This is a must have part for the Honda Rebel, which in my opinion, was an overlooked feature missing from Honda.

thx for the video, the mod looks sick. love it! just worry that the plastic will melt as that area gets really hot. You also want to make sure the bike doesn't get hot temperature because less air running on that area.
Yes we saw that happen in a friend's non genuine part but she replaced it with genuine kspeed likenindid and it hasn't been a problem since. Genuine has heat reflective material and the material itself is better quality. No heat warpage whatsoever on genuine parts 👍

Hey mate! Loving your process so far and given ya a deserved sub. Been considering getting some parts but have been hesitant on shipping issues and whether individual parts match the original matte grey/black finish of the bike. Whatta you reckon on these issues after having lived through it??
Thanks for the sub and glad you're enjoying the build. The parts from kspeed have taken around 2 weeks to arrive from Thailand, and currently EMS Japan from webike is 3 weeks counting when it is normally 4 days. The kspeed parts are a perfect match for the axis grey metallic which is commonly referred to as the black 500 colour. All of the kspeed parts have fit perfect. Of all of the parts I would say the rear fender has been the hardest to fit. The actual fender is very tight to flex to line up the bolt holes for the brackets' 4 bolts.
@@TweakedGSX @Juzzie Evo X 2 weeks is pretty dang fast! Got my rebel with the brown seat and have been keen on getting the front engine cover and fuel tank cover. Videos have all the info I've been looking for man, especially as a fellow Aussie.

I have the Hepco & Becker engine guard installed when I got the bike and been wondering if this belly pan will fit with it. Might have to do some customizing to fit my bike, what do you think?
Unfortunately the handle like sides of that engine guard mean that only one bolt could tighten it. So it could work if you then Dremel out a section for the handle to slot into but it won't be as secure as a 2 bolt setup. In all honesty I think if you are more safety oriented it would be better to keep your engine guard
it went from an Okayish looking bike to a thing of buety. Problem for me is im getting A rebel 1100 this coming summer and i feel like it needs forward controls. Do you think its possible to put forwards on this bike with those fairings on?
Check with a guy called Dave takumi both on here and UA-cam. He sells from Thailand and has good content knowledge for the 1100👍 Sorry, I only know what works on the 500

No that's not it's purpose. It's for aesthetics to fill the massive void behind the front wheel

It does not
Personally, I find the modification (de gustibus) unattractive aesthetically. And then like this, the times for engine maintenance are lengthened, having to disassemble them first........ Greetings
All good. Each to their own. It takes maybe 5 minutes to remove the cover.
