Dude someone give this man an Oscar he is the best! Helps me with all my fj maintenance and somehow adds a way too make me laugh in every video while doing soo love you man
Thank you so much sir. I learned a lot. My old toyota got new brakeshoes and it runs perfect. Have a woderful day😊
Thanks for your video!!
I’ve found two exploded assembly views that show the bottom of the U-bend in the retaining pin near the axle. The video shows it oriented away from the axle.
Before watching the video I had already assembled my brake with the bottom of the U-bend toward the axle because it seemed the bend is there to clear the actuation lever. When I saw the video I thought I’d better check.
Thanks again!
Great instructor video
Thank u much that helped a ton!!
My green spring isn't the same. One end is vertical and the other is horizontal. Yours is parallel. Making connecting it easy
great job man
Thank you.
Assuming that he switched to the LR after briefly working on the RR, shouldn't the wear-indicator be at the bottom? From what I have researched, the wear-indicator should be on the leading-edge of forward rotor-rotation. Accordingly, for rear-facing calipers, it should be at the bottom and for front-facing calipers, it should be at the top. (View "Here's the correct way to Change Brake Pads & Rotors in a car " on the "Junky DIY guy" YT-channel.)
Any video for the 04 - 08??
What is that part called at 10:51? It doesn't come with the kit and I don't have the old ones
Wouldn't it be easier if you remove the hub bearing?
Yea, he did not read the manual first.
DIY removing the bearing? Easier? LOL!
Help, plz! When I put in the "rear" pin it sticks out to long ( it touches the centre of the wheel) do I turn it wrong???
Did you figure it out
