- After appearing as the very first guest on Show People, Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth returned to Broadway.com's studios to chat with host Paul Wontorek about her many exciting current projects. Watch as Chenoweth compares her new TV comedy GCB (premiering on March 4 on ABC) to "chocolate cake" and gushes about her co-stars and the show's scribe Robert Harling. The star also reveals some details about her first concert tour, including what audiences can expect: a special rendition of her Wicked number "Popular" and fan favorites that she must sing because "I will be killed if I do not!" Even with so much on her plate, Chenoweth is still planning to return to Broadway to headline a revival of On the Twentieth Century. But wait, there's more! We also learn that Cheno is a secret Hedwig and the Angry Inch fan and how she really feels about everyone from Rick Santorum to Hugh Jackman.

Paul Wontorek is underrated! He never seems to get the credit he deserves. He gives the BEST interviews. He is always so well-informed going into the interviews and he asks the most amazing questions. All while having a super sparkly personality and amazing connection with the subject of the interview! I LOVE YOU PAUL!
I love how different Kristin is in this interview, I think she feels comfortable and I feel like she is speaking from her heart.
basically a wicked pun in the first 20 seconds
dunno if you guys gives a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the new series on instaflixxer. Been streaming with my brother for the last weeks :)
@Allan Uriah yup, have been watching on InstaFlixxer for since november myself =)
I'm seven minutes in and ive already said "i love her!" like 20 million times. :)
My GOD YES! She must do On The Twentieth Century!!!!!!!!!
I love her!
ADORE her.
I'm actually going to explode! I'm seeing Cheno in Manchester, UK in March with my folks...Can't Fudging Wait!
i would pay serious money to hear her rap popular :)
Awesomness!!!
love Kristin Chenoweth
I saw the first episode of GCB on itunes and it was amazing! I can't wait to see the next episode too bad I have to wait a week :(
but I LOVED IT!!!!
i love her
I love how she is so truthful about her religion, I'm so glad there is one celebrity who is open about being a Christian. I am a fairly religious person and i pay attention to these things and she is the only celebrity I have seen do this. :D
She knew Hugh was great even then....😍❤️❤️❤️
lol i love how she has the sporadic southern accent
Imagine someone wanting to punch you for being happy... I wish I was happy every day and those people are amazing...
I love her funny talk show interviews, but its nice to see her less "on" and more relaxed.
Sorry to get political, but I seriously just adore the way in which she is so confident in what she believes in. Her views on homosexuality and her religion are so inspiring.
Kristin is wonderful.
I would love to see if her “respect whoever hold the office no matter what” opinion still holds true in 2019
Wow. Paul Wontorek is distractingly gorgeous.
Gah, tell me about it. I basically threw an adult strop for several days after I heard the news.
@SteveMaihack she's actually sick. if you follow her Twitter stream, she's been complaining, adorably of course, about being sick for almost a week now. :)
ok, am i the only one who now wants to know what her favorite episode of sex and the city is?
i thought her character's last name was pronounced "Coburn." It's an (i'm guessing) irish surname. Looks terrible when spelled, but isn't too rare.
To bad the show was cancelled
Is it just me or is this interview being conducted in her sinuses?!? This it the most Nasal I have EVER heard KC. Seriously, I want to take her to Duane Reade the entire time. Slow down gurl- and Neti Pot!
this comment is extremely depressing now
KCHEN
lol
Not only the gay issue is a civil rights issue where Republicans drop the ball, dear Cheno. There are a LOT of issues where you should've an issue with the Reps in the civil rights department. Why can't you see that? Does coming from the South equal a love for blind pro-capitalist politics? Because that's what the Reps pursue. Blind pro-capitalist politics, no matter who gets hurt, which is why there's more than "just" the gay community's civil rights issue. Don't you think that poverty is a civil rights issue also? Well, let me tell you, it certainly is. It becomes clear from their politics that Republicans despise poor people, that must tell you something. Being rich doesn't equal being good, let alone being superior. This makes me sad, actually.
