I would say that the power damper for humans would probably prevent us from using adrenaline and probably leave us feeling exhausted and possibly weak. Pretty much just letting us move but doing much more
This one is one I was waiting for. It's a really good episode to fully set up the plot and I do love the format of it especially having Galapagos tell us this story with him as our main character. It's fascinating especially how peaceful he is and his relationship to everyone growing overtime. Even him learning from the others to outsmart and defeat Agragor for a little while. I will say I was shocked that they actually killed the Plumber but I think it's a cool idea although it is sad cause he is a really cool character so losing him is sad even if it helps to show the threat Agragor possess and how ruthless he is.
Bivalvan always felt like the leader of Andromeda five to me to be honest. Raad was egoistic anti-hero Pandor was straight up evil jerk Andreas was kinda gentle giant And Galapagus was straight up Wholesome to be honest. That's just my opinion though. What did you think? Kuro ?
Andreas definetly had an innocent streak but He was also prone to violence, So I got more hulk vibes from him. It makes sense bivalvan was a leader given his species is well revered on his homeworld and are scene with almost religous reverence/ as celebrities. Pandor I get the impression that he’s the only character that might properly belong in a prison. Then again his circumstances are worse than the others since he’s pretty much starving in that thing. Agreed with raad and galapagus!
i would say Ra'ad is more an "I do this my own way" type of guy, like he isn't really a team player. could be the reason why he lasted longer among the andromeda 5
I actually believe it's the case of what Kevin and Aggregor absorbed, Aggregor seemed to absorb life energy, while Kevin simply absorbed actual DNA from the Omnitrix.
The "powers" thing always bugged me too. I'm working on my own sci fi story and I usually say "abilities" over powers, if the ability is natural to the alien's species.
@@HuneeBruh I started drawing and publishing the first chapter, thanks for asking. Slower than I hoped due to life getting in the way but we're getting there.
8:07 ~0~ Oh Great Ben Tennyson It took me a bit to realize you were calling *Aggregor* Greg 21:45 Agreed. That'd be neat 23:10 Wait isn't Goop missing?
This is one of the best episodes for me in UA. It really hooked me up for what was about to come. Now that I look back, we got three major arcs (?) in the UA: - Aggregor and Andromeda prisoners Arc (Season 1) - Ultimate Kevin Arc (Season 1) (Although it is correlated with the first one) - Diagon Arc (Season 2) I have always enjoyed the first arc a lot. It was different and very enjoyable for me.
I think it makes sense they retconned how strong their absorption is. After all, at the time of Ultimate Alien, Osmosians were an entire species, so it makes sense to make their copied powers a bit less powerful so you wouldn’t have an entire series of overly powerful copy cats
11:14 Its because a small portion would just be temporary whereas like with Aggregor later he had the Andromeda aliens absorbed entirely into them which gave him both the abilities as well as physiologies of all of them whwre as with Kevin in OS he omly had parts of Ben's aliens' DNA and that makes it easy to assume that its the reason Kevin couldnt use certain alien powers like Upgrade's power.
I feel really sorry for Galapagos. The peaceful turtle-like extraterrestrial was was just asking simple but logical questions and the other prisoners often snap at him for that.
Well, I think we have to consider the fact that the Omnitrix has near unlimited power, where a living being doesn't. Meaning it kinda makes sense that Kevin can have fully powered alien, where Agragor doesn't. Also, I don't think Agragor thought about using the Omnitrix, cause he was so focused on absorbing the Andromeda 5
I never understood why aggregor didnt just went in the original planets and captured another set of aliens other than spesifically searching for the originals
The thing with the Ultimatrix's activation method, is that the Omnitrix from the OS does the same multiple times. It's not the same with the Ultimatrix, where it's solely activated this way. However, we have been told how the Omnitrix's activation method works, and there have been multiple times where it was not activated that way. The Ultimatrix's activation method seems to greatly imply that the Ultimatrix is activated psuedo-telepathically.
Terraspin got done dirty. They explicitly say he is immune to magic and mana and show it, but later in spoiler location with Charmcaster he does jack shit and just jobs.
I probably like the Andromeda Five more than most. I've always liked it when Ben's aliens get some back story to them or are shown outside of just being an alien transformation.
The andromeda five are pretty much the best thing about ultimate alien honestly. Really weird how ben never tried going ultimate with them. The only thing that rivals the individuals and the transformations being ultimate kevin
When Galapagus was talking to Ben about there being a song about him, I thought it was a meta joke to Ben 10's most iconic song. It's been a while, but I believe it goes a little something like this: "It started when an alien device did what it did" :)
Really enjoyed this episode and the breakdown of said episode. As for the redesigns of the Stalker, they all look really good, the only thing that I have to say about them is that some of them if not the majority of the designs look similar to the Martian fighting machines/ tripods from the War of the Worlds novel, movie and musical. (But I guess that’s more of a me thing, really like that story as well as the musical adaptation).
14:15 my new Headcanon for it is now, the reason Kevin could go Toe to Toe with Ben is while yes he only got 10% of The Aliens Strength, it was because he was an 11 Year Old version of them, while Ben was still 10, for humans 11 and 10 Year Olds aren't that different strength wise, for the other species like Pyronites or Tetramands it could be a HUGE gap in power
Also at 16:31 terraspin has the ultimatrix on him so all the alines might have been designed as bens aliens in sheets but altered walker for the andromida 5
The power draining device was actually draining their stamina, as seen with Bivalvan shooting small jets of water when Galapagos took the device. Also, don't forget that when Kevin absorbed Heatblast's power in the Original it only covered half his body and dried up after some time, so since then it was implied that Osmosians could only absorbe one tenth of an alien's strength. And finally, I want to point out that the Yeti is a relative of V. V. Argost("foreshadowing" that cryptids exist in this universe) and that it is likely the team met with Animo and the Yeti in the same Tibetan mountains that Argost killed Zak's mom parents, as a trivia of how the Ben 10 and the Saturdays universes mix up.
Good catch with V.V argost! Thought I was the only one who had that in mind. Although You’d think he’d be a bit weary over his scheme of controlling a bunch of yetis..maybe it was actually argost that sold him the device in the first place pfft.
In 'Framed', we see Kevin turning into the entire alien. So, no. It was really just a retcon Also... I don't see how the draining device is only draining their stamina?? No one ever claims that they feel weaker, and Ra'ad is just constantly floating but you'd think he wouldn't be if the device drained his stamina
@@PhantomKnight27, then Kevin didn't actually absorb the Omnitrix DNA, but was struck by an overflow of Omnitrix energy(similar to when he hacked it in AF Season 3), which messed up his DNA with that of the original 10, eventually leading to his first mutation, so it was a mutation, not DNA absorbtion. Also, the thing with the stamina absorbtion is that it seemed like the best explanation to me about their powers being drained, apart from "cartoon device which magically takes away the powers and nothing else."
@@mitchjervis8453 You're right about that. I should've thought about that more. My argument was pretty shit there. Not only that, but it's only cause he went directly for the Omnitrix that he was able to do so, which automatically disqualifies my previous argument So, returning to 'Kevin 11' then. If Aggregor was only capable of absorbing 1/10th, that it couldn't even mutate him, then how was Kevin able to absorb seemingly half?? He didn't go for the Omnitrix, here so wouldn't he not mutate to such a degree?? Regarding the second paragraph, I was confused cause you stated it like it was a fact instead of a theory you thought up. But yeah, there's just... really no other explanation for it than "plot device", which is really sad... I was hoping it'd be more as well
Adding on to Kuro's idea, a coop mode could be a thing that allows u to play with multiple of your friends through some specific levels. For example, there could be a level where u and 4 other of your friends have to play as the Andromeda 5 and escape from Aggregor's ship and it could play like a GTA V heist, u have to try not to be spotted, u need to sneak around and take out enemies from behind. I can imagine this being cool and fun because playing GTA V heists with my friends is fun because we mess around and act stupid.
As a kid thsi was my favorite episode I think. I recall it a lot, and even enjoyed Terra spin as both a transformation and the guy himself(forgot his name). Though unfortunately for me I have major Tryptaphobia so that sycked lol. I actually think this is what started it for me as as a kid seeing Aggregor randomly opening giant holes in hid body really disturbed me lol.
The reason the first turtle Greg absorbed wasn't enough is because osmosisons have a limit and for the most part a duration. That's why he needed to build a machine to absorb more of their power.
16:31 i was watching and noticed that, "galapagus" in that shot, is just terraspin's model, as it has the ultimatrix on it, surprised that didn't get pointed out, but i'm also surprised i didn't notice anyway
5:53 Considering the fact that the Ultimatrix was made by Albedo specifically for combat purposes, that actually makes a bit of sense. 9:52 Oh my god... Kuro touches grass!?
This was what I was waiting for. When the andromeda arc really starts, that really kicks UA into overdrive, I really feel like people will turn their eye to this season as these breakdowns go on.
I can always tell when it's Dee Bradley Baker, I got so used to his voice when he played Every Clone in the clone wars show. He has a few variations on that voice, and then one more that I recognize as Variks from Destiny.
11:43 half my body actually felt tingly during this. I think it’s cause I’ve been clearing wood for work. And my arm got a rash from what we assume is green ferbishing. But I see a lot of bugs and spiders in that wood and I saw some foam that had these and I assume there was a nest of wasp or something there. Just some work related ptsd I guess lol. So many centipedes. I don’t think I can trust a wooden house again.
Hey, Kuro, I know its a while till we Get to the forge if creation, but I have to add something. In an earlier video you said that the krus they used to unlock alien x was just a one time cool things. But it actually affects the plot. Its meant to explain why Kevin didnt Get alien x powrrsnwhen he absorbed the omnitrix, since that dna was locked away. I hope you see this and remember it when you eventually covers the episode
15:38 humans have the power to sweat better than any animal, super intelligence (though you’d find this debatable after you encounter enough people), the power of opposable thumbs, and the best throwing capabilities of basically any animal. Human-man would be a cool superhero. But really in all seriousness for the Ben 10 universe I guess there might be a universal definition of powers as being based on what traits heavily diverge from the majority of intelligent/civilized beings throughout the galaxy.
18:35 I would personally interpret that as him putting It on and It acts as a universal translators so that when The Plumber pick up his message. They do know what he’s actually saying. But then again, it would be weird that Agragor just has a Plumbers universal translator with him. But who knows, Maybe he has It so that other species can understand him better. But that wouldn’t matter much because he doesn’t really give a S**T about trying to talk things down and would rather just kill you then and there
I feel like Kevin absorbing bens powers were implied to be weaker due to the whole “alien + Kevin’s dna” thing. I remember you bringing that up in an alien x video

- Dang, the Andromeda Five is so underused by Ben!
- Bet Galapagus' homeworld would be great with some weed...
- 🎵Con-tinu-ity! BOOM!
- For the most part, I'm ok with Aggregor and his design....But then I remember the Servantis plot and start sobbing, trying to figure out the puzzle 😭

Raad was egoistic anti-hero
Pandor was straight up evil jerk
Andreas was kinda gentle giant
And
Galapagus was straight up Wholesome to be honest.
That's just my opinion though. What did you think? Kuro ?
Kinda wished we saw this guy's again.
@@GreaterGrievobeast55 P'andor is confirmed to be a criminal from his planet.
i would say Ra'ad is more an "I do this my own way" type of guy, like he isn't really a team player. could be the reason why he lasted longer among the andromeda 5
@@GreaterGrievobeast55 💯
I actually believe it's the case of what Kevin and Aggregor absorbed, Aggregor seemed to absorb life energy, while Kevin simply absorbed actual DNA from the Omnitrix.
The "powers" thing always bugged me too. I'm working on my own sci fi story and I usually say "abilities" over powers, if the ability is natural to the alien's species.
How’s it going 2 years later?
@@HuneeBruh I started drawing and publishing the first chapter, thanks for asking. Slower than I hoped due to life getting in the way but we're getting there.
@@aidianajones good luck on everything man

8:07 ~0~ Oh Great Ben Tennyson
It took me a bit to realize you were calling *Aggregor* Greg
21:45 Agreed. That'd be neat
23:10 Wait isn't Goop missing?
This is one of the best episodes for me in UA. It really hooked me up for what was about to come. Now that I look back, we got three major arcs (?) in the UA:
- Aggregor and Andromeda prisoners Arc (Season 1)
- Ultimate Kevin Arc (Season 1) (Although it is correlated with the first one)
- Diagon Arc (Season 2)
I have always enjoyed the first arc a lot. It was different and very enjoyable for me.
Gosh I love the Andromada 5's designs. In another timeline I could see these guys as 5 of Ben's core aliens in classic.
at 18:11 one of the agrabots gets zapped without coming incontact with water till a few seconds later
I think it makes sense they retconned how strong their absorption is. After all, at the time of Ultimate Alien, Osmosians were an entire species, so it makes sense to make their copied powers a bit less powerful so you wouldn’t have an entire series of overly powerful copy cats
Nah I think the reason kevin became half pyronite and tetramand is because of the omnitrix
Also Kevin being able to go toe to toe could be explained as he was absorbing energy rather than the physical body like Greg was
11:14 Its because a small portion would just be temporary whereas like with Aggregor later he had the Andromeda aliens absorbed entirely into them which gave him both the abilities as well as physiologies of all of them whwre as with Kevin in OS he omly had parts of Ben's aliens' DNA and that makes it easy to assume that its the reason Kevin couldnt use certain alien powers like Upgrade's power.
I feel really sorry for Galapagos. The peaceful turtle-like extraterrestrial was was just asking simple but logical questions and the other prisoners often snap at him for that.
Peaceful nature is often seen as a weaknes and weak people are victims and in nature food
I like to think that Bivalvan's voice changes based on the amount of water he has inside of him ig
That’s a cool theory!
So when he don’t have his power and he can’t regenerated water his voice is so badass
@@TheInkTank thanks
Well, I think we have to consider the fact that the Omnitrix has near unlimited power, where a living being doesn't.
Meaning it kinda makes sense that Kevin can have fully powered alien, where Agragor doesn't.
Also, I don't think Agragor thought about using the Omnitrix, cause he was so focused on absorbing the Andromeda 5
I think he was gonna use Amp'hibian Ben when he couldn't find Ra'ad. Or maybe I'm thinking of some other guy who used Amp'hibian
@@yannismorris4772 he did. You might also be thinking about the time Ampfibian's experimented on in Viktor Spoils.
It's a story arc, When it comes to arcs aside from their ending overall story does not disappoint no matter which series of Ben 10 your prefer.
not even the reboot.
I never understood why aggregor didnt just went in the original planets and captured another set of aliens other than spesifically searching for the originals
23:10 Goop would like to know your location
Seeing ultimate big chill use fire just makes me miss heatblast as he’s always gonna be the fire guy to me
I always thought that the ultimatrix was activated by Ben flexing a muscle in his wrist to open up the ultermatrix dial
Damn that sucks
I probably like the Andromeda Five more than most. I've always liked it when Ben's aliens get some back story to them or are shown outside of just being an alien transformation.
The andromeda five are pretty much the best thing about ultimate alien honestly. Really weird how ben never tried going ultimate with them. The only thing that rivals the individuals and the transformations being ultimate kevin
When Galapagus was talking to Ben about there being a song about him, I thought it was a meta joke to Ben 10's most iconic song.
It's been a while, but I believe it goes a little something like this:
"It started when an alien device did what it did" :)
5:40 this is basically whenever a boss becomes a playable character
I can’t get over you calling Agreggor “Greg” I can’t stop laughing
Although You’d think he’d be a bit weary over his scheme of controlling a bunch of yetis..maybe it was actually argost that sold him the device in the first place pfft.
oh dang! I forgot the secret saturdays actually exist in ben 10!
In 'Framed', we see Kevin turning into the entire alien. So, no. It was really just a retcon
Also...
Not only that, but it's only cause he went directly for the Omnitrix that he was able to do so, which automatically disqualifies my previous argument
So, returning to 'Kevin 11' then.
Man...this was the first ben 10 episode I ever watched I guess that could be why the 5 are some of my favorites
15:50 Right thank goodness I’m not the only one that noticed this detail. Bivalvan sounds like a storm trooper in his future appearances.
20:35. 😂😂😂 Was not expecting that
I'm surprised Kuro didn't point out they forgot the mana immunity Geocheline Aerios have at 5:43
The new intro is _still_ focken dope, every time I see it.
Yeah I can see that aggregor thing disturbing anyone as a kid especially.
terra-spin has a very cannonbolt like power set, in that his ability comes from what his body naturually forms into
The reason the first turtle Greg absorbed wasn't enough is because osmosisons have a limit and for the most part a duration. That's why he needed to build a machine to absorb more of their power.
11:39 WHY? WHY? WHY? I FELT THE HAIRS IN THE BACK OF MY NECK STAND UP AND MY STOMACH TURN! i feel sick 🤢
16:31 i was watching and noticed that, "galapagus" in that shot, is just terraspin's model, as it has the ultimatrix on it, surprised that didn't get pointed out, but i'm also surprised i didn't notice anyway
That intro tho is just so clean kuro. Hope all you at ink tank are doing well and being safe

9:55 I got some of that Swamp Fire OG myself RN.
13:22 Funny to call him that while being next to Ra'ad.

I can always tell when it's Dee Bradley Baker, I got so used to his voice when he played Every Clone in the clone wars show. He has a few variations on that voice, and then one more that I recognize as Variks from Destiny.
Terraspin is rarely if ever talked about so it's nice that this video exists.
The 5YL design for Terraspin looks pretty cool! And yeah, I suppose Galapagus is my favorite of the Andromeda aliens. Though none of them are bad.
I've always liked aggregors simple design, it made the transformation more drastic and striking, even tho it wasn't the best ultimate forms
But that wouldn’t matter much because he doesn’t really give a S**T about trying to talk things down and would rather just kill you then and there
The real question why agreggor have that he just make a big mistake bring that here
@@faridhaikal6713 It’s Ben 10, When has It ever made any sense
I feel like Kevin absorbing bens powers were implied to be weaker due to the whole “alien + Kevin’s dna” thing. I remember you bringing that up in an alien x video
