Hmong american, im not gonna lie most are hardheaded where some will think that miao are han chinese acting as hmong. Its only in america where we go to our festivals and fight each other and see themselves as the better american version of hmong where some will say they are the better hmong even to they're own in america. Due to different living environment our hospitality is different from back in asia it's more about who is what like stronger, has more money, more power and who is the better hmong.

Hmong and Han had different kingdoms but originated from two King brothers I'm assuming this is Chiyou and Yu or the red Emperor. That's our story Passed down anyway but since our history was wiped out after the takeover and because hmongs refused to be ruled by the new emperor we will never know of the truth but we have the same last names such as lee, xiong(zong), Vang (Fang), Thao(zhao) and etc. hmongs created a secret language to escape prosecution which is the language we speak now but some original words remain which is the same as chinese. Words such as Lao (old), gaoju (princess), gu (brother), shifu (teacher) and so on. I'm curious if there's any pieces of history left to be discovered.
This explains a lot. The way we live nowadays in southeast asia were the results of the fight. I always knew damn well we didn't originate from plastic tarp roofing, walls made out of bamboo/sticks and the plain dirt for flooring.
