I messed up and lost two because I put the bolt on the wrong side closing it, and had to reopen it. But I would have lost way more without this, and the second time it was perfect!
I don't know if i'll ever get one of these, as they are really expensive, still i'm curious and thank you for sharing this moment. Awesome skill playing marbles, same with the Shirogorov.
I KNOW i wouldnt think to do this myself but watching you do it, im wondering if the cloth or top bearing transferred any oil to the top or opening of the pivot barrel, thereby bringing oil down into the threads. But maybe not.
Never In a million years. Great knife yes it is but we have the technology to use captured bearings that will be just as good and no maintenance nightmare. This is the sole reason I will never own one of these
I have to watch this every time it's so complicated! But worth it to get that smoothness back
A ball sack if you will 😂
Always in brand with that humor my man. Great informative video.
Always a great morning when I get to spend some time with a Shabazz disassembly. Beautiful knife!
Looking forward to lubricating mine! I figured the ball bearings were bigger...

very nice of you to take the bearings for a swim.

I just got the Sting 315 about 2 weeks ago, and they are now including the tool and a bit.
Didn't you get the T20 bit as well in the package? My recent ones got the tool and a bit for the pivot. ;)
Thanks for sharing bud doesn’t seem to bad for Batman but regular people may take a little longer
Wonderful! Thank you.
Note to self, never take this knife apart! Are there replacement captured bearings to replace those? What size?
4:50 just when I thought Nick couldn’t be any cooler…
yeeting balls. Nick where did your balls go>? lmao
I had to scroll ahead to make sure it was an actual disassembly and not a troll video lol
🙌🔥🙌
That bearing system is a total nightmare. No matter the cost or the beauty of the knife that system is just a big no.
You could put a magnet under the mat.
Nice idea, but doesn't work for ceramic balls :(
"So this has gotten out of hand" lol
quite literally a sack of balls haha
I have to disagree with your ball installation method. My pointed tweezers work much better on my knives. Mostly shiros.

All I can hear is mayor quimby
