Yep. It’s a fake because they changed the PC case (or swapping the motherboard). This is just a waste of time and they make it just to get more views and subs on YT in my opinion. Yes, that's definitely how you clean a pc, and that's definitely a 30 years old pc, with a 7 years old case, a 10 years old motherboard, a new hard disk and with windows 10 installed, definitely a 30 years old pc
This is less than 20 years old, it's at most from 2006, and at least, from 2010. 11 to 15 years old. Not 30 years old, even the most dirty pc from then, which I believe I own, was not this dirty. It was from a car repair shop and caked in dust, and still not this dirty. Was used up until 2019. And was from 2006. It's obvious this pc just had dirt thrown on it.
Yeah you right, that computer was made around 2010 or maybe later, if you see the video exactly at @9.03min you will see the date of the CD ROM's mechanism and the frame is showing 2010-09-16. So that frame was made on September 16th 2010. at least the CD ROM mechanism was made on that date and the complete computer maybe on that year o maybe later. so it's not older than 12 years.

11:12 I don't have a lake nearby. Can I still wash my computer case? Does it have to be a river? Will a trickling creek or small pond work just as well? I don't want to use the garden hose because I want good results.
I'm not very much familiar with the motherboards but I'm definitely sure that SATA drives were not available 30 years ago. It's only been around for less than 20. And also, black PC cases and black CD/DVD drives only started becoming mainstream around the early 2000's. If that was 30 years old, then that PC would have had IDE sockets for the drives and case would have been white or ivory color. Restoring the HDD in that manner is no different from just throwing it with the trash or just keeping it as a paper weight.
@@hifijohn funny thing is: the motherboard mismatched. Look at socket. It's lga 775 g31 chipset possibly with core 2 duo/pentium dualcore/pentium 4. Max mobo support is 4gb (2x2gb ddr2) Then you boot it and it's i5 3470 with 8 gb ram. MAGIC

I remember when I was doing field service engineering, we would get the pcb boards from communications equipment from the customer's sites, strip out the socketed ic's and then soak the boards in soap & water solution, clean with fine hard bristled brushes then dry them out with blow dryers and reassemble after a few days of extra drying in a heat chamber and then test on a board of nails test bed and do other checks and then back out in the customer's sites.

30 years ago (really 1993) I went to a regional computer convention and at one of the booths a guy working for a computer cleaning company tried to convince me that 90% of computer crashes are just because computers need to be cleaned. I guess he was right.
This guy would download some more ram space from internet
My thoughts throughout this video:
1) huh, this should be interesting, maybe this guy isn't a fraud.
2) yikes, the corrosion damage looks quite bad, and it seems to be more of a 2012 PC. No worries, he might have just made a mistake in the title and he probably has replacement parts.
3) why is the CPU perfectly clean and dustless when the other parts are covered in mud?
4) okay this wizard is using his black magic to clean the HDD with a wire brush, there is absolutely no way you can dispute his talent
5) what did I tell you? He managed to put windows 10 on a 30 year old PC! Give this man a medal.

Core i5 and 8 GB of RAM in a 30 years old PC... Sure, sure...
