If you own a gas generator you should have a extra carb and tools to quickly charge out carb

do you know if this fix will work for other Firmen models?

If the carb bowl is not lined up properly, this fix will work regardless of manufacturer. Thanks for watching. Cheers

Is there a gasket sealer I can use for the bowl where it meets the body of the carb and at the bowl nut?

I would just order a new bowl gasket. They are only a few dollars. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Cheers

Have you tested your AVR? Voltage regulator. I would suggest looking up a guy on UA-cam called James Condon. His channel is the best around for anything generator related. Cheers

@@brantsmallenginerepairs cheers pal. I have a generator (different than the one in this video) but..... It has a leak on the carb, basically the fuel inlet pipe that the fuel line connects too is leaking, I can remove that pipe with my hand although I shouldn't be able too. It stays in position and doesn't fall off but it obviously isn't air tight hence why it's dripping fuel so my question is, do you know what I can use to seal it to stop the leaking? I know the easier option would be to buy a new carb but my generator works perfect and is a cheap one but it serves the purpose I need. It seems pointless buying a new carb if I can fix this one and if I did buy a carb then it wouldn't be as cheap as it were. I bought it for £30 off boot sale, it didn't work but I've managed to get it up and running and the only thing wrong is the leaking carb, I'd rather fix than buy new wherever possible if I can.
Sorry for the long reply but I really hope you understand and I really appreciate you taking the time to message me

You will have to get an epoxy that is fuel resistant. Something like this.
      www.amazon.ca/Weld-8272-MarineWeld-Marine-Epoxy/dp/B000KKPFFA/ref=asc_df_B000KKPFFA/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=292950034231&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9848166121512417944&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001042&hvtargid=pla-422572943945&psc=1
If you do this, put a thin layer and don't just gob it on there. I have never tried this and don't know if it will work. You could probably get a cheap replacement carby for not much more. Good luck and let me know how you make out.
