I really like the fact that you do not have an intro you get right to the point and your closing is at the end and it is a wonderful closing with scripture. I really appreciate it and all the content and hard work you put into your videos.🐝🍯💛
I have this same machine but its a 5 liter. I have big dairy goats so I should of got the 7liter. One thing I noticed tho. When your done milking please do not pull the cups off the teats. Take the tube off the milking lid to release the pressure then most of the time the cups just fall off the teats. If not gently use your finger to release pressure of the teats :)
Looks easy enough; I was thinking at them for grazing front land and selling. I've never had goats milk nor cheese. Glad to know the milker comes in cow size also. Thank you for sharing. Be well and be safe. Peace.
I found your channel due to your DIY milker. That was a great idea. I didn't even know they made tiny milk machines like that. It looks pretty snazzy, all high falutin'.
Cute milking equipment glad it worked. You have been doing good around your place. About the trees where your goats are. I see a problem with bark on trees is gone they will die. If you are going to take them out OK.
I tried ordering a milker like that, they sent me an oven mitt instead. 😡 I have since heard that those milkers don't stand the test of time. Let us know how well it works over time. I did end up getting a completely different type of milker, which I will do a review on when my bottle calf is weaned off my dairy goat.
I watch this channel all the time. Learn alot from it. Very inspirational and UA-cam has been a great tool for learning. I wonder sometimes what UA-cam channels SSL family dad watches...
I hand milk a dexter cow and have looked into getting one of those inexpensive milkers before... I would be interested in seeing how you clean and sanitize the equipment with such thin hoses. Are there replacement parts readily available?
They look like common medical tubing or air tubing so that could easily be replaced. It comes with a thin brush on a wire also that can be used for cleaning
Well done brother. We’ve got a fainting female and a Nigerian dwarf male just as pets. Which is better for meat vs milk. We’ve been told Nigerian for milk and fainting for meat. Any thoughts? We don’t plan to butcher or milk these but weighing what animal assets are next. (Chickens, turkeys and ducks are our longest kept animals so far).
How do you like this milker years later? Now that you include washing, and cleanliness, sterilizing the tubes.. also has it given your girls teets any problems?
The one time I attempted to milk Laverne, A large Saanan Goat, she let me get the bucket about 3/4 full then she looked at me and deliberately placed her hind foot into the pail! When someone says that really gets my goat I know what they mean!
I'd suggest any time you touch her udders to milk at all, you should clean her udder and your hands as well. Mastitis could occur from any bacteria introduced from your hands, or her udder/tests. Medicating after the fact is no fun for anyone... Happy coating! I have nigis as well.
Dairy Animals produce 4 times the milk needed by their babies. I know of a farmer in VA in the 70's had a culled holstein nurse 8 bull calves 2 at a time, they all grew to be proftable steers. The cow did not reallyhave a problem but was culled for reasons unknown@@SadraBC
And I felt sorry for the goat ! She's pregnant, they milked her and she should have been released right away, otherwise you told her so much, and she was standing poor, squeezed in the feeder and waiting for when .finally, she will be released..?!
If you got dragged like that you wouldn't give any milk!!!!! You should put a dog leash on her & teach her on that, she will follow you right to the stand. You should also hand milk her to start her milk so as to not get any dirt in the milk.
She will follow fine after the first couple times. Goats do not lead with leashes, they learn that the stand is a place where they get pet and get food and they will start to run right up on their own.

I'll add an amen to all of that!
Amen

I am very glad there is a milking machine that pulsates and is inexpensive! It looks like it works very well. Thanks for sharing!
Me and hubby made your diy milker. It took about 5 minutes this morning and it works great.
I really enjoy your shows. I hope that it grows and grows.

Great video! I am glad the milking machine worked for you, makes life easier!

My wife bought the goat milker and it worked great, not sure if it went through your Amazon page or not to give you credit

Thumbs Up From The Dooley's of Michigan
It looks like rotating the feed box 90° would be easier for the goat to feed from. Her head pokes through quite far at times.

Nice. I hand milk our cow, a machine would be nice as it would make finding a homestead sitter so much easier. Congrats.

I like your channel and your little setup with the goat pen it's really nice goat's are awesome 👍👍👍
You might want to put a flat piece of plywood on the side where she's trying to step off that way you won't have to worry about her

Interesting ty!
How to you clean out the miler and tubes?
Those baby goats are so cute
Love the little lady
Where did you get this milker? Brand?
I love your videos and love goats ❤
Great video Been a while see you
Sir. How can you clean the milk hose after milking?
We just use hot water and it comes with a brush to use on the tubing

Are you going to be building a shelter for the winter months for milking?
Started a new shelter this week, won’t be for milking though. We only milk into the fall then she goes back with the buck for breeding
I was always told never say never...lol 😁
If you put that thing on the other end you can get maple syrup from her
I was told if you use a milking machine it will cause a leaky teat is that true
I have never had that happen to us
I have chickens and goats
I've seen people make velcro straps that they attach to the stand, and use to loosely hold their back hooves in place.
They will chill in about a month ofulking. Shouldn't be a freak out for either party. Patience

OK 4 in one in one in one in on
Put in the bio that the video doesnt start until after 6 minutes..
dragging the doe? seriously?
First
Much shorter videos, much less talking. Tighten it up
Imagine stealing a mother's milk.
How much of your own food do you produce?
Dairy Animals produce 4 times the milk needed by their babies. I know of a farmer in VA in the 70's had a culled holstein nurse 8 bull calves 2 at a time, they all grew to be proftable steers. The cow did not reallyhave a problem but was culled for reasons unknown@@SadraBC

She wasn't pregnant and she didn't seem at all distressed. 🙄
