The continuation on that ball is insane!! I've never seen a ball that continuous. I mean, no deflection at all!
I think this is probably a great ball. The thing is you can probably get a hustle for way less to do the same thing
REX is longer than a Hustle and stronger off the spot in my experience

UA-cam commenters thinking they know R&D better than Storm. Storm makes the Hustle.. you really think they wouldn’t discontinue the hustle if this was just a more expensive hustle? Why would they let you choose a cheaper ball if they were the same? They aren’t the same that’s the point. Hustle does not perform like the Lightning. If you care about your game and you aren’t bothered by 60 bucks which if you’re an adult marking adult money you should be fine then buy the lightning. If you’re on a McDonald’s budget buy a hustle and deal with wider margins in the dry oil. Up to you.

I honestly would never use this weak of a ball on anything other than the burn... I tend to stay to anything above .040 diff for fresh and beginning transition, just to keep angles closed down and control. This is a good-looking ball, although BoB is my go to with HK22 covers for the burn.
I like my Fate w same ReX pearl cover at 1500 on fresh but yes different core. I'm pretty speed dom and fate w polish just wasn't a great look for me. Near gutter, to responsive, moving left didn't start early enough, w polish. The ReX cover does seem to shine up ali faster then others I've tried at 1500-2000, but as long as I keep it rubbed up its def a look for me on fresh staying right.
I think Storm sorta shot themself in the foot when they came out with multiple posts regarding multiple different balls, but because neither ball had been announced yet everyone sorta conflated the “benchmark reinvented!” to be in reference to the LBO when it was actually about the Ion. It’s not surprising that you and others thought Storm was insinuating this ball as a benchmark when clearly it was always meant to be a strong cover burn ball.

Luis, what was the catalyst for making this determination? Naturally it’s going to be best polished and late in the block (game 3, game 4 etc) but given your other video (the video with surface) you were giddy that it rolled great. I give you credit for coming back on here and owning up to it but was curious what was it that changed your mind.

$190 isn't alot of money after drilling and finger grips and slug your looking at almost 300 which a bowling ball should be that is high performance
First off, this ball costs way too much period end of story. Next point yes now this ball fits you cause you adjusted its surface so it would fit your game and the way you bowl so out of the box this ball isn't the ball for you as you stated in your original video about this ball so in all actuality you were right about this ball originally and have nothing to admit being wrong about. You adjusted the surface to fit you and your game and now it's a good ball to have in your arsenal and bag. But it doesn't mean this ball is right for everyone and I personally wouldn't waste my time, money or effort on this ball it's just way overpriced in my book.
BUT, there's something about this ball. It is strong overall for some reason. If you haven't one, you won't know! So, sthu. Watching others is not the way you bowl guys. Layout...etc.
I watch others to see what the ball does and looks like then I work that off of how I throw the ball right now I'm stuck on the summit,vebo,and gold label

I've read that this ball is between The Road and Hy-Roadn but below the iQ Tour Ruby Pearl. Would you agree with this assessment?

The price is just too high when there's cheaper balls that fill this same slot. Maybe not exactly the same but similar enough to not pay the $180
