First off you've taught me more about Sheetmetal working in even this video alone than I have ever received at any body shop I've worked at or any other youtube video. So thank you tips and lessons here are a huge help for me with my endless projects including my 1986 BMW E30. If I won that welder I would finish converting my 03 WRX Wagon into a wide-body(STI Bugeye wagon). I already have a STI front end on the car. I have the doors and rear quarter panels waiting to be put on the car. Eventually I will be building the motor and converting it to a newer STI 6-spd. This project means so much to me because I got the car so me and my Dad could repair our relationship and I grew up watching Rally and Ken Block videos. My Dad passed away October 16th 2019.(Unfortunately my sister passed away roughly a month later) and now that Ken Block has passed away I have a renewed drive to finish it as a tribute to all 3 of them. Thats why I love watching this Porsche build so much Im learning the skills I need to go through with it myself. Im sorry Im a day late getting the comment in I have Church Saturdays.

I've got a Subaru GC8 Impreza that needs a quarter panel, it's a perfect guinea pig. Exhaust system is also on the list for that car, it would make great welding practice beforehand. After that I'd probably make some custom bodywork on my 1979 Opel Kadett C, I'd love to get some more modern and sporty design language in the front of that.

I always look forward to a new video. And sure I'd LOVE to have a giveaway TIG. One of the reasons I watch this channel is because it is a representation of a long-term fantasy I've had of making a widebody XJS that flows (like the Hyper version instead of the more cut and fold Lyster). But that also means I'll have to do some general metal work on the old doner... the first car I ever bought.. long neglected.. my old XJS I bought decades ago... which it is time to resurrect. And yes, it will need some metal work now.

But primarily it would be used to do the welding on my own projects in my home garage. I have everything from a 1940 plymouth to a 996 to a nissan 240sx and a 1995 ford f350. Did you know that the 928 has a "Weissach axle" in the rear? It is a passive rear steering system that will turn the rear wheels under cornering loads to allow it to turn better in a corner. I would be sad to see your beautiful wide body rear steel fenders get damaged because they didn't have enough clearance for agressive driving when finished. Keep up the good work, your fab skills and video skills are top notch 👌!

Im 21 correctly working as an apprentice in a small fabrication shop. Love it to bits
Would love to tig weld at home. I have a old toyota that needs a bit of work. And I've been practicing my tig welding for ages (feels like it) would probably start out by doing some exhaust work with it

I would love to have the TIG 200 because I would finally be able to weld aluminum in shop and also be able to modify the aluminum body panels on my Land Rovers.
