Man that shit is impressive hahaha. Whenever I see these videos of ridiculously powerful Audi's I always wonder what the heck they are using for gearboxes? They are all manual and they get treated REALLY hard lol
+Heath van der Waerden I can only answer for this Audi, my brother is using a lot of different gearboxes. mostly Audi S4 2,7 BiTurbo but they all break down eventuelly. right now he is running almost 900whp (so thats a lot more then this video) so too the next season he is building a dog box :)
@@cyrlaxis the only reliable audi gearboxs is the 6speed Getrag from 1gen rs4 and S4 . ( the ONLY difference beeing shorter 3th and 4th gear in rs4 box ) Rs4 6speed getrag Gear ratios: 1st: 3.500, 2nd: 1.889, 3rd: 1.320, 4th: 1.034, 5th: 0.806, 6th: 0.684 S4 6speed getrag Gear ratios: 1st: 3.500, 2nd: 1.889, 3rd: 1.231, 4th: 0.967, 5th: 0.806, 6th: 0.684 with abusing them they never last no mather what you do but Selholm makes some custom CNC internalls for those boxes and fully Sequensial conversions for them aswell , but costs a foot and a arm )
@@Ethylmorph he got sponsored by a company that built custom dogbox for the car instead and they held up for the final power of 980 awhp, he was featured a couple of times in 1320 video :)
@@cyrlaxis yea truely helps a fuckton with a propper sequential box or just a mechanical dogbox thats buildt for the power , but you and i both know that those boxes cost more then the rest of the car :P does the car still live is the question tho ? guessing this is a swedish build so seeing how old it is i can bet its almost ended its life in parts or was sold to norway for beating around rudskogen ? :p
@@Ethylmorph yeah but since he got sponsored he got them for free, otherwise yeah they cost a hefty sum 😅 As far as i know the car lives on in sweden, the build was completely by my brother, it had a couple of engines over the years, if you want you can check his instagram for more race car builds (jsracecars_custom)
