    Try using a right angle die grinder to grind your welds back. Easier then using a bulky angle grinder. Great job no less.

    Really enjoying your progress and improvement with welding technique. Curious why you are suggesting fibreglass filler when you previously have had success with lead filler? Speaking from experience I have a 911SC that I had painted in the California in 1997-ish and looking at it now you can see where the filler was applied due to disturbances in the paintwork that are visible now but were not visible for the first 15 years.

    I would take modeling clay... put it in refrigerator get cool not to cold and apply It next to panel. Down side was if you hammer dolly area without hitting clay. Really came out nice!

      @@rennch. I watched rest of your video...your flares came out better than anything I've ever done. Most metal workers today get it close then use the "fender in a can " technique to finish off the body. I really enjoyed watching you work the flares leaving a finished bare metal look. Your 100% right...no better feeling when all that hard work brings out results like that. Can't wait for paint!

    • @martinsteele3259
      @martinsteele3259 3 роки тому

      @@rennch. The only one I found works is the Uro link. I think there might be some hidden characters in the link. I am using Chrome and when I select the link this is what shows "rennch.com/rd%C3%A2%C2%80%C2%8B%C3%A2%C2%80%C2%8B%C3%A2%C2%80%C2%8B" If I remove the extra characters the link works properly. Might just be for me, but not sure.
