Might try this build in play-through 2. Loving the warrior right now. Slowly going into the champion path but it’s still too early to tell what I will settle with.
@ it’s fun to me. I mean it’s one dimensional in a way. It operates how warriors do in all games but to be fair. I’m still under level 20. I haven’t had a chance to cook up any builds yet but I’m loving the class so far.
@@aries148 Yo hate to sidetrack here but I'm like 6 hours in now... Is this whole game so.. tame? Like story-wise and dialogue? I played the OG Dragon Age and I feel like this is almost rated PG in comparison
@ I think so? The side quests get you more in-tuned with the backstory and ambitions of the companions. They are some okay sub stories within the factions but nothing that amazes me.
Just finished the game with this build. It's fun because it makes you think about when and how to use your abilities, not just spam them to your heart's content. Plus, I made it lore-perfect by being a Lord of Fortune who picks the middle right dialogue choice all the time lol.
I am on my third play through. By the time you get companion's legendary gear and get your gear's legendary affixes, what is there left to do with an "end game" build? Arena? That's fun for about three rounds. Here's hoping for a NG+ mode as by the time you get your build finalized, the credits are rolling.
i dont see anyone say this but under the enchant tab in the workshop in the light house there is an option to put enchantments on your abilities as well
I tested using Bleeeding Shard instead ring of the Opal Ring and the result is very good. Considering You have skill to auto-apply bleeding and also using the Cordova's Toothpick as main weapon
This build and gameplay makes me wanna make a new save to start over. I've played about 13 hours right now as a mage. But i've made a lot of "mistakes" that are irreversible and now i have to live with all the missed loot and opportunities, or start over. Cheers for this video!
I use a variation of this build with exploding daggers instead of the turret and a bit more focus on melee. There’s a sword d that consumes arrows for bonus damage which is awesome if you have 22 arrows. First I thought I won’t have fun without the turret, but that thing always gets destroyed too fast and I am always down for more explosions, that’s why I use the daggers.
@ It’s called “Audacity” the effect states: “Each Sword attack consumes an Arrow and grants 50% bonus damage” It deals 365 physical damage and 522 stagger. So it should deal 547 dmg when consuming an arrow.
Please explain: 1) Do character have X% crit chance? If so how do I increase crit chance? 2) What is the most noob friendly way to score a crit? 3) Do you auto hit weak points? 4) Where is the STATS screen? I wanna see my stats
1) no, crits are made on weak points, the only stats you have is crit damage (in my experience, might be wrong) 2) hit the head or, on big bosses, the purple glowing areas (often on paws for dragons) 3) no, you can somehow hipfire towards weak points tho, but you still have to kinda aim it 4) Select - Character - R3 | inventory - H Hope this helps
I have followed this build very closely. I'm playing on nightmare and cannot get past some of the high dragon battles. In general, I find I have almost no time to aim and fire my bow. I could improve my dodging, but other than that, my game play is okay. I'm level 45 and use the companions you suggest with the gear and enchantments you suggest. What am I doing wrong?
Lords of Fortune makes the most sense for this, and it’s connected to the lords of fortune branch of the rogue tree. I did this on a Antivan Crow character though, except I went into melee combat more than range
So the one thing I changed and I think its for the better is the graven ring. Ranged damage is nice but since your making a play on missing health the brass bandage imo is better for the second ring slot. Extra health, 20% damage while at low health and up to 50% damage based on missing health. Again I didn't run numbers but it feels a touch better.
Where the hell do i find the other 2 rings? I found brass bandages in Arlathan Forest western part, and other in lords of fortune level 4 store. Still missing 2 and i'm 95% game completion.
I used my build and merged it with this one to make a high crit high dps tool and dot build, when i pilfer i throw bees and bleed ,constant bleed/lighting/necro/bees dots while my neive and taash ice and fire the enemy its so nasty.
I like a lot in the build. But I am not one that likes to play on low health to gain the extra damage. But there is still a lot of synergy and damage to be had without going down that road. Also, it seems to me the Saboteur build seem even more focused on Ranged Bow attacks than "Veilranger". One thing I like about that spec is that you could technically have a very varied build. With that I mean if you do duelist, you are basically so focused on blades and Melee that everything else is an afterthought. Same could be to a little extent with Veilranger if focusing on bow. But with Saboteur you can do dual wield attacks, and a lot of Bow attacks but also have some fun "tool/trap" attacks like the trap bomb and turret. I might go for saboteur before veilranger. Well the beauty is you can always respec at any time so I will try out lots of things as soon as I gain a lot of skill points.
There's a passive skill at the top of the rogue tree that gives 10% lifestyle from tool ability damage. You could use this to ignore the life drain from Maw and still basically be immortal as long as your turret is up. You'll lose the low health bonus damage, but if you want something safer, that could work.
Is this viable still without using the armor that makes stuff cost health for damage? Or was it a weapon, I forget. Either way will it still work just fine?
Theres a bow that shoots 3 arrows per shot and combos with the sabo splinter arrow making shrapnel/shotgun shots its hilariously op Edit. I see tou got that bow too 😂😂😂
I haven't played this build but generally item upgrades are very spread out across the game. A lot are dependent on progressing through companion/story/side quests and having new areas open up to access new chests. Open literally every chest you see and have access to. Some item upgrades are also tied to faction ranks... For instance you can't get the Mage's Gambit orb for the Mage to max unless you level the Shadow Dragons to rank 4 as that's where one of the upgrades is. Hopefully at some point someone will post a database of where every upgrade for items are.
The bonuses are very small, so go with the one you like the theme of the most. Though Veil Jumpers if you want to min max, since crits is your focus here.
@stiphcurry4747 don't recommend nightmare up front honestly. Will be frustrating unless you know the game a bit. Rogue will have an easier time because they can abuse range a bit easier
I think it might be the HRT, but my futanari gendermancer build is feeling rather impotent. I want to jump into every fray at the dogging park but the enemies keep exposing me to HIV. Is there some combination of medications I can take to PREP myself for combat and come in swinging a rock-hard weapon?
Okay I laughed out loud to this one. To answer your question: there is no combination of meds to keep you safe. Though, like Mr Burns, the best way to stay alive is to catch everything. They'll cancle each other out and you'll be the most virile slut at the dogging park.
Neve deserves a shoutout as a companion too since like Emmerich, she can auto-apply Weakness and she can freeze with Detonations.
Might try this build in play-through 2. Loving the warrior right now. Slowly going into the champion path but it’s still too early to tell what I will settle with.

I tested using Bleeeding Shard instead ring of the Opal Ring and the result is very good. Considering You have skill to auto-apply bleeding and also using the Cordova's Toothpick as main weapon
I think this is my favorite Rogue build. Definitely playing a saboteur for my next build.
This is the Han Solo build, always going for the "funny" response in dialogue

@@ruairidhkoch7875 not always. There are options for that but it's not a guaranteed critical
I will be using my daggers quite a bit too with this build. Animations are just too fun not to. Will be a fun mix of melee, ranged and traps.
This...this looks like a lot of fun. It's basically Varrick 2.0 (and I wish we could use a crossbow) I'd likely go with a bit more blade focus.
Should check out the warrior crit/bleed build. You can spam aoe 9999s, it's insane.

Can you explain the combo System so why you doing only double combo over triple
