lol, its a pretty good list, right?
CampTravelExplore 👍
@@pigybak Thanks so much!
His list looks pretty damn good to me.
Shhhhhh.😉
I’m happy that while all this craziness in the world is going on we can keep our local springs, lakes, and rivers clean
They stay beautiful don't they! TY for watching!!
I read a couple articles a while back, that the speings are failing because of pollution and the flow is slowing down. Enjoy them while we can, before we ruin them too.
We Must
@@needsomeink Thank Nestlé for that, keep paying them for it lol
Such a BEAUTIFUL state! 🥰
Incredibly lucky to say I grew up in the Ocala National Forest, surrounded by amazing swimming holes. I love Juniper and Salt Springs.
Planning on a trip up to Salt Springs in April I believe! Thanks for checking it out for us!!
Wow!! Tom great presentation of all 10 springs!!!
Thanks Bud! It means a lot, thanks for checking it out!
Great video! Thanks for reminding us of some of the most beautiful places in Florida.
Thanks Jim, we appreciate the support!!!
We love your channel and are so thankful you've shared about the springs in FL! We've been to Florida many times in our lives and never even knew about the springs until last year when we saw your videos! We've explored a couple this season and can't wait to see more! Thank you again!
Thank You soooo much for your kind feedback, we really appreciate your support!! Glad these episodes help you to discover them and experience the real Florida!
Wonderful! Great guide to top-10 Florida springs. Very much like the underwater and aerial footage. Would be great to visit those locations. Thanks for sharing and have a great week 😀👍
Thank You for your kind feedback! We appreciate it, we really do!
Juniper Springs, also in the Ocala National Forest, is another excellent spring.
Thanks David, I agree. We have an episode from there as well! TY for your feedback!!
Going there in July!!!!
Yep, I was going to mention Juniper Springs. I enjoyed that one. I like Wekiva too, but these springs are better during the week, as the weekend sucks with it being overcrowded.
Love Rainbow Springs, great for swimming and kayaking.
It really is some of the best kayaking in all of Florida right!!
Thank you! We look forward to kayaking in these places!
Hope you enjoy! TY for watching and commenting!
Great recommendation. Thanks. The water so clear. I assume that since it's a spring, it is fresh water. Our springs are nothing like yours in Florida. Great video. Keep 'em coming. Have fun, stay safe and stay healthy!
Appreciate you watching and commenting!
Wow, great video. Now I have more springs to check out! So many beautiful places! Thanks for featuring my clips!
Great Job on those shots and Thank You for the help!!
Absolutely stunning. You perked my ears up even more when you mentioned kayaking🤩
Wow, love it. Ty for sharing!
Thank You so much! We are glad you enjoyed it! yes the kayaking is so nice at these stops!
@@CampTravelExplore you're welcome
😊
Silver Springs is real, real nice, as well as the most mentioned when I visit Rainbow Springs, a local state park. Glad to see it was close to the top of your list. It is a terrific place to spend a day, or a weekend at the camp grounds in the park.
We loved Silver Springs and literally just kayaked there last weekend, look for that video from us in coming weeks! Glad you enjoyed our episode!!
Incredible video, Tom! Such beautiful places I never knew even existed.
Thanks so much Randy! Yes I am just discovering them myself over these last three years!!
Lived in Florida my whole life but we visited mostly Central Florida and the keys. Awesome to learn about more springs. Wekiva is awesome. The island is a bit crazy. Love the Manatee Festival at Blue Spring. Alexander is amazing. Love the Ocala National Forest. Kelly Park does not allow dogs. That’s why we went to Magnolia- no spring. Rock is another great one. Glad to add some to my list. Manatee spring you can scuba. Salt Springs is a huge swim area. DeLeon Springs with its make your own pancakes at Sugar Mill Restaurant is awesome. Great job. Alice
Thank You for your support!! Great insights too!
Having lived in Fla for 30 years I've been to a lot of these....heading to Rainbow River tomorrow. However, you've turned me on to some new ones that are now on my bucket list
That is so great that it was helpful! We have been hitting the springs on weekdays and it has made a big difference in enjoying them, just wanted to share that in case it helps you!!
Silver Glen & Rock Springs at Kelly Park are both incredibly beautiful places. Great video!
Those are two of our favs also! The swimming at Silver Glen is like being in a pool and the lazy river at Rock Springs is incredible!! Thanks for checking it out for us and we have great individual videos of Silver Glen and Rock Springs if you want to check them out for us too.
Very nice, thanks. I live in Silver Springs, and would add it for the glass-bottom boat tours. Also Salt Springs and lovely little Juniper Springs.
Great Feedback! Thank You so much!
The kayaking at Silver Springs is tremendous, totally agree!
Wow these are great! Thank you so much for making the list.
So glad you enjoyed it!!
The tubing run at #4 looks like heaven! Well, they all actually look amazing and the colors of the water - wow! Just stunning & thanks to your dive buddy 👍
Glad you enjoyed it, yes the water color especially at Silver Glen even surprised us! Yes Joe and I will be doing some videos together soon, all water related! Thanks for your continued support!
It is. Went their multiple times per year growing up. Very popular.
The tubing in #4 is amazingly beautiful and worth doing.
Perfectly said..... Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you. Please excuse my manner. If you find my message abusive, I'd love to be your friend and hope there's nothing wrong with that.
Awesome list! So many beautiful springs in Florida. Its absolutely incredible how much water runs clean through the center of the state. ♡
Thank You guys for watching and commenting! Safe travel out there on the road!!
Wow! I've never swam in a spring. These are beautiful! Can't wait to get in when I get to Florida! Thanks for this list!
You definitely want to get out there and start checking them out! TY for watching and commenting!
Fair warning...the water is really COLD in these springs. Refreshing in the summer but will take your breath for a moment lol.
Water is very cold so try to in the summer but I think that temperature is year-round, anyway it is a great, fun and unforgettable experience. 🎉🎉
Wow, beautiful springs!
So glad you enjoyed it!!
Please add a clip of beautiful waterhole and great canoeing at Juniper Springs in Ocala and also Silver Springs.
Very well done video. Amazing water. Nice voiceover. Choice and use of music superb.
Thank You for your kind feedback! Please let us know how we are doing, it helps us keep improving the content! Welcome to our channel!
Ginnie Springs is the best. Ultimate experience..... LOVE THESE VIDS.....
Ginnie is so nice, but I do love Rainbow though and the kayaking there is tremendous! Thank You for leaving us feedback, we really appreciate it!
I've been to several of these springs and I can agree with this list. Great video!
Thank You for checking it out for us!!
Awesome video!!! Now I’ll definitely have to make a trip to Ginnie!
Ginnie is incredible for sure!
Truly an excellent video 📸! Thank you for sharing!!!
Hey we are so glad you enjoyed it, thank you for the kind words!!
Beautiful video. The people who gave a thumbs down must not appreciate natural beauty
I know it, thats what I'm thinking too! Thank You for the kind feedback!!
It was a long time ago, but I loved that tubing run at Rock Springs!!!
Have also been to Alexander Springs and it really is like a giant swimming pool.
I love the tube run at Rock Springs, one of the most underrated activities in Florida we think! Thanks for checking it out for us, also we did a whole video on the tube run at Rock Springs if you want to check it out and let us know what you think!!
Been to Ginnie Springs years ago. Did some scuba diving, including one cavern, but it was all awesome!
🐟🐠😜😎👍
Such a great place to go! Thanks for checking it out for us!!
Thanks for taking time to make this video!! Going to springs in a week!
So glad you enjoyed it!!
Thank you so much for this top 10 list! I’m happy to say that I’ve visited 4 of the parks in the list and camped in 2 of the 4.
Thank you again because I have created my “springs bucket list”. So fortunate to live in Florida most of my life. Keep the great videos coming 😊
Thank You Albert for checking it out! Enjoy those springs!!!
Thank you for this wonderful video and thank you again for answering my question on another video.
Thank You for the kind words! We love your feedback, keep the questions coming! Appreciate you!
Gilchrist springs is our favorite park! You have an awesome list here! We will check them out.
We love Gilchrist, I still think that might be the bluest water of them all!
Troy spring is very cool and even features a Civil War shipwreck. I dove Weeki Wache back in 2007 and 2008. They let you in between performances. A really neat place in general.
I will put Troy spring on my list! Thanks for checking it out for us!!
Used to snorkel Ginnie and some of the others back in the '60's before Ginnie was much of a public attraction. Thanks very much for the video...I'm a long way from Florida, and these videos take me back most enjoyably.
So glad you could live some of those memories watching! You got to experience them with little to no crowds I bet!
@@CampTravelExplore Oh, yes, no one there. Yet, oddly enough, when the owner decided to start turning it into a park, there was significant improvement. He started charging 25 cents per person, and put in some of the wooden decks like the one at Ginnie. People stopped rutting the place up with pickups and 4 wheelers and leaving beer cans lying around when they had to come up with 25 cents to enter the area. Thanks again for the video!
So cool that you have had that experience like that!
I live a few minutes from Rock Springs and I love it. Just remember to be there before 9am on the weekends because they reach capacity very quickly aftward.
You almost cant get in on the weekends anymore, but Mondays are wonderful there!!
As a paddle boarder I'm a big fan of Florida's Springs. For paddlers I would like to add Silver Springs, 5 mile run with good oportunities for wildlife , Manatees and maybe Monkeys. Juniper Springs is a 7 mile run. Small swimming area that feeds a big creek that twists through a incredible setting. If you paddle board Juniper it has to be a hard board, no inflatables. Also use short fins or no fin. There are sticks/roots just under the surface in some areas. Thanks for the great video. You've added some to my "things to do" list.
Love Silver Springs, just kayaked the 5 mile run yesterday although we didn't see the monkeys this time lol, thanks for your insights!
@@CampTravelExplore Have you paddled Juniper Springs Creek? If you haven't it worth a look.
Grew up in Alachua and Gilchrist counties so these springs bring back a lot of memories. Nice video.
We fell in love with Gilchrist, what a hidden gem and some serious blue water! Thanks for your kind feedback!
@@CampTravelExplore Check out Hart Springs in Gilchrist County, also Otter Springs and Fanning Springs. Rock Bluff Springs too.
I sure will!! Thanks for your insights!
This a fabulous video with a wealth of information! Thank you!
Thank You for that feedback!! We appreciate you leaving these kinds of comments!!
Thanks for this! Such a cool and informative video. This made me visit Florida. I’ve never been but will go this summer 😎
Get out there and check them all out!!
We are for sure going to add all of these to our bucket list!
I hope you see them all! TY for watching and appreciate your feedback!
Can’t wait to explore these places!!
kassie bartkovich Yes you need to get out there and check them out! Share the episode link with anyone who will enjoy!! TY Kassie!!
visit ginnie springs you can find a lot of things and have a fun time swimming there
Juniper Springs has been my favorite for over thirty years! Beautiful campgrounds, fantastic canoe run and scenery, family friendly swimming hole/spring, snack bar/hot food in the pool area. Lots of wildlife along the canoe/kayak run.
We hope to go back to Juniper and do the kayak run there!!
I live in South GA and we go to Ginnie like every 2-3 years since I was a teen (I'm 38 now!!)
Me too! I love the spring. I live in Eureka & get to go to all 3 springs
Shhh! Keep it a secret. Our springs get too over crowded
How are the horse flies there? Years ago when I was cave diving throughout the states springs, I remember Juniper for these relentless, large black biting flies. 😂
It didn’t stop me from going there several times (had to after diving at Alexander), thanks!
That's amazing. I didn't know the USA had places like that. I looks like some places in Brazil. It reminded me of some places like Bonito, Chapada dos Veadeiros, Chapada Diamantina and Jalapão.
Awesome , Thanks C.T.E.
Thanks for checking it out and Thank You!!
Thanks so much! I just planned a FL camping route and you have covered all of the places and more we wish to go. Thanks so much for these amazing videos and information!
So glad you enjoyed it Suzanne! Where is your first stop on the trip?
Our first stop in FL will be Anastasia State Park!
Suzanne Lee We love Anastasia! We’re you able to check out our recent episode from there?
CampTravelExplore yes! I binged a bunch of your episodes last night and had my family watch too. Getting excited!
Thank You so much! Enjoy your trips!!!
Thanks for the video, we are planning a roadtrip starting in Fl and wanted to visit some springs while there, this was very helpful!👍🏽
So glad we could help you! We have individual videos of each of those too if you need an in depth look at any of them! Let us know which ones you make it to and thank you for checking it out for us!!
@@CampTravelExplore Will definitely check the individual videos! There is so much to see in FL, how are we ever going to pick? LOL Thanks again!
Wakulla is one of my ultimate favorite Springs with Edwards Ball Lodge, a third magnitude Spring complete with a high dive. i can't wait to check out a few on this list. Happy to say I've been to a few on the top 10 and Ginnie Springs use to be my favorite. i have floated down the st.johns river a few times. Lithia Springs was a local spring I would go to so I could cool off during the summer months I would go during the week when it was empty. One of my favorite things was swimming in place at the head of the spring. Ichetucknee Springs is pretty incredible too. Your guaranteed to see a Manatee. We must preserve these beautiful sea cows and by doing so were creating a cohesive environment.
Great insights! Wakulla is on our list to do :)
Perfectly said..... Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you. Please excuse my manner. If you find my message abusive, I'd love to be your friend and hope there's nothing wrong with that.
Very nice video!!! I want to see all of them!
Do it! We go on Mondays and Tuesdays when we hit the springs and they are so less crowded! Hope you check them out!!
I love florida's beaches!
Awesome list! thank you:)
So glad you enjoyed it!!
Crystal River is also a great place to go check out the Three Sisters Spring. Its gorgeous!
Yesss, Three sisters springs is on my list for this year! Thanks for checking out our episode and leaving us some feedback!!!
Great information
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Great video. Well done!
Thank You so much!
Great video thanks!
Thank You so much!
Awesome list😍
Thanks for checking it out!!!
Great vid.
TY so much!!
Great video! Can't wait to get to Florida!
Thank You so much, so glad you enjoyed it, let us know which ones you make it to!!
Have been going to Ginnie Springs for camping and tubing and kayaking for many years. It’s my favorite springs.
It's so beautiful there isn't it!!
@@CampTravelExplore yes, absolutely!
I like rainbow springs too 1 of many childhood fav
Love Rainbow too, so beautiful there and some of the best kayaking in the state!! TY for watching and commenting!
Amazing videos!
Thank You so much, we really appreciate that feedback!!!
Just beautiful 😍 ❤!!!!!
So glad you enjoyed it!!
thank you for this list.
So glad you enjoyed it!!
Thanks joe Oceanside
Joe Oceanside and I did a video down in Boca Chita Key if you want to check it out!! Thanks for watching!!
Great video ! You should add the one at weeki wachee springs !! It’s gorgeous ! You can jump off from vines into the water and pick your own island. Also they have mermaids !
Love Weeki Wachee, that one is right there isn't it, great kayaking there!! Thanks for checking it out for us!!
The Rainbow River (flowing out of #2 Rainbow Springs) is a great place to kayak if you want to see Florida wildlife in an alligator-free river. An early morning trip at sunrise offers the opportunity to see and paddle along with a family of otters - I don't know of any other place in Florida with otters. You'll also see a wide assortment of birds, from ducks and egrets to osprey. As the day warms, every log sticking out of the water is almost guaranteed to have turtles relaxing in the sunshine. Amazing place.
Lot's of otters in the Ichetucknee, and also gators in the Rainbow River so i'm not sure why you think that it is "gator free"...
Well visiting my son I got to see several of these and how to say they’re worth the travel if they are just breathtaking in the water so clear.! Can’t go wrong any one of the springs.
Thats so great! What are a couple of your favorites?
Those are beautiful! The Panhandle also has beautiful springs.
DeFuniak Springs
Ponce de Leon
Havent been to DeFuniak yet, thanks for sharing!
You left a few of the best springs that florida has to offer! 🌝
Thanks Patricia, just curious, which one do you think we left off of the Top 10 and who would you take off this list to replace them?
Thank You for commenting!
These places are beautiful!!! I've been wanting to visit Ginnie Springs for a long time, but it's good to know there are other beautiful places there as well.
Our two personal Fav's on this list are Silver Glen and Rock Springs at Kelly Park, and we have individual videos on them if you want to check them out! Also, here is a tip from us, we go on Mondays and Tuesday a bunch and sometimes there is almost nobody there, the weekends are so crowded the springs don't feel the same, so try that if you get the chance! Thanks for your comment!!!
@@CampTravelExplore I definitely will check those out. Good to know! I will definitely take that into consideration. I work Fri-Sun for that reason. Love having things to myself haha and social distancing has made it even better!
Great! Let us know what you thought when you go!
You saved money
Blue Grotto has always been my favorite!
It’s a hard job to decide on just 10! But for my fav it is Salt Springs! Also in Ocala National Forest. The minerals in the water set this as one of the fountain of youths. Many people came here through the years just to drink the water.
Thanks for checking it out and welcome to our channel!!
Great list, can’t wait to see devils den!
Yes Devils Den is a must! Thanks for your comment!
Cool list!
Thanks so much!!
Amazing...i’ll probably visit since its just near me
Hope you get out and enjoy them!!
Solid list. I've been to most of these, but not all. Silver Glen is probably my #1.
Silver Glen is my favorite for swimming for sure!! Thanks for checking it out!!
Trying to get out there today if this damn weather would clear up!!
Same
My Dad used to run the KP Hole Park downstream about a mile from Rainbow Springs! He had to give the place up though, back in 1993. I miss those days!! 🏊🚣🏞
He ran it from 1981-1993
Great memories!! Such a beautiful area!!!
Thanks for the lead! They’re all beautiful! What were the round spots in the water on the last pic?
Im not entirely sure as I just flew the drone in that area. If I figure it out, ill get back to ya, have someone on it for me :) Thanks for watching and commenting!!!
Love silver springs in Ocala Bc it was Florida’s first tourist attraction and riding the glass bottom boats are always a good time. Oh and don’t forget about the monkeys around the park. Silver springs has also been a filming location for dozens of films, including scenes from the original James Bond films
We just did a Silver Springs kayaking video a couple of episodes back, were you able to check it out? I think you would enjoy it!
I must say, one springs that you did forget was the Little River Springs! It’s so pretty and I recommend people to go visit!
I will put that one on our list!!
You did good job with this video buddy. I appreciate your time. ❤ thank you. Do you know what time is best time to get there on weekends. I know in summer there are a lot of people going there.👍
Great content, great video
Hey thank you for that feedback, really appreciate it!!
I went to a few springs last year, I liked Poe. Surprised it isn't on here. I'm going back this year to check out silver springs and ichituknee
We never did Poe, will have to check it out
Gorgeous waters
Hope you get out there and check them out!!
@@CampTravelExplore That would be very cool.
I think you have missed Crystal Springs. I visited here in 2010 and stayed with Friends living near the shore of Que Lake near Melrose, Florida. A wonderful experience and a great memory..
Is this the one where you can swim with the manatees?
Hello I'm new to your channel. Marc Guido from Grand Adventure was telling me about your channel. He was telling me that I need to check your channel out. Let me say that I'm not disappointed. You have some amazing videos. I'm working on getting new camera equipment to get better clearer footage. Marc was very helpful telling me what channels to follow and what equipment to use.
That is so great! Welcome! We love Marc! He has been so helpful to us as well! Ty for your kind feedback! As far as equipment goes, we keep it simple, a GoPro 8 and an iphone 11 do amazing things, of course we occasionally get to use our drone! I will check out your channel as well and we appreciate feedback on our episodes so please keep it coming! Thanks again for coming along with us!!!!
Nice video... thanks.
So glad you enjoyed it!!
Manatee Springs in Chiefland, Fl - great camping area - the run goes into the Suwannee River
Manatee is on our list to hit soon! Thank You for checking out our video!!
7 sister springs sould definitely be added
We have a 7 Sisters Springs episode, were you able to check it out?
Nice video thanks
So glad you enjoyed it!
Great list; thank you! You had a few on your top 10 that others I follow had not mentioned. Ichetucknee has been ranked by many as better than Ginnie since Ginnie is a party place. I think Ginnie actually has 6-7 springs along the float. I see many are commenting about Silver Springs. I love that one too-- I have been twice and did the glass bottom boat tours first and then the kayak rental. Was just there two weeks ago and kayaked alongside manatees and gators with a respectful distance. Cannot get out and swim in this one though; not permitted and definitely not recommended with all the gators!
Silver Springs is great and we have a couple of individual videos on it if you want to check them out! The kayaking at Silver Springs is excellant!
Perfectly said..... Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you. Please excuse my manner. If you find my message abusive, I'd love to be your friend and hope there's nothing wrong with that.
Fanning Springs is also a must
Thats one we will check out!!
We used to live near Weeki Wachee and took our children there when they were small.
Kelly Springs, which I believe is part of Rock Springs is stunning! I did some kayaking there and was just blown away by it's beauty. I'm definitely going to have to check out the Ocala National Park area which seems to have the best springs in the state hands down.
We just went back to Rock Springs to film the kayaking there, that episode will come out soon, but yes, Kelly park is one of our personal favs!
You should put Hart Springs, Little River Springs, and Fanning Springs
I will absolutely put them on our list, thanks for the feedback!!!!
Hart springs is the best
I didn't read too far, but I did see one mention of Salt Springs. I haven't been in 50yrs to any public spring but I did swim and scuba in Salt Springs as a kid and thought it was great.
Salt Springs is one we hope to film in the future, thank you for mentioning it!!
