    Lyrics:
When I was young I was the nicest guy I knew
I thought I was the chosen one
But time went by and I found out a thing or two
My shine wore off as time wore on
I thought that I was living out the perfect life
But in the lonely hours when the truth begins to bite
I thought about the times when I turned my back & stalled
I ain't no nice guy after all
When I was young I was the only game in town
I thought I had it down for sure,
But time went by and I was lost in what I found
The reasons blurred, the way unsure
I thought that I was living life the only way
But as I saw that life was more than day to day
I turned around, I read the writing on the wall
I ain't no nice guy after all
I ain't no nice guy after all
In all the years you spend between your birth and death
You find there's lots of times you should have saved your breath
It comes as quite a shock when that trip leads to fall

Totally, Lemmy had so much life experience, thats what makes people good, and they still can appear cold to irrelevant matters. Lemmy was strongly emphatic, where others saw a bunch of losers he would see interesting people and ask them to be in his next music video. He connected directly with real people, not bankers or lawyers but real regular people.

Actually lemmy wrote this. In his book ozzy wanted the song and lemmy said no but said they could do it together. Sad thing is this song was expected to be high on the charts but the radio stations or record company fucked him over and only played on a few stations in the middle of the night

    • @mjh5437

The song was written by both of them...Lem wrote only the first verse alone...the rest of the verses and the bridge and the chorus were written together with Ozzy.....The full details are here: genius.com/Motorhead-i-aint-no-nice-guy-lyrics

Ozzy fired Lemmy. I heard him say it. Lemmy, that is. I Shook his hand. Didn't get to hear them play that night but that made up for it. This song is appropriate.

I can relate to this song, word for word. As if all I've learned how to live as I've gotten older is how to pull a trigger, either with my stalls, words, jinx games, attitude, knowledge, or whatever kind of trouble I can fix on somebody. Whatever that is, in the end, I don't care how much of a snowflake someone is, my friends, family and my community mean the world to me.

I think I grew up at the perfect time for music. Born in the 70s I was on the edge of classic rock and new rock. Now I'm older and all these legends are dieing or can't perform anymore. I fear we will never have music like that anymore.
