I like it very much. Especially because I fly the EXACT same Concorde in Flight Simulator X! G-BOAC. She’s so beautiful. 🥰👑❤️👍🏽

I got some great pics from the windows when I flew on Concorde. The sky was very dark above us. Edge of space. Amazing

I flew across the Atlantic between LHR & JFK on a number of occasions in the '90s and early '2000s by Concorde - and of all the wonderful things I have done in my life, boarding a Concorde and flying at Mach2 at 60K feet is up there with the best. No matter how many times you flew by Concorde EVERY trip was exhilarating. Absolutely amazing. The sound and power of rocketing down a runway and lifting off...............wow. Out of JFK, she would bank sharp left immediately after take-off and that was like being on a Disney ride! I do feel blessed that I had the chance to experience it. The last trip was in Jan 2003, and the plane was almost empty on both legs as the public had, I guess, become nervous of flying on it after the Paris tragedy. Although once retirement had been announced I heard that every flight was packed. I actually choked up watching the retirement lights on TV.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful story. You are one of the few who travelled on Concorde; what a blessing.

@@GuitarForKids It's true I really do feel blessed............I have a super 20' model of a Concorde and every time I look at it I sigh. We used to get some amazing gifts on the aircraft, silver photo frames, pens, and writing sets, which I still have at the bottom of a drawer. I actually made 4 trips to the US and back over the period from 1993 to 2003. We knew a BA pilot who could get us discounted tickets. As I recall they were about £1,700 return. One of our trips was actually booked using AirMiles! I kid you not. I travelled a lot for my job as did my partner and we always used BA so our AirMiles ( now Avios ) account used to build up real quick. Nowadays we have to put up with BA First, it's terrible it really is...lol

@@maxthelab8457 That's wonderful. The Concorde gifts are incredible memorabilia for you. I would have loved to have flown Concorde. I guess taking it for granted when Concorde was in service wasn't a great idea. It's only when the opportunity has gone do we realise we should have taken action. :)
