- We wake up in the mountains after a long drive yesterday. Starting the day right by making breakfast and brewing some fresh coffee. Morning coffe outside is always a win. After we have packed down we continue on our journey west and with some better weather we finally get the views we have been waiting for. What an great start to an epic day.
Enjoy and hit me up with a comment to let me know what you think about the video or if you have any questions. Best, Simon.

How about those views? 😱😱 Mind blown. 🏔🇳🇴 Why I love #overlandinginnorway
I Love Land Rover.
Me too. Nothing like it even though there is some super cool brands out there. 🙂
Trucking around in such a beautiful country in Land Rovers no less. Does it get any better?
No.
Hehe, I don't think so. 🙂🙂 I am definitely at peace when I'm out on these trips. 👍
Here it is, the real Northern Europe!
For sure. Mind was blown, after driving down Romsdalen. 👍🙂
@@LandRoverDrive for what beauty you showed, it was worth it!
Thanks man, appreciate it. 🙂
Good morning, my kids and I enjoying our morning with yours morning 😁
👍😁 Makes me glad to hear. I plan to bring the kids on a trip or two next year. Mornings are the best, and especially Sunday morning. ☕️🤗 No plans, only family time. 👌
Morning , Simon :-) Well , I`m not so early today ,last nights bear and whisky must take the blame :-)
Video is goodgood !
Better late than never. 👍😁 Sound like you had a good night and that’s what’s important. 😉 Hope your Sunday is kind to you, with all the whiskey in mind. 😅
@@LandRoverDrive There is nothing wrong with the whisky :-)
Hehehe
gorgeous, drone shooting fairytale landscapes I appreciate great 😀👍🚙 cheers 🥂🇸🇯
Thanks man, glad you liked it. The views are amazing and the videos don’t do it justice. 👍😁
I really enjoy your video. It makes me feel like buying a LR and then explore my country. Merry Christmas! Greeting from Canada.
Hey man and thank you soo much. Glad my videos are inspiring, means I'm doing something right. 🙂 I hope you are well in Canada and have a Merry Christmas too. BTW. Canada looks way epic, would like to go there at some point.
Lovely to watch! Cheers 👍🏻
🤙 Sweet, glad you liked it. Was a great part to drive and I think I need to go back there at some point and do some side roads.
Another great video chaps, the scenery is spectacular, and you make me want to buy a drone haha.
Go for it! It's really hard to get it all on film, the drone flying is hard by it self, getting smooth video is even worse. But I'm finally getting the hang of it so starting to look pretty good. Also the drone give so much overview for you guys watching. More drone shots in the next one, which is comign soon. 👍🙂
@@LandRoverDrive I'll look forward to that!
👍
Stunning scenery guys !
🏔🇳🇴 It’s great and I’m glad we got som clear weather so I could capture some of it on film. 😉 There’s so much to see and to experience. 👍😁
12.3c is the perfect temperature? ❄️🙈 Lol. I reckon 26c is. ☀️ Good drive guys. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏻🙏🏽🙏🏽🦘🦘🦘
26*C ....... Than I'm out of there.. No, but for sleeping at night. 5-10*C is perfect. 15-20*C is my perfect morning temp. Could do 26*C in the evening when there is water around. 😅 Like on my 24 hour solo trip. Best swim I have had in years. 👌
Bonjour, magnifique vidéo j'ai aussi un land 109 en Algérie, c'est le meilleur 4x4 au monde, très beau paysage super bivouac, welcome to Algeria.
109 is awesome. 👍 Algeria is a long drive from Norway. :) Not sure we will drive that far south but thanks for the welcome. 🙂
Fantastiske bilder! 😎 Hilsen fra Nederland.
👍 Glad you like the video. Hope you are safe in the Netherlands. You should check the next one, it’s even better. 🏔🇳🇴👌 And hit that notification bell so you don’t miss out of future videos. 😉
Lovely place, excellent filming
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you so much for watching. Remember to subscribe if you haven't yet. More to come soon. 👍🙂
Cracking vlog buddy thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for letting me know. Lot's of other videos on the channel from us traveling. 👍🙂
The mountains towards the end are epic! Nice to view a different part of the world through your travels👍🏼Looks like you have a comfortable light camping setup, have you every measured the weight of your defender when fully loaded with camping gear, fuel, food etc?
Yeah we had to make a stop, could not let it all pass by without getting the time to soak it all up. And yeah, I travel pretty light and basic. Has worked good so far but I have not checked the weight. Don't think the gear I bring is to heavy, maybe only talking about 200kg here, with everything included. The defender is about 2000kg with fuel. So will be under 2500kg at least. Compared to my Discovery which is about 2700kg with a full tank.
I don't want to be traveling with to much weight as we often go a bit off-road. But with this weight in I feel the suspension is perfectly set up. Not hard and not to soft. 🙂👍
hallo guys stay health and safe
Thank you and the same right back at you! 👍🙂
Amazing how close your camp were to the place Are and I had camp in 2015! :)
Hahaha, should maybe have called you in the middle of the night. 😂😂 Or maybe next time you will be with us? 😉
@@LandRoverDrive Next time! ;)
Good to hear! 👍
Any chance you could add subtitles to the radio chat? (assuming it is family friendly haha) 🙏 Excellent vid as always 👍
I think all is family friendly. I haven't had the time to translate it. I try to repeat the norwegian stuff after we are done talking so you don't miss out. Will try to get the subtitles going if I can find the time. 🙂 Good of you to let me know that you think it's missing. If not it will never happen I guess. 😉
Simon, one question off the topic.
I am in the market to buy Volvo c303. I have this crazy idea to have it as my primary vehicle or if you prefer- daily drive.
So the question is how can I find one? What is the best way? What would you do?
Depend I guess where you are buing it from. If your looking for one in Norway you can use FINN dot NO and for Sweden you can use BLOCKET dot SE to search. It's often called "Volvo felt" or just "Valp" in Norway. Not sure about Sweden though. There is probably a forum some where for Volvo. It's a good car and I seen a couple rigged for overlanding.
Amazing! You might need bigger table,,,,?
You are right! I'm thinking of getting one but not sure which one and how big and if I was going to make one my self. 😀
Hi Mate
What tires size is that blue defender ?
Cheers
Jakub P.
Hey, they are 33” tires. 255/85R16 to be more precise. 👍 Best size for an original Defender I think. No rubbing and just fits on full flex. Will do a video about them after this series is done. 👍😁 Best, Simon.
What is the music at 13:00? Amazing!
Hey and sorry but don't remember. So many songs ago. :) try using the sasham app or what's it call. It can look up songs. :)
