Thanks for an interesting and different experience. We’re lucky in less developed countries like 🇿🇦 and our neighbouring countries to still be able to do drives like this on dirt roads with no tar/bitumen in sight. In the earlier days of driving in Lesotho, our mountain kingdom, you got your wheels wet by having to drive through every river you came to, and at times in the rainy season the level was too high to drive through. And yet you’d come across the locals driving in old two wheel drive vehicles.
You are very welcome Rob. 👍🙂 It's quite different going overlanding here than down there. I have seen a lot of videos from South Africa and we are more than a little inspired by the roads you got down there. Here we need to look for dirt roads. Hello Simon and Merry Christmas to you, your family and friends. I finally got around to watching this 4 part series. That was a lot of driving to get to the Trollstigen Kafe but worth it. That is quite a road going up the valley. I checked it out on Google Maps and there are quite a few photos. Did you leave from Trondheim? You could take the E39 next time and come down from the North. Looks like there would be some ferry rides. All the best for 2021 and keep showing us scenic Norway. Cheers, Gordon
