Thank you SO MUCH for this video! I've watche da bunch of videos and read how-tos and this was by far the most approachable version (and the fewest cuts, which is great!!). I got my milking stand made thanks to you!!
Thank you so much, will be building this today or tomorrow, as I’ve got Nigerian dwarf kids coming in the next week and a half! If anyone wants some let me know!!!!!
Just made this under an hour and my goat is a first timer and she jumped right up and I milked her 😊 and let the kids drink also , which she wouldn’t before building the stand
Sincrerly appreciate this step by step - we have a Nubian that refuses to let us milk her, but she needs it AND some hoof maintenence. This will defientley allow us to keep her still so we can help her out.
Did this fit your nubian? I have one too, but she's quite tall compared to the goats here. Was hoping I could just use the same dimensions, but may need to change it?
What did you place on the top to secure both of the 2 by 4’s after they enclose around the goats head? For example, typically people have a second piece of wood to keep the tilted wood in place. Or they have chains to secure and latch them together. Do you have any advice on that? At the very end the video cuts off at the top so I could not see. Thanks by the way, excellent instructions!
Looks great. I'm going to build one this week. Just wondering how far apart are the 2x4 that hold the goats head, and what length lag screw did you use? Thanks you
That's awesome my friend! Well done. I see your subscriber count is cruising along. That's awesome to see. We're considering getting some goats within the next year or so. Baby steps. I need to lay the ground work, literally, before I can have a few.
Simple & easy how to. 👍 Just getting into goats now (Now that we have a prego Nanny, a young doe, 2 bottle babies + 1 OTW) Haha. Thanks for the simple tutorial. -Okie
Just built this set up! Started at 5pm Saturday and finished 4pm Sunday 10-20-24. Thank you!

Just finishing our chicken coop. The goat barn is next. We will SO be adding this inside, thank you!
I built this yesterday on my lunch hour. Thanks!!!
Used your guidelines to make my own milking station. Gonna test it out tonight on our really stubborn milker. 👍
This is AWESOME! Thank you SO much!! Just subscribed :)
Awesome design I’m about to buy a nanny may have to build a stand soon

Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Just coming here to say that we followed this plan exactly & it turned out great. Thank you so much
How many inches did you leave between the two boards that close on their neck?
Dude! Thank you
Thank you
Thank you! I am new to this, what kind of screws do you use?
Not the channel owner but you should use coated deck screws.
What fasteners do you use to assemble the stand? Thank you.
I'm using standard outdoor screws for most of it. 1-5/8". I used 3 inch deck screws for the frame.
Adorable!💗😺💗😺
❤❤❤
Great video! Followed your plans, built the stand in under an hour. I really appreciate you sharing your build.
🥰 cute
What if our goats have horns?
