She's pretty much Kaiba's foil and while I would've liked to see her duel more I don't think she was shafted like say Alexis or Akiza. It still seems kind of weird nobody knew she was competing in Battle City though - you'd think Kaiba would've just checked the registry or something when there was one finalist not accounted for.

I think her revival came with Duel Links with the Gravekeepers being paired with her, and again when her Earth Fairy monsters received a re-train. I would also love to see an analysis and more support for Blair and the Lightsworns. Compared to the two, Lightsworns at least has a Link monster, whereas Gravekeepers only have a Fusion monster as their boss, and the entire archetype isn't as viable for play, but more so for fun and possibly rogue deck. Overall, I do agree that Blair and the Lightsworns should have support, so I'm with you there.

Man I love Ishizu she is one of my favorite female character designs in all female characters in series and she has deck support cards she rightfully deserves sadly her support cards ended up either limited or forbidden list which is really shame since her deck got much needed support for so long since their debuts in anime and manga

It's worth noting that the current Exchange of the Spirit is the nerfed version. The pre-errata version only required the user to have 15 or more cards in the graveyard. The card got banned because you could combo it with pre-errata Makyura the Destructor to mill your opponent's whole deck before they entered their first draw phase.
It might be just me, but the new artwork for Muko reminds me of her dad, which is kind of fitting, given that he forbade Marik, Ishizu and Odion from ever leaving outside because of their duties

Oh yes the chocolate Egyptian Babe. It took me till now for me to realize that she's actually really attractive or to be more accurate thanks to certain material I found on the Internet. I mean not that I'm complaining because she was a really cool character and attractive lol.
It's great how a set of cards with terrible effects and little to no synergy with each other can be retrained into some of the most powerful cards in the game, all of which synergize perfectly with each other. Also great to see anime cards being able to take a previously mid deck, and make it nearly unstoppable as with Tearlaments. That rarely happens.

Also these ridiculous restrictions on otherwise completely broken effects pumping up the word count. Old monsters had 1 or maybe 2 effects. Most of the time making them distinct. Jinzo for example has a simple 1 sentence effect and it made him distinct and iconic. Nowadays each boss monster has a couple of negates and maybe also a quick effect removal if Konami feels creative. Oh and dont forget the floating graveyard and on summon effects as well. Lets take for example Baronne, generic Synchro with a negate and destruction. Whats special about that monster? Something making it distinct? Nothing. Its bland. It has no character.

Borrelload Savage Dragon? Negate. Appolousa? Negate. Baronne? Negate. Wow such creativity. 2 of these even have the same boring as 3k stat line. There are still some new unique boss monster effects but they are mostly part of rogue strategies.
Thing is people ask for retrains or support for the older cards...this time around Konami retrained all the Ishizu monsters and made them too good and surprisingly they had a good chemistry with Tearlaments. I'd say for the next time they want to do that, they should lock them to archetype specific, to keep everything fine and balanced if able.
I realize I'm old when I remember both Mudora and Kelbek being relatively decent, and at time scary, monsters in casual fairy decks some friend had. A lv4 monster that could easily get into the 2000+ attack range, which back in a slower and more brute force focused era was a big deal, and a monster that could be used to bounce a high lv monster your opponent tribute summoned.
I used her deck with original version(only Kelbek and Mudora were useful but nvm) as support and with Obelisk in MD Duelist Cup, made it to lvl 15 and then I was too busy to continue but it was fun
As obnoxious as these cards were with tearlament, I like what konami was going for with the effects and the gameplay of manipulating the number of cards in grave.
Actually, since Gravekeeper's Trap is both a Gravekeeper's Card by name and a Gravekeeper can also be added to Hand. I feel a neat and clean Segway into a video for the Gravekeepers is in play as well. Just saying.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only cards that actually had characters besides the new Ishizu card on the card were, Yu-Jo friendship, Barians Chaos Draw, Utopic Zexal, and Judgement of the pharaoh.
Anyone know how Necrovalley negates Exchange of Spirit? The wiki only says Necrovalley will negate it. I'm assuming the deck and graveyard simply won't swap. But the effect states EotS simply swaps the deck with the GY. Do you remove the cards from the GY and put your deck in there or does your GY become your deck and the deck becomes treated as the new GY?
Do they Ever test cards before they release them? It’s so annoying when new released cards are only out for a little while then get banned and are basically useless
With Tearlaments being added to MD today, and everyone going ape saying "this is the end of Master Duel, hope ya'll saved gems time to adapt of die", it was good to have these cards explained in what they actually do. I also find it funny that Tearlaments have been hit with limited and semi-limited before even being added, like Konami knew they were a problem haha.

Ishizu is my favourite character. I wish she had more of a role, and I wish they showed her using Gravekeepers.

You should review the Gravekeeper's archetype since Ishizu uses that deck in duel links.
