The Stop-Motion animated sequence that shows the insane amount of articulation this figure has, is just genius! It beats the hell out of having to watch some guy play with the figure, and I know just how patient one must be to do that type of anymation. So good job, dude! And the figure, in and of itself, just kicks ass! Best Gundam figure in a long time!
@VoidlessOfSpace the action figure is actually direct copy of the 1:1 scale life size movable gundam in Yokohama japan. Even the proportion is exactly the same. 😉
Both! if you are a collector.. hahahaha. i think you get more bang for your buck if you get the 40th GFFMC. If you are a die hard collector then i would suggest this chogokin.
So, arms should be down to his knees? I checked the factory life size, and this is a pretty accurate replica. I have the 40th anniversary and am thinking about getting the Yokohama as well. Considering the price, I might even sell the 40th and buy the Yokohama. Although not so sure now after seeing your review. Thanks for sharing.
If you are a collector as I've said definitely get this since this is exclusively sold in Japan and one Bandai stop making it you will not find it anymore compared to gffmc 40th whch is being sold n retail store worldwide. But if you are not a die hard collector then I wouldn't recommend this for it's ugly when it comes to proportion and details. Since this is part of Bandai's chogokin line, the material used are more on die cast metal and very little plastic compared to Gffmc whch plastic and die-cast are balanced
Great reivew! I have heard it's gonna re-issue and I am hesitant buying this one. The only reason I will buy this is "lots of diecast inside". How much in percentage does this Gundam contain diecast (or alloy) comparing with GFF Gundam 40th year?
Am interested in getting this. But, I am wondering, is it the same as the composite RX-78 Origin but repainted to be shiny? Or is it an entirely different thing?
Great review! I can’t decide wether to get this guy at $300 or the 40th anniversary RX-78-02 Bandai at $200. Really like the paint scheme and brightness of this factory one. I also heard you have to be really careful handling the 40th, about paint scratching and rubbing off. Is this chogokin more solid with its paint you think? I won’t be handling it much. More die cast in this one vs the 40th? Probably pose it and put it in my case. Something about this one though. It will be my first Gundam and probably only one to get, so I want to make sure I’m getting the better one. I mainly collect Godzilla and chogokin Voltron stuff. Thanks!
This one have more diecast than the GFFMC. Thjs gundam chogokin build quality is just like the rest of the soul of chogokin line. Paint wise, I don't it will get scratch too easily since the quality is the same as the SOC line toys..
@@ChinHobbyToys So would you say that compared to the 40th anni version the paint job is less professional in this Chogokin version? I ask because I am interested in getting the just announced RX-93ff Chogokin but am afraid that its surface quality will not match the GFFMC that I have been collecting. And I personally never owned any Chogokin and clearly don't know about the surface quality of the soul of Chogokin. Would love to hear your take on that.
the proportions are particular, it is true, but this Gundam takes for the first time something that really exists and moves. This makes it a unique piece.

Is it worth getting the DX version of this if you already own the standard chogokin model?
Depends, if you like big stuff 1/48 scale display piece and if you have space and money why not.
I dont like how the lower part of the waist is very small. it just looks so fragile it could snap. its nice but not for me.
It’s pure diecast so it’s not going to snap that’s easily.
@@ChinHobbyToys I know but the proportions are kinda weird to me. And the weird leg movement

Grabe!! Ang ganda!!
Ty boss.
Do you think that getting the 1/100 version of the RX-78F00 would be a better investment?
In my opinion nope when it comes to "investment"
It took me awhile, but I finally ordered it :) I have watched this video a couple of times, and I thought i should treat myself for Christmas haha
Congrats..👍
Great review as usual
Thanks.😊
does it come with battery in the box? or do we have to purchase battery?
It came with it.
Ganda nyan. 😊
Ty boss.🙂

Height to body ratio or proportion wise the hand should be near to the knee. Still a great action figure and collector item.
Awesome review, love the stop motion 👍🏻
I’m still thinking to get either this or GFFMC 40th anniversary, which one do you think is better?

Thanks. About 75% to 80% diecast or maybe more.
Wow. That's awesome! Thank you!

Have you seen the GFFMC origin?
