Ive got 2 older plane jane Regents. One with a single and one with a 2 stage. Both are very good at sending my snow into the neighbors yard or across the street
The hydraulic lift with down pressure is the ticket! We had that setup with our Simplicity Prestige with a similar blower and loved it. Thanks for the video!
Father in law has one of these 18 Hydro units with the 48” mower deck, parked for years. Robust, kind of odd design. 48” mower, but unfortunately no snow thrower. Turns out it was parked due to a belt damaging a hydraulic line (and it being kind of an extra tractor). Working on repairing it, basically for giggles.
I have that setup and the only thing I don't like is there is no shear pin. I guess Simplicity gets away with it because the belt is so long and has a spring loaded tension idler. I have used that machine for 30 years on an 1100 foot driveway and parking area.

Thanks for watching
Very nice! I love the older equipment. The hydrostatic drive lets you tailor the speed to the snow. Is it a chain under the side cover?
Remember guys, adding impeller kits really ups the level on how well they work
