The Allis Chalmers 916H 1690575 hydraulic lift tractor has a Kohler CH730S 25hp replacement engine instead of the original 16hp that came on it.
It is the equivalent to the Simplicity 7116 tractor.

I'm stoked because I just managed to buy a 42". Thank you so much for running a camera while you did this! According to the model number, that's a 916H. Do you remember if it had the 16HP motor? Reason being, I have a 912H, and the person I bought it from warned me that 12 might be underpowered for this attachment.

It did have the 16hp motor for sure! The customer had the RPM set really low on this otherwise it would have thrown twice as far. Some of the older guys don't like their stuff turned up. I talked to him about it but he asked me not to adjust it. I am sure with this running at the rpm it was your 12hp will probably run it good. Only one way to find out!

You might make a comment or anybody that's installing one of these you have to make sure that your pulleys and put in perpendicular actually linear with the frame of the tractor there's also a tab where that idler pulley goes in it can set off an angle for the lawnmower deck attachment it sits over at about 60° but it appears that this one's already set up with a pulley on the right tab that would be linear with the tractor frame it's important you can also hook up at 700 series Alice Chalmers or the other series whatever they call it in the simplicity if you get a wide pulley and use some washers to space it out far enough it will still work even though it's over at a 60° angle
That way you can just use the long belt all the way to the back and that belt I believe is 137 inches versus I think 148 it might've been 139 it's either 137 138 or 139 you might have to buy all three and figure out which one works the best on the 700 series but it is doable I think I have a video about it
