If you get the lily pollen on your clothing, get a piece of tape (I usually grab the masking tape but any will do) & using the sticky side, dab at the pollen. Works like a charm! I knew rubbing it with your hand would set it, but never knew why. Thanks for that information.

Pollinator/Lily Removal: I do this in the kitchen sink, lined with paper towels: I turn the Lily upside down and Snip the thingies out with a small garden clipper, one I use in the kitchen to cut fresh cuts on stems of floral bouquets...

Had to laugh with myself , when you mentioned the windmill cookies! When I was growing up, we baked most of our cookies. But, periodically my Mother would buy the “ windmill cookies” all 5 kids ,disliked them. Mother was assured that,when she poured herself a cup of coffee,after a long day of chores,that there would be a cookie left for her 😂 love all your new thrifted fines!
I'm not sure what windmill cookies you are referring to, but these are from Trader Joe's. They are made with almond flour and taste like a shortbread cookie. They are absolutely delicious!!

I love the look of pastries and cookies and muffins under domes and cloches and in beautiful jars... but I don't have the people you have in your home.... and I can't be trusted just to look at them! So I have one large glass pedestal dome with a wooden finial and base with faux muffins. The look without the calories or temptation! I would definitely not be able to pass up those windmill cookies! Those are one of my favorites! I love the color palette of the lilies. The pinks and purples are what I gravitate to. I do love Leah's scarf tie. I have always thought a scarf and watch elevate any outfit. Also her puffy sleeve top is gorgeous!

It is suggested to get adhesive tape and use it to remove the pollen, a cloth might work but also can cause smudging the pollen. Best to remove the pollen from the flower just after opening so the pollen does not become 'powdery'. Yes, just use a tissue, surround the pollen and pull away, that's the best way!

Thank you, Leah, for the scarf tying demonstration. I have a number of square scarves, but never could figure out a fashionable way to wear them. So thank you! Here's a tip about Mosquito Bits. I initially discovered them on Linda's channel, but I also learned a more effective way to deal with any gnat eggs in the soil. Just make a solution with about a tespoon of Mosquito Bits and a quart of water. Mix it up and let it sit overnight. I also sprinkle a few of the bits on the soil. It really does the job!
Could you please consider next time having your books in a book jacket glossy cover. I know you mentioned that the cover was intentionally made the way you chose but I think it would be optional with a jacket.
Your lily vignette is gorgeous with all the elevated glassware. I grow stargazer lilies in my OKC garden and it's always a joy when they bloom in the summer.

I worked for a time at a florist and to remove the pollen that we'd sometimes get on our clothes from the Stargazer lilies, we'd use a chenille stem (pipe cleaner) and just barely brush it over the pollen. The key is to use a VERY light touch, else you'll risk smearing it. Works every time.
