This was just beaten by Isaiah Rivera at 50.5 These need to all be done with the same equipment specifically on the same court. Every basketball court has different spring and rebound depending on how it's built.
Unfortunately as great of a jumper as Isaiah is, he does not have the official world record as the device itself must be verified as each Vertec is not built the same. The Vertec in this world record by Dac was actually 1.5" lower than the measurements on the device. I do believe that Isaiah has the ability to best the world record, but I also believe that Darius has the ability to best his own too. Same court, same day, same device is the only way to know for sure.
Unfortunately, your vertical is based on your height as well. And Isaiah was way taller. Therefore, his vertical isn't as high as these guys. Cousin. If he was the same height as isaiah, he would have had a higher vertical than isaiah, which is why it goes by height
@@factsudontwant Bro, you are so wrong on this shit. You are measured from tip of your fingers, your standing reach, then you jump and hit the highest you can. That is how it's measured and that is your true running vertical. You are so confused somehow and aren't bringing common sense into this at all. Try real hard to understand that height has no effect on vertical. Your vertical is how high you jump, period. Height doesn't come into the measurement. It could, but then you would have to measure the highest point a person's head get a to during a jump and that is a lot harder than this way.
Congrats to the bro! Also wanted to say that Jesus Christ loves everyone and died for all of our sins. Jesus also rose again from the dead three days later, proving everything He said to be true (before He died He said He would rise again from the dead). Everyone has sin and the wages of sin is death. Sin leads to death and death leads to hell (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23) But Jesus died for our sins and paid our debt to sin, so anyone who chooses to believe in Him will be saved from hell and could go to heaven. If you want to make Him your Lord and Savior you could say this prayer: Lord Jesus, I confess You as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me for all of my sins, I repent and I turn to You. Please help me to live for You, and I love you. In Jesus name, Amen! If you prayed that, Glory be to God! Please get a Bible, read it every day, pray everyday and please go to church. Jesus loves you!
Well, so how high was his reach? The guy off-screen just keeps saying "50 inches", but 50 inches is only 4 feet plus 2 inches. That reach of his was at least 13 feet off the ground. Also, what's his name? [edit: so are they saying that the difference between his reach while he's standing versus his reach while he's jumping is 50 inches? That makes sense. That's also very impressive.]
Evan Ungar is a friend and even he will tell you that he has a box jump record, not the max vertical jump WR. I know this is the WR bc I measured it and I was verified by Guinness to do so.
That’s absolutely unimpressive let’s be realistic. Many basketball dudes now have 127cm verticals. 78… 127 like bro why are we making a video on a very average jump, I can do more than 78
I'm sure there are a few guys who could match this, but sadly none have officially yet. Dac is the first VERIFIED 50" vertical. He has the world record. Period. 127 is the furthest from thing from average. Unless we are talking the planet Krypton...
It is. This would be considering running vertical. They need strict rules and regulation. Every dunker needs to be using the same equipment to measure and most importantly they need to rest on the same court and in the same part of that specific court. Every basketball court has different rebound.
The standing counter movement jump is a measurement and the approach or max vertical is a separate measure. Max vertical is the highest you can project off the ground.
Pin me I’m early

Ive seen korean body builders jump higher 52.7 inches no running start barely a drop step. Look up Sargeants jump physical 100 season 1.

@@patricklewis2199 You've seen them jump 52 inches without bending their legs?
this the type of guy to jump on the net and drop the basketball in
lol I agree!
Half man half kangaroo 😅❤ dude
Congrats to the bro!

Dac had a reach of 8'1" and touched 12'3". Difference between the 2 is 50".

They did box jumps. That is different from a vertical leap.
Who is he?
That's not the record . And that's not a consider vertices jump. Evan Ungar has the record 63 inches

This video sucks it doesn't even show him jumping or how high he jumps
are you stupid, its a video of him jumping and telling you its a 50 inch jump, how thick are you?

I thought a vertical was flat footed
