Lifestyle videos would be awesome! I feel like it would give a picture of what ALL of life is like as an OT because we’d see what it’s like to balance work and passions outside of OT
How did I miss this upload?! Can’t wait to see your upcoming vids! I’m also in the DMV! I’m about a year away from being able to apply to OT school and I’m so excited yet still have so much to do! Congratulations on your business!
Yay I loved hearing your story. It really resonanted with me! I started a travel OT contract really far from home when I was fresh out of school (which wasn't the best idea) 🤔 burnout is sooo real. I moved home and found a Peds OT job that I'm in and still loving 2 years later. This was so fun to watch! I would love a video about keeping a healthy work life balance. I'm always asking my fellow peds OTs their tips and tricks.Good luck in your OT journey :)
Thank you so much for your support!! Burnout is super real haha! I'm glad you found a job you loved! I'll be sure to make a video about a healthy work life balance! The more tips on this the better :)
Please keep posting, I’m applying to OT school next month and a lot of videos are saying it’s not worth it and to choose a different career. I’m so scared
Thank you for your message! I would say that you need to follow your dreams. Don't let other people's experience create your own. OT can be a very enjoyable career once you find the right setting and place for you! Hope this helps you and good luck with your OT journey!
Hi! I recently started looking into OT for a post grad degreee as I have recently decided the path i was going on wasn't for me , I am just wondering what made you choose this profession or any advise you might have for me!
Hi! Thank you for your message. I joined this profession because it really is client centered and we have a holistic approach when looking/treating our clients. Also with my degree I have many other avenues besides just patient care which made me very excited for all the possibilities I could have in my future! Hope this helps you :)
