Though I apologise for being late I am pleased to see Notes receiving more exposure. Gun God and his tales should be recorded by the throne of heroes. The slayer of Type Venus is truly admirable.
Would Alaya and the Throne even exist at that point in time? Considering all humans besides Gun God are dead, there's not exactly any "collective unconscious" of humanity anymore.

Ado Edem could almost certainly defeat any Servant, given that he killed a Type, but that's probably an exception to the rule.
I personally prefer Tsuki no Sango's gentler demise. While Notes is an interesting setting it is ultimately a dead end just like Tsuki no Sango, Gilgamesh stated that the ultimate destiny of humanity was to leave Gaia and explore the stars so a future sci-fi entry where humanity manages to do so would be interesting though.

In all seriousness though, I too really love Tsuki No Sango, while the world is kind of depressing, it very peaceful and beautiful in it's own way. I find it interesting that a lot of the art depicts "gun god" as looking a lot like Kiritsugu (and of course being a person who'd generally be considered pretty weak in a society of magic users were it not for a reputation built on mercenary killings and the use of a really powerful handgun) while "V/V" looks like Irisviel with blond hair and wings...
Hell yes! I love Notes and Gun God, it's awesome to see someone actually talk about them! It'd be interesting if you could talk about Kiri Nanaya at some point too, since it seems Kiritsugu was a hybrid of Kiri's and Gun God's.
Friendly reminder that Arc is not actually a type, she is a candidate for Ultimate One. Thats why her other title is Archetype Earth, instead of Type Earth or Type Gaia.
It makes me extremely happy that one of last year's summer servants had a reference to Ado Edem In Its NP, It makes me have faith that Nasu still hasn't forgotten Notes and his older series and gives me hope for some kind of Notes storyline in tthe future
That wasn't the only reference, even her CE and her lore are notes references, she's literally a walking embodiment of "we still remember Notes guys". We're possibly getting notes related stuff in the new lostbelt, a lot of info has been pointing to it.

I had quite some fun making video to make as I was able to share everyone the small details of Notes that aren't fully explained due to how short the story is. I plan to do at least 3 more TMCS for Notes in the future, but that'll be during then, the future. For now though, I'm going to go to the other apocalyptic Nasu work that literally nobody I know openly talks about (despite it being quite good). PS. Thanks again to Adequate for drawing Gun God, it was fantastic.
@@EbullientSMP Well it's type moon it's just not confirmed to be connected to the nasuverse. The only connections are Daemons and possession and Daemon arm users. And those are just shared concepts like a living planet even though they work almost identically in both universes
I'm glad characters like gun god exist in the nasuverse because the one thing I don't like about it is how most of the time for a character to actually be relevant during the fight scenes they have to be born to some special family that gives them superpowers that ordinary people don't have access to so I'm glad characters like gun God exist to show that normal people can actually be relevant to the fight scenes instead of having to constantly either stay out of the fights or be saved by people much stronger than them.
Nice to see other nasu works. Ive been looking at older stories he told. Some did characters a great way that had characters i wanted to see. So ill keep looking back on his older works

Do believe we will see a large alien outworldy story soon with lost belt with tons of the hints with helena and even one master being a alien and his depth being thr most dangerous in all of the lost belts. Just curious as I've been seeing naau does like a few aliens in his stories and planets with the type system.
@@EbullientSMP I would love to see that. But I think the alien story will be the ex lost belt from the guy with pointy ears and he will betray the other keepers as they are hired enemies. I also think helena will play a major role in this story with rhe mahatmas anf her knowledge coming into play. We coule even see her get some skill upgrades to lower her cool down on skills to make her more useable. I loved using her hut she needs lower cooldowns to be a mini waver hans combo

Remember when this was actually true, before Sion literally said black barrel wouldn’t work on something from space? In the beginning of FGO’s LB 5.5 Heiankyo chapter, mash asks why she can’t just shoot the foreign god with black barrel. Then Sion literally says aliens are on a different level of common sense and reason, so they would need something actually capable of killing planetary beings. Also reminder that gun god literally dug up black barrel in the atlasia area, implying atlas institute invented it and Sion literally swam in Atlas’s pool of knowledge on top of her father being the head of atlas institute, so its safe to say she’s an expert there.
Wasn't the one that Mash was given a copy? Maybe it functioned worse than the original, while the one godo dug up was the original. Or perhaps because Notes takes place extremely gar in the future its effectiveness was greatly increased
