Gotta have some music! 😊 I actually had more but the video was too long, so I cut some of it out. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment! 👊
It worked like a dream! Didn't even have to rub it hard! The Buck has an uneven secondery bevel that widens at the tip, but it is very sharp! 👍 Thank you very much for watching and commenting, My friend!
I'm not sure. To be honest I just used the first one I found. I have to look into that, and maybe try different ones. 👍 Thank you very much for your time and feedback, my friend! 👊
It is a 3 micron diamond paste. I got it trough a friend in the states. It may be from chefknivestogo. I know they have a good selection of sprays and pastes.👍 Sorry I can't remember exactly, because I got it several years ago.
I use a gum eraser for cleaning my diamond plates and ceramic hones, add another use for it.
Thank you for your input, John! I will keep that in mind for later. 👍
Thanks for the Gum Eraser Tip . I have been using magic eraser but going to try the gum eraser.
That is a nice method.
I'll have to upgrade most strops to higher quality leather for that to work though.
I wanted better strops anyway.
Thank you for watching. Much appreciated.👊🏻
Great info thank you so much I am going to do this to a couple of my homemade leather strops.
The erraser worked great!
Thank you foe watching, brother!
I love how you admire the strop. It is nice. I made one with top rated cow leather mounted on rosewood. I look at it every day 😊
Wow..the eraser worked like a champ!! Ah...there's the music...lol!! The eraser is like magic!! Great video brother!!
Gotta have some music! 😊

Thanks for the advice, and thank you for watching! 👍
Wow. What a simple trick.
Yes, I was surprised myself.
Thank you for watching and commenting.👊🏻
Wow! That works fast! Got to get me a big eraser! Thanks for this!
Worked way better than I thought it would. 👍
Have you tried balsa wood as a strop?
No I haven’t, lately I’ve mostly been stropping on my Tormeks. It’s easier and faster. 👍🏻
Awesome video! I was floored when I saw how well the eraser worked. It’s like magic! Nice edge on that 110 too!

Heat gun and cleaning rag also works great.
Thanks, I didn’t know that. 👍🏻
Very impressive! What material is that eraser made from? There are rubber erasers, gum erasers, etc. Again, very impressive!!!

Since when do Norwegians measure things in inches?
Most of my friends in the knife community are from the US, so it feels natural to use inches.
What was that yellow paste you used?
It is a 3 micron diamond paste. I got it trough a friend in the states. It may be from chefknivestogo. I know they have a good selection of sprays and pastes.👍
Sorry I can't remember exactly, because I got it several years ago.
@@norwegiantinkerer Cool, thank you. I've ordered stones from chefknives to go, will check it out.
