- Today I installed my brand new YSS G362 fully adjustable rear shocks to my 2022 Honda Rebel. In this video, i do an unbox, talk through the install and show you how to adjust the chain to ensure it's within spec.

Excellent video! Meticulous and thorough. I have been looking for shocks for my Rebel 500...YSS is turning out to be about the only semi-affordable and useful option. I'm 5'10" and probably 192 lbs with all gear on. So although I am
a different size than you, everything you have said is applicable and useful. I just need to find the YSS that suits me. THANK YOU!

Thanks mate I'm co didn't those shocks will be suitable for your weight. It is approximately 7kg more than what I weight at that time with riding gear on. I didn't end up changing the front springs, just the oil weight. I didn't think it was needed for my weight
If I were to put a radiant shorty exhaust on my 500 would it be possible to put the YSS shocks on so the piggy backs are facing the other way? I’d like to be able to put saddlebags on when I need them with some easy brackets.
It looks like it would work with no factory exhaust hanger. Don't know anyone that has done it
How things goes after this shock installation? I hope to watch your review on the yss shocks sometimes 😉
They are really good, never looked back. And easier to move when reverse parking as the bike is slightly lower
Good one mate, I actually would like to increase the seat hight a bit. I am 5'11" and weigh 92kg. You mentioned the stock is around 30cm? What is the max height I would be able to get, any ideas will be great? And personally, I would prefer a Red spring, just to pop it out a bit.
These will go to 29.5cm height which is the stock height so you'd have to look at something like Burleigh they have coloured coils. YSS has colour options though👌
@@TweakedGSX This is a question that I would like to answer too, since I carry luggage (camping gear) almost all the time, and sometimes carry a passenger. So having a firmer rear (with more carry capacity) would be a good thing.
@@suzyamerica4679 I think these YSS would be suitable as you have full adjustability at the stock height.
So this Yss suspension mate can lower the suspension height?
