To reserve an individual campsite, please visit us at Camping & Environmental Education and click "Online Camping Reservations."
Group campsites and pavilions can be reserved by emailing KellyCamping@ocfl.net. Please provide your name, contact number and dates for your reservation and someone from our office will contact you within 24 hours of your request. Please remember campsites and pavilions are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and full payment is required.
Park Admission Fee: $3 per vehicle for 1-2 people; $5 per vehicle for 3-8 people; and $1 for additional person/walk-ins/motorcycles/bikes. No pets and no alcohol.
Tubing on Rock Springs
Kelly Park features a free-flowing natural spring (68 degrees year round), full-service concession, picnic pavilions and playground. Tube rentals are available from vendors outside the park; guests may bring their own pool noodles or floats that must be less than five feet in length or width. The waterfront closes one hour prior to park closing. During the summer, inclement weather can affect park operations; for the safety of our guests, the swim area will be closed if a storm produces lightning.

This is where I was raised. I'm a native rockspringian🌞 My mom even used to bathe in the springs & I used to watch my uncle and cousin go INTO the cave and chill up inside where there are air pockets. Obviously this was many many years ago.
Crazy that as I was typing that you started talking about your buddies doing the same thing! I have to wonder if we are near the same age and possibly knew each other at one time. I'm 41, Tim & I also went to apopka middle and high school. Btw, if you didn't recognize my profile pic I came here from your RixFlix channel. My 3 girls and I have been watching for awhile. We've chatted with you a couple times at universal. I thought you seemed familiar but never knew you also grew up here.

Another tip on the goggles. Use baby shampoo - single drop on each side. Easier on your eyes if you do not get it all out. Odd to see Rick without his normal chapeau but I really like the Jurassic Park hat too.

Yaaay, we are so excited to head to Rock Springs this weekend! We are S Florida locals, but we try to visit a new spring whenever we go camping during spring break with the kiddos. They had a choice between Disney and camping ... they chose camping, which I love so much! 🏕 Thank you for this great video tour.

We throughly enjoyed watching your video of Rock Springs. We were narrowing our choose down from Rainbow Springs or Rock Springs. We have done rainbow Springs a couple times but it’s a little bit further from us in Saint Augustine to go to plus it’s either two hour or a four hour float and we just didn’t want to do that this weekend. So we chose Rocksprings based on your video you did a great job on that video lots of information for us. I think we’re going to get there early on Monday July 5th, we will be there when it opens. We have our own tubes so no need to rent them. Thank you again for sharing this great video

I’ve been going there since I was a kid, we always camped there a few times a year, we ALWAYS saw deer, raccoons, and black bears multiple times!
One of the last times we camped there (about 6-7 years ago) the park had just closed and we were walking back from the springs to the campground thru the parking lot and three bears ran out. We had to stand in the middle of the parking lot and wait for them to scavenge thru the trash and leave.
But we never had any problems at the camp sites. Some of my favorite memories from being a kid.

@@ItalianCutii09 the kind we bought from Dick’s Sporting Goods store (see road trip “episode zero”) was the best we ever used. It has a valve that covers the top of the tube so water won’t go in it and a release valve at the bottom.

nice video, the springs were under construction when I visited in late 2020 so I could only visit Wekiwa springs which was amazing just down the road and one of the first things I saw (only because you mentioned never seeing a bear) within 5 minutes on the board walk was a baby black bear running away about as scared as I was because I heard momma crunching in the trees lol! I went there for about a week an seen the bear family multiple times they would come down to the actual spring. You should do a video there, lots of wildlife. I caught a very large turtle in the actual swimming spring, stay as late as possible because the animals are accustomed to when the park closes and they move in early sometimes and you can see them.
Was really nice seeing a tour of Kelly Springs, I didn't know it was a lazy river. looking forward to snorkeling it like you did
This was a great video guys, and I need to agree with some of the other comments about how good your drone footage looked, you should be getting paid to promote the wider Orlando area, amazing for tourists like me to be reminded what a paradise you live in. Would be great to see you kayaking the second half of the spring.

Wekiva Island might be anther good place to do I video for this channel. Formally known as Wekiva landing. They've done so much improving to that place over the past several years. Lots of events there exp at Christmas!

I loved this video so much that I drove 14 hours from Virginia just to experience Rock Springs! I was NOT disappointed! It was everything I hoped it would be…once I took the plunge and got used to the temperature. 😂 I also took out a couple trying to walk over the rocks. Boy that current is strong! Thank you for sharing great spots like this one and for all of the tips. Now I have an awesome memory!
Back in 65 got stuck under water trying to go through an opening in a submerged rock ... totally out of breath, only by Divine Luck that I made it out ... Camp Ground is fabulous...not uncommon for black bears to raid your camp site ... had a cooler with black bear teeth marks ...
We have been absolutely loving this channel! It was a great idea and we really appreciate all the new ideas for spots to try. This is one we definitely want to try to get to soon! Thank you for keeping the rock videos under their own playlist so we can still watch them, too! I’ve got a quick question. Where can I find a similar bathing suit to Nikki? Would it be the sporting goods stores? When we get the camper set up for a longer time tomorrow, I’m hoping to search for one of those stores. 😉 We went tubing and I about froze. That looks warmer!

What would you say is the minimum temp to be able to enjoy the springs? We're due to be around Jan through Feb next year.
Since it is spring fed it stays a constant 68-72 degrees year round.
Good question! We are going to do a winter version so maybe see you there. remember is the air is colder than 65 then water should "feel" warmer since well it is warmer. I'm going to test it on a really cold day.

You can buy an inflatable twin size mattress at walmart for 8 bucks, if you go camping you have a bed and float in one!

the rocks are cool to look at...I find anything too cool this time, no fossils this time or shark teeth, but I did find a car key and an ear ring lol

When you said springs, I didn't think "manatees"; I thought "alligators". Are there any in that area, or is it more of a different area? As a non-Floridian, that's always my biggest concern when I see a body of water there. Beautiful video! :) EDIT: I just watched the part of the video where you discussed alligators, so I'm glad to hear there's no worries there. :)
Way further down the spring is the main concern. Though this is wild Florida an anything is possible, lol
