Who knows... but to be very honest, I'm not interested in doing it right now. First want to focus on doing some builds of my own that I've been thinking of!

That makes me even 10x more excited for this game than I was previously! Thank you so much for your thorough showcasing Silv!
Your video is such a blessing. It answered so many questions I still had and my last doubts about dark rides are gone. The game will be a blast. Thank you!
Would've loved to see the Paratrooper, Twister, Power Moves or Eagle back in this game. Also would've loved to see a Mondial Top Scan, Shake and a Fabbri or KMG Booster among the flat rides but instead we got 2 more swings that are similar to the hammer swing. I really hope they'll add these rides later, albeit through a DLC
The custom animatronic pieces excite me the most. The creativity is going to be ENDLESS! Thanks so much for showcasing everything. This must have taken a very long time. Cheers Silv

This game is a winner!! Frontier is the BEST game development company in the world! I pre-ordered the Deluxe version (NZ$92.99 on Steam for PC). I have a high end custom desktop PC which plays PC1 very well in 4k maxed settings. Ahhh water parks, water slides, pools, new rides... what a treat!!
Really good amount of coatsers and flat rides. However I'm a bit dissapointed in the unnecessary large footprints of the coaster stations and flatrides. We'll basicly have to play with a no-clip option to make anything realistic...
@@ThrillsofColdplay Really? Just look at the first one already: 1) The boat is less than a third of the length of the station 2) The gates don't allign with the seats 3) The gates allow for like 6 people to queu, even though only one person will be able to sit on a row 4) The exit is at least double the width it should be 5) ... How can that not bother you? I'ld even prefer the stations to be normal straight track pieces with a walkway, entrance and exit like in RCT.
I think the idea behind the station size is to minimize the number of sizes to make blueprints of coaster stations more viable for use with any coaster. And nothing really stopping a DLC or an update for coaster stations down the road....

I've realised something, where is the B&M Sitdown (F25) that was showcased in the trailers? You know the one where they showcased the train editor and turned it into a submarine. I wonder if they removed it because it was still themed to the mustang car.
Thank you for this. I’m excited about the 2m x 4m wall pieces. You mentioned the kerbs. Many people don’t realize that you can use the kerbs to stop guests from going in certain places or stop them from walking into scenery by placing them in them or just under them. It's a bit of a tug-of-war between the business and consumer interests on it. Frontier are coming off the money sink of developing the game and, having laid down all this new engine work, the easiest thing for them to create as quick DLC is more scenery items. Allowing for community-created assets on release would effectively be them giving up that money, which would be a wonderful thing for them to do, but it's hard to justify for them. The compromise on PC1 was for them to put out some premium asset packs for a while, but to later give the game fully over to the community with the Thememaker's Toolkit. That's all to say: I don't see any reason why they wouldn't follow a similar pattern here, i.e. some initial DLC offerings with new assets, and then adding full community modding support as they move onto the next marquee release. Great insight, thanks for sharing! My comment was referring to ride customizability - in that sense it's a great choice for them, it gives players a chance to build things for other players to easily use in their park and expand the amount of ride choices, without affecting their ability to sell DLC much.
Seeing all of this makes me want to play but also wait a few days for stuff to be uploaded to the workshop as it also looks very overwhelming, in a good way.

True. I think this is an underrated nuance to the common complaint that they just copied things over. It's like getting a bunch of PlanCo 1 DLC's and the base game in one go.
Any ideas on how I can play this on Mac? I’m not very computer savvy and really struggling to find an option that doesn’t involve buying a whole new pc
I gotta ask, as someone who mostly plays the sandbox mode and doesn't care as much about the management features: is there toggles in the settings to disable all the water filtration and staff management mechanics, as well as the similar toggles which were also in pc1? I don't know if I'd want to deal with those so it would be really annoying if I couldn't

@@Silvarret all good^^ and thanks for the quick answer. Although it sounds a bit disappointing for me. Nonetheless it will be an awesome sequel i believe
I consider this Planet Coaster 1.24 rather than a true sequel, but I'm cool with that. Frontier aren't a huge studio. I did worry a little that the water rides would come at the cost of an improvement in the core game, glad to see that's not the case. I’m honestly disappointed in the lack of humanoid or creature animatronics. With the new lighting engine, you’d think they would have given us more to work with for dark rides. Hopefully we’ll get more in future DLCs and updates. However, those moving platforms that you can attach objects to is a game changer! That unlock so much potential, it’s just too bad there’s not a lot of animated figures to work with.
Thanks for this vid ! Are you sure its the final version tho? We’ve previously seen that they fixed the problem of short slide parts, in the video its seems the problem is still here 🤔 Other than this it looks absolutely stunning 😍
The thing thats missing 1: Some traditional flatrides. 2: Not alot themes. were are themes like SFiction-Western-Snow-Desert etc.... 3: apart from the dragon, no kiddie / Junior coasters. Alot of coasters though....
Wow I can't believe they got rid of the Vekoma SLC but kept the Giant Inverted Boomerang... That seems so strange to omit the SLC and keep a coaster that very few were ever made...
I've actually been chipping away at it in the meantime. Mostly doing indoor stuff. I want to finish it to the point where I can do a cinematic video of it for sure!
So impressive that this is base game, can’t wait to see all the stuff that is added over time
I think this is a good start! Can't forget the hopefully future (free) updates and DLCs will add more and/or change things.
This does include the pre-order and deluxe bonus keep in mind. :)
How can you be impressed when they have removed security
The fact the EVERYTHING is recolor-able is absolutely huge. No more "i wish this piece was more like this other piece"

Sadly the same can't be said about all rocks and all trees. Just to get that different rock type and tree type.

However, those moving platforms that you can attach objects to is a game changer! That unlock so much potential, it’s just too bad there’s not a lot of animated figures to work with.
Is the steam boat only in the “flume” and not able to be in open waters like PlanCo1?
Thanks for this vid ! Are you sure its the final version tho? We’ve previously seen that they fixed the problem of short slide parts, in the video its seems the problem is still here 🤔
Other than this it looks absolutely stunning 😍
thank you i think i am coming back to planet coaster!
Cool!!
I just can't believe we still don't have the RMC Raptor, the Intamin LSM, or the Mack Xtreme Spinner.
I'm most bummed about the RMC Raptor! The others are decently doable by disabling track limits/maybe modding.
The thing thats missing
1: Some traditional flatrides.
2: Not alot themes. were are themes like SFiction-Western-Snow-Desert etc....
3: apart from the dragon, no kiddie / Junior coasters.
Alot of coasters though....
What are the minimum requirements needed for your PC to play this? Memory, ram, etc. Seems like it would need quite a bit for those graphics .
Wow I can't believe they got rid of the Vekoma SLC but kept the Giant Inverted Boomerang... That seems so strange to omit the SLC and keep a coaster that very few were ever made...
Any plans of finishing up Aerobats?
I've actually been chipping away at it in the meantime. Mostly doing indoor stuff. I want to finish it to the point where I can do a cinematic video of it for sure!
Thank you for the showcase!! RIP Fox Street coffee v_v great to see the QOL and new assets coming in from Planet Zoo too
Should I buy it on PC or PS?
