Hey, , what do you mean by tune + IWG? Did you just buy his waste gate with the tune? And have you had him tune it for power, or just pops and bangs? Sounds great btw, i can only imagine what his p&b would do to my borla s type!!
It's TUNE+ Upgraded Wastegate Actuator you can get it on their website. The wastegate they sell need some adjustments on the tune and Adam will tune it for you if you purchased their tune service. The P&B is just an add-on to the tune so you still need to get their tune service. Thanks!
I've been there just like you are! I say definitely educate yourself with all the online forums like Facebook group and learn about your car before you make any mods to it. As for tuning go with Adamtuned he's legit and the car is totally different from the day I bought it. Upgrading the downpipe will definitely need a tune to get the most power potential, also to avoid CEL in my experience... Car's running strong for more than 10k now since I started tuning it. Ecobooms are mostly caused by improper tuning from what I've leant from Adam.
3 to 2.25. If you are looking for full 3 inch all the way you might need to look for some adapters and cut off that tapered end. Won't make much difference anyways.
@@QtheMisanthrope For stock turbo it's ok to keep the stock DP on as aftermarket DP won't add much hp gain from what I've heard from Adam. If you are going big turbo then a full 3 inch system would def have less restriction.
I have the Cobb stage 1 with Cobb CAI, and custom catback (2.5” pipes, center mounted magnaflow muffler - doubles as muffler and y pipe, with 4” polished exhaust tips). With this set up, my 2018 ecoboost Mustang has about 290 whp, 370 lb/ft torque (based on 80% parasitic loss from crank to wheels for hp and 10% for torque). Based on your numbers, you assume a 25% hp gain in hp. The official numbers from Cobb is 17% peak gains - both hp and torque. Peak gains to the crank are about 54 hp and 41 lb/ft torque. Great numbers in either case.
Sounds good AF. Just like my Eco.
Sounds great
Stealing your setup hahaha. Just went stage 1 this week.

Kai Lin cool thanks, is pb any extra charge?
@@Sapotech yeah it costs another 100
How is your car running now with the mods done? All this ecoboom stuff makes me afraid to get a downpipe and tune it

How much boost are you making? Also what is the drone like when you’re cruising on the highway?
around 23 psi. As for drone, it shouldn't be too loud above 2.5k rpm but it's loudest at around 2k.
what makes it pop that much? is it a burble tune
Yes it was a burble tune from TunePlus. I no longer run that tune on the car since 3 years ago tbh it got obnoxious over time...
Is this is 3 inches all the way through or is the a 3 to 2.25 adapter because every photo of the mbrp has a tapered end on the y pipe to the downpipe
3 to 2.25. If you are looking for full 3 inch all the way you might need to look for some adapters and cut off that tapered end. Won't make much difference anyways.
I assume it not that much restriction going form 3 to 2.25 back to 3 compared to the standard exhaust

@@kailynn745 hey I just installed my mbrp but the clearance of the axle back is tight on the sway bar does your ever make contact
is the downpipe uncatted? and when you downshift does it get a lot of pops and burples going down in rpms?
it's catted and yeah you get some pops when let off gas at 3-4k rpms.
Kai Lynn did you get a check engine light from the downpipe?
Foreal do you get the check engine light ?
@@crmcargarage Had the tune flashed before I started the car with the new dp installed, so no CEL.
@@Weedbrained need to flash tune from your tuner before you start it with new dp on.
how much horsepower with all the mods?
Never dyno it. Probably around 310-320 whp and 370 wtq

Sorry, but theres NO way youre making anywhere near those numbers without a protune.
@@E52O4 that a badass idea for your y pipe that is something I want to do to save more weight I have the active examiner and it's heavy as hell.
