Nice pitch mix. Good velo and break. Trey isn't even on the Guards top 30 prospects. Maybe he can make that change. Good luck Trey, hope to see you in the bigs!
could just be because he’s pretty tall (6,4”), i did the same thing because it made it much easier to get into my backside and stay there a little longer. longer limbs mean longer distance to travel, so for me it helped to cheat by starting closed. that’s just a washed up D2 pitcher’s guess
The pitcher takes up the slack in their pitching motion from the first move instead of the first move being a big leg lift and twist its just a mid leg lift, makes him quicker to the plate potentially or is better for his mechanics and timing through the pitching motion.
I think he meant that the pitcher can let it go with no reservations because the catcher is there for him. Yall weirdos being all sensitive and shit. Both guys are getting work or maybe the catcher is on payroll. We dont know.
What's happening baby, there you go, that's what's happening baby, what's up right there, that's what's up right there, nah mean, know what I'm saying.

Ah another pitcher from that pitching factory they have in Cleveland 🤙💯🔥
This young pitcher looks almost there.
Can you provide some physiological context on what makes him a pitcher that benefits from coming to a closed off set position?

that sweeper looked like a swiffer.!. best pitch is his fb then cb. keep working on the others trey
I took that the pitcher was going to throw hard and give the catcher a possible bad day. Didnt see any disrespect
Is that Carter Spivey from ECU behind him?
Yep
Not the best look to start off a pen by saying that about the kid willing to be this dudes backstop. Catcher did a great job.
I just took it as them thinking the pitcher might be a bit off but maybe im crazy

You are seriously taking away the wrong impression.
Taking it the wrong way.
He just meant that Trey was going to be going for 98 that day and that his offspeed was nasty. Nothing personal against the catcher 😂
call him up and let's find out
What glove is that?
This catcher is going to have a bad day about 5 seconds earlier.
You know when the coach has tommy john that its a good school lol. Dudes going hard.
He's not recovering from Tommy John 😂

secret work his legs out and he would have a little more durability and stamina , its just a given
at 10 second mark isn't that how Michael Kopech blew out his elbow when he hit 110?
Hopefully Trey can join his fellow East Carolina Pirate Gavin Williams at the top level. Go Pirates!!
