Same problem in everywhere in the world, bad repair attempts and then problem occours.it's good that you are working on both electronic and mechanic repairments.thanks for that video and informations about trouble codes.Best Regards.
Good video as usual. One thing I would say is you were fortunate that the Autel showed the bad sensor waveform. I've had 0778 code, or whatever, and calibration not work because of the tiniest glitches you could imagine. VCDS scope feature usually shows them but sometimes only properly scoping the sensors shows the problem. That's the reason the car needs driving in a straight line for a while, so the computer knows there are no glitches in the wheel speed signals. Until then it instructs the under wheel computer (or if the angle sensor is in the rack and connects straight to the ABS pump it just disregards it) to kill one of the 5v feeds to the steering angle sensor (there are 2, one for transmit IRs and other to the receive IRs - can't remember which one it kills but 7 diodes for each and 2 supplies, 10 pins). This is an underhand way of doing it by VW. There is no explanation anywhere of why the calibration fails - especially when sometimes there are no codes. And the steering to the left then right procedure for the calibration is done right to left to set the limits. Don't you just love German cars 😁.

it looks like the front brake pads are fitted with the inside pad on the out side as it has the metal location strips on the outside, these usually fit inside the caliper piston... i assume this is why the brake pad wear indicator is not attached as the wear indicator wire is fitted to the inside pad .. and now the wire will not reach.. total bodge up and the owner should be advised not to try to fix the car as they have no mechanical knowledge and could lead to an accident..
On this A3, the outer pad also has the metal clips... the clips are fitted on both pads... I never touched the pads, and you are now the second person mentioning that... so I did a bit of research, and quickly fount that information... So, looks like the pads where installed correctly... What you mean it doesn't scan? Without a scan it can be a bit difficult to get any clues... But might worth go through what has been touched during the work done... Just to make sure everything is plugged in etc... Thank you for watching!
Why would someone do such a hack job a speed sensor isn't expensive and for a few pounds more comes with the brake pads and why does it beep is it because the scanner is communication with ABS module
I would have checked the other 2 wheel sensors - chances are the same idiot has done the same thing to them as well. And he'll be back soon for injectors, dragging the last dregs of fuel complete with crap out of the tank :)

I am using Autel. The Vw steering angle sensor could not be calibrated to the zero position. Have you ever tried Wv calibration with Autel? thanks.
Yes... have considered a bad sensor?
My Audi had loads of fault codes because the rear pads needed to.be changed I replaced them and they all went away. I find one issue on an Audi sensor can bring up loads of unrelated fault codes. Not just old Audis either same with my friends 2015 a3.I won't be buying another one.
Having issue the vw tiguan here
Nice one bro
Thanks!

Hello friend, I have a polo 9n3 1.2 12v, it happens that when I'm driving at least once a week an abs, steering, airbag warning appears... I turn off the car and everything returns to normal. I detected error P0600. I've seen the fuses, new battery, alternator charging 100%, I don't understand why🙄
Is that error code on yhe engine ecu?
👍👍👍
@@LMAutoRepairs Yes is the only error that appears on the p0600 scanner. I turn off the engine, turn it back on and the steering light disappears, they only come back after 2/3 days...
Any codes on the ABS or on any other modules?
@@LMAutoRepairs Thanks, I'll check this out better...😅
Muito bom trabalho
Obrigado!

@@LMAutoRepairs IT a duosensor under seat ?:)
Can i have your contact need you to work on my audi similar issue
it looks like the front brake pads are fitted with the inside pad on the out side as it has the metal location strips on the outside, these usually fit inside the caliper piston... i assume this is why the brake pad wear indicator is not attached as the wear indicator wire is fitted to the inside pad .. and now the wire will not reach.. total bodge up and the owner should be advised not to try to fix the car as they have no mechanical knowledge and could lead to an accident..
On this A3, the outer pad also has the metal clips... the clips are fitted on both pads...
I never touched the pads, and you are now the second person mentioning that... so I did a bit of research, and quickly fount that information...
So, looks like the pads where installed correctly...

My A3 3.2 Quattro has a ESP fault doesn’t scan and Quattro isn’t working on power on the front wheels. Also to mention I just got the rear hub bearing done and it happened a couple weeks after. Anybody body has any advice ? Thank you in advanced
What you mean it doesn't scan?
Without a scan it can be a bit difficult to get any clues...
But might worth go through what has been touched during the work done... Just to make sure everything is plugged in etc...

Why would someone do such a hack job a speed sensor isn't expensive and for a few pounds more comes with the brake pads and why does it beep is it because the scanner is communication with ABS module
Yes... some cars don't do nothing... some just flash the lights... audi also beeps...🤷♂️

I would have checked the other 2 wheel sensors - chances are the same idiot has done the same thing to them as well. And he'll be back soon for injectors, dragging the last dregs of fuel complete with crap out of the tank :)
Hope not... nearly 1 year an did not came back... so looks promising...🤞🤣

Ciekawy film. Mój zdechł na akumulatorze a po naładowaniu pokazał błąd Esp. Na taniej diagnostyce nic nie wychodzi. Sprawdzę jeszcze może jakieś wykresy. Co może być?
