      Gotta have some music! 😊
      I actually had more but the video was too long, so I cut some of it out. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment! 👊

    I love how you admire the strop. It is nice. I made one with top rated cow leather mounted on rosewood. I look at it every day 😊

    Awesome video! I was floored when I saw how well the eraser worked. It’s like magic! Nice edge on that 110 too!

      It worked like a dream! Didn't even have to rub it hard! The Buck has an uneven secondery bevel that widens at the tip, but it is very sharp! 👍
      Thank you very much for watching and commenting, My friend!

    I use a gum eraser for cleaning my diamond plates and ceramic hones, add another use for it.

    Very impressive! What material is that eraser made from? There are rubber erasers, gum erasers, etc. Again, very impressive!!!

      I'm not sure. To be honest I just used the first one I found. I have to look into that, and maybe try different ones. 👍
      Thank you very much for your time and feedback, my friend! 👊

    Have you tried balsa wood as a strop?

    • @norwegiantinkerer4133
      @norwegiantinkerer4133  2 роки тому

      No I haven’t, lately I’ve mostly been stropping on my Tormeks. It’s easier and faster. 👍🏻

    Since when do Norwegians measure things in inches?

    • @norwegiantinkerer4133
      @norwegiantinkerer4133  2 роки тому

      Most of my friends in the knife community are from the US, so it feels natural to use inches.

    What was that yellow paste you used?

    • @norwegiantinkerer4133
      @norwegiantinkerer4133  2 роки тому

      It is a 3 micron diamond paste. I got it trough a friend in the states. It may be from chefknivestogo. I know they have a good selection of sprays and pastes.👍
      Sorry I can't remember exactly, because I got it several years ago.
