Because of Fable I have a new found respect for ravens. I live in Maryland in the United States and our football team is named The Ravens!! I had no idea they could talk! When Fable fluffs up her head feathers and says boop boop it's so adorable. Thank you Fable your a great ambassador of the raven!!
They’re called The Ravens because Baltimore was the home of Edgar Allen Poe…

Fable doesn't even look like the same bird when she's younger! She really grew into her feathers
Ever since I discovered fable the raven I’ve wanted to befriend the local ravens 🥰 they’re such incredible and intelligent creatures and I don’t think most people realize that.
I encourage you to do so! I've had a fascination with corvids for years and began feeding unsalted peanuts to a small local crow colony this summer. It's been really great, and since they live about half an hour away on foot, it's really helped me get out more
They can also be wicked and evil. Don’t let the domesticated Fable fool you
@@Astronurd What are you talking about?! They are not evil no animal is evil. Humans can be evil but not animals. Ravens are great and lovely.

@@puppetsock YES! That would be adorable. There was a raven I met many years ago at a wildlife rehab center who had been raised in captivity so it couldn't be released to the wild. They had him in a large aviary and he seemed very happy. I was so surprised when I was visiting one day and he seemed to remember me, and he said, "Hello!" He repeated that several times. Then I started to walk away and he cawed, "Come BACK!"

I’ve interacted with Ravens in rural northern Arizona, and have watched the parents teaching skills to their young, the playful flying and soaring above in the windy climate. They are amazing creatures. God Bless you young Lady.
Roadrunners are fun, too. Easy to tame and comedians!

That was a delightful 9 minutes.
I have three(ish) small families of crows that follow me around the neighborhood when I’m walking my dog, a large white “arctic shepherd”. They trust me and my dog enough to land within 3-4 feet, waiting for little kibble treats. My dog pays them no mind, but I love the way your pointer is so curious.
I'm in FL too. Wish we had ravens here. I had no idea how much bigger they are than crows.

Friend ??! i hate that dog thinking it can disrespect other creature, smoldering them, and that is exactly how dog owner end up to be, obnoxious and oblivious to their bad manners. Birds know manners and respect. Dog are just dogs.

it's so neat to see Fable when she was younger--the lighter eyes, light pink mouth, and fleshy parts around the corners of her beak are all "fledgling bird" indications that I'm very familiar with from seeing them in crows--neat to see them on a raven. :D

These vintage clips are wonderful. I do remember Fable learning about human hair and the interactions between Fable and your dog are worth more than the price of admission.

I love watching Ravens; Fable is so interesting. One my favourites is watching aerial acrobatics. I remember seeing one doing a barrel roll for the first time, and I realized they often flew for the sheer joy of it. It's a funny feeling to realize an animal experienced life in way that was joyful and fun, and mischievous. Many animals play, and that makes them more like us than not.

Moving to a country with ravens made me notice that too! Some of them obviously fly for fun, it's so cute seeing them play in the air!
Also makes me think of how much of human life is still so animal-like! Among birds, ravens and parrots feel way too conscious, just like octopi for mollusks!
It honestly baffles me that my philosophy teacher still insists animals have no minds lol

@@JohnSmith-uy7sv that's okay, many of us cannot contribute but did you know that just watching, liking, subscribing and commenting DOES contribute to the channel here on you tube?
Likewise, watching a channel that is questionable and giving a thumbs down and commenting your feelings about it also contributes to that channel which is why I stopped watching certain channels about macaque monkeys in Asia. I learned that those videographers do not have the animal's best interst at heart, so I avoid them,, or report them if I end up viewing by mistake - but that's a whole other story!
Negative or positive, just watching and commenting contributes! So, see? You HAVE indeed contributed!

I don't knowingly watch or support atheist channels. So sad that so many people choose to believe man but deny the Christian Holy Bible and Genesis chapter 1. I love this! Corvids, especially crows and ravens, are my favorite animals, and I love all creatures. They talk to and interact with humans. They are playful and mischievous. They are highly companionable and they like very specific things and people. Fable is so responsive. Wonderful. Thank you for putting this up on your channel.

For 14 years I was a member of a professional paid pirate crew started by a husband and wife team. The wife was a falconer. They had a African Pied Raven named Oreo. Sadly he passed away 2 years ago. He was greatly loved by the audiences we interacted with. I have always enjoyed watching your videos on Fable and finally subscribed today.

As a kid the ravens would sit on the phone lines outside in the city cussing like sailors, they learned it from the utility workers and street department workers and the trash collectors. All day out there just cussing up a storm.

We have been adopted by a raven family of four. We call the male Edgar, At Lake Tahoe they drop in every day at 5:30 AM for a selection of hot dogs and other food scraps. Once a large robin died and so we buried it. Our ravin had it dug up he next day, tearing out the feathers and then tore it up and ate it all on a fence top. Majestic birds and quite vocal with their different squaks and cackles in the rising sun at the lake each morning...

What a very curious and smart little soul and she just wanted to be cared for and loved and you did that for her. I think my favorite part is when you were teaching her the piano and teaching her how to sing the boop boop song . Lol. Your dog is beautiful .

The footage was good, it’s funny listening to the boop boop forming, the dog is very good with Fable, also the new bathing skills, not quite in the right spot, soon learns water is better than gravel .

I love ravens....when I camped there was a nest right behind my trailer high up in the trees....I started noticing all the different calls and how they were answered by other ravens near by.I loved listening to their conversations..❤
