Mike has the wonderful ability to ask the questions civilians (95% of his viewers) would ask, even though he's a warrior himself. And Tom was a fascinating guest!
I fucking hate to sound dramatic. But Tom’s humility and unashamed honesty he has shared in his book and verbally, literally saved my life. He’s a good man. I look up to him and it’s a long ways to look
Great interview! I like that Mike allows his guests to speak uninterrupted. Tom, thank you and your family for your sacrifice and service, and now serving our Vets alongside you wife🙏🇺🇸
"There's so much secret shit going on in the world, nobody cares..." Outstanding quote from the podcast. Keeping it real Mike, thanks. This is without a doubt one of the best interviews I've seen. For an SOF Veteran who's been involved with so much for so long, Tom is very, I don't want to say relaxed, but his composure is truly remarkable. He's walked through the valley, and has cast off the demons through healing himself. Bravo, and a crisp hand salute, Command Sergeant Major!
I love how the ineo has the canned macho line “We don’t care about your feelings” But the moment Tom starts talking about Mogadishu you can tell he feels it and that Mike cares about his feelings. Great interview! Thank you.
Tom, thank you for your service. Can't begin to imagine what hell you had to go through. May your fallen comrades be at peace and I truly hope the best for you and your family.
Mike, I’ve been following you since the beginning, along with Shawn Ryan. You guys introduced me to this world and I am fully invested in listening to these great warriors tell their stories. I owe you a debt of gratitude, so thank you. This was another great story of a great American hero, and 1 of my favorite spec ops guys to listen to. Thank you Tom for your service, and for what you do for our heroes. You and your wife are amazing and I look forward to meeting you one day. Great interview Mike. Choke yourself and have a great day.
Back in the day. He was on sofrep. The company that leaked the Niger helmet camera. I hope he's cut ties with that fraud owner. Mike seems like a squared-away guy 🤙🇺🇸
A fantastic interview. One of my favorite podcasts. Mike is absolutely one of the best interviewers period. He asks poignant questions and lets the interviewee talk without feeling the need to interject his own stories
Thank you, gentlemen, and those who served for watching my mates' backs. RIP E. D. "The Case man" Case SF and J. Lee 75th Rangers. From you brothers 1st ID HHC 1-16 Inf "Iron Ranger Medics..."
Always amazed at the professionalism and the respect in which you treat your guests, Mike. Incredible episode as always! Easily one of my favorites for sure!
I listened to this interview all day on and off I’m 71 years old today 7th Pearl Harbor never served my dad did Army motor pool station in Panama Canal running ammunition … God Bless you guys 🇺🇸
Mint episode. It’s helps with my own PTS issues to hear how someone is overcoming, dealing with their own mental health and what you and your wife are doing to help other people to overcome and move forward. Thank you Tom for your service to your great country and for sharing your story. It was great to listen to from down here in Tasmania, Australia. All the very best going forward. Thank you Mike for another awesome podcast.
It has been 2.5 years since I started listening to you guys, Shawn, Jocko, and you. Each of the warriors have taught me something about myself. The first was my TBI. I am a civilian, and how I got that. I thought my anger issues were from that. Well, well, watching Tom and his mannerisms was like watching myself in a mirror. Having PTS just doesnt seem possible, coming from the socioeconomics that I did. It also seemed like I was using it to blame something or someone else for my shit. And I couldnt relate to your war experiences, so why would I have PTS? It took me a month to get through Tom's interview. And I didnt find this until I saw Blackhawk Down for the first time. And then seeing and hearing Tom, and I see myself so much better. Now I have to figure out where the trauma was and admit it, and the shame I felt and fought. Thanks, guys, so much.
February my dad started dying at 90 with COPD. He passed in May, Memorial Friday. As a non conbat veteran he was given military honors next his bride, who passed in 1995. I was presented his flag by a Vietnam veteran. I dont deserve that honor. But I know where I got my PTS.
Tom is a good man. His honesty and openness about his life journey is remarkable. He’s an open book and does a lot for his brotherhood - very good dude.
My PTS, is not from combat. But from the first video I found of Tom and Jen and couple years back. I have learned so much about pts, why I am like I am. Their way of explaining it just slapped me up side the head, and I was like oh shit I get it. Tom and Jen Thank you !❤❤
@jamiehope4777 Thank you for your response. If you talk to Tom or Jen please please tell them I said thank you. I rewatch those older videos over and over. Jen is just a special person, her ways of putting things. I just really can't explain how much I look up to them.
@marcleblanc7021 Jen is a remarkable person and she would never call herself anything but she is a natural healer. Her passion of helping people is tireless. I will definitely share the message with them. You can imagine it can be taxing on them as well but when they get this feedback it encourages them as well.
@jamiehope4777 I can't even imagine the stress they have on their shoulders. Jen seems so caring, so I could only imagine how emotionally involved she gets with clients stories. I was so excited to see them on Mike drop.
Damn! This is one of the best interviews I’ve listened to with the CAG gents. I was literally watching Blackhawk Down on Netflix and this shows up on my feed. I had the privilege of meeting Gary Harrell about two years ago, not long before he passed away…but he told me about the artillery/mortar shell incident and a few other small details that not many knew about the real events that happened. I always feel truly thankful and lucky to get to hear the real guys tell these events. Rock on, much respect! SINE PARI
I have a 226, 225, 228, 220 and 239, all West German. Interesting to me that you think the 226 is that much better in reliability than the others. I have no clue because I’ve never had to abuse them, but it makes me wonder what the massive mechanical differences would be. For plinking at the range and being very well maintained- none of them has ever failed me.
Wow Mike, first time I’ve ran across you, I served in the 90’s, 2nd Ranger Battalion, at 19 straight out of R.I.P., we meet some Delta fellas we were in awe, they were like gods to us little g, not that they were God, but as I Ranger we really revered and respected them and wanted to be like them
Incredible to see the toughest of the tough take the time to be vulnerable so that others may benefit. Think about how many of the people Tom and Jen have worked with that didn’t kill themselves. Keep it up!
WOW ...just WOW ...this interview needs to be part of an educational process for all the civilians in our country. Tom and Jen are a true blessing to many. Incredible stuff...keep it up shipmate. Sk2 Longtin USN 79-85-
I just deeply love the way Mike Interviews and interacts and answers. Even having watched the epidode at Sean Ryan, Mikes Episode is more than worth watching every second - highest quality possible. Keep it up man
What a super interview. Two humble men talking about their extraordinary lives. Tom comes across as very humble and he doesnt look like much but thats sort of the point isnt it! The orignal grey man. Brilliant interview and thanks for the insight into the types of lives these men live.
A feeble old woman can kill. The comment doesn't look like much is very silly. No one knows what's in a man's heart. Tom Flattery was the smallest man who ever served in the military and was pure hell on the enemy. What you look like on the outside means absolutely 💩. It's what's on the inside that counts.
Another amazing show. Thank you for all you do Mike. I recently lost my dog after 13 years and your shows have been helping me pass the time and keep my mind off of it. Thanks for your service to this great country and thanks for your service with these videos. ❤💯💪
I love this man's perspective on selection. I never thought back on it as he has. On the other hand I do know it helped me train and be a trainer as a plumber, with apprentices later in life. Rangers Lead The Way!
Been following & watching since episode 1 ... Always have great guests, outstanding conversation & ask/allow them to tell their stories. Another American Hero & Badass, his story is super impressive and really interesting!
I have known a few dudes from the unit and worked with them. Their stories are exactly the same. Sad to hear guys that dedicated their lives to the security of our nation were treated so poorly and disrespected in such a fashion.
Enjoyed the conversation. It captured another first-person account of our recent military history and the effects this had on both the individuals and the culture of the community that we are coming to grips with. It is encouraging to see the support organizations stepping in to fill the gaps left after years and decades of service where these guys and girls give their all for our country.
Born n raised in Seymour, Indiana. I’ll always love this place! Birthplace of John Cougar. The way he described his childhood sounds exactly like mine. Southern upbringing with God, respect for elders, manners, love, all taught in my house. God Bless America! I’ve never served in the military, but I’ll fight however I can to protect my family, my friends and OUR freedoms 🇺🇸 Remember to be a warrior in your garden in these rough times. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
Last segment was rad. Thoughts - It's about becoming a complete human. In other words; all you can and ought to be. Secondly - you train up a dog but you raise children and a family. Incomparable. Period. Top shelf podcast and interview.
"US Army and Delta Force Veteran Tom Satterly and his spouse Jen Satterly are appreciated This dude speaking about Africa and his service is appreciated
Mike, not much for podcasts (time, they take a lot of it and I’ve never watched one completely) BUT I just watched all of the Tom Satterly podcast. Awesome. I like how you ask a question and you listen, you don’t interrupt like most of the hosts do. Thanks.
Amazing content! I really loved how he mentioned him and her did everything together. Then y’all talked about the DMT and she was right there during the entire interview. The whole time.

I agree I love how Mike doesn’t interrupt.
Tom has ALWAYS been one of my favorites to listen to. Thanks for having him on ❤

Outstanding quote from the podcast.
Keeping it real Mike, thanks. This is without a doubt one of the best interviews I've seen. He's walked through the valley, and has cast off the demons through healing himself.
Bravo, and a crisp hand salute, Command Sergeant Major!
I love how the ineo has the canned macho line “We don’t care about your feelings”
But the moment Tom starts talking about Mogadishu you can tell he feels it and that Mike cares about his feelings.
Great interview! Thank you.
Two OUTSTANDING Americans!!! Thank you both for spending your valuable time for doing this!!!!
Tom, thank you for your service. Can't begin to imagine what hell you had to go through. May your fallen comrades be at peace and I truly hope the best for you and your family.
Ive seen a couple podcasts with Tom Satterly. I dont think he has ever opened up like this. Wow!
He is a great storyteller thank you for having him on!!!

Same
I feel the same way. Some are great and some reminds me of what was sacrificed
Check out combat story as well. Great channel for stories.
Thank you Tom for your service and for the support and help that you are doing for other veterans 🇺🇸
Tom , Jen and Stacy save me from myself. I am forever in debt to them and “All Secure”.
Straight up honest genuine soldier. One of the most amazing humble soldiers.
Toms book “All Secure” is a must read. Check it out.. Dude is a Unit legend
Agreed. Great read!
It’s in the cart as we speak 💯🔥
100% it was a really good read
A fantastic interview. One of my favorite podcasts. Mike is absolutely one of the best interviewers period. He asks poignant questions and lets the interviewee talk without feeling the need to interject his own stories

The way he explains commanding the battlefield is incredible. That’s the experience at the unit that everyone looks up to 🇺🇸
Mint episode. Tom was hilarious. It's awesome for a normal guy to listen to these experiences and storytelling that even a movie can't depict.
Man, this is one of the best episodes you’ve put out. Thank you Mike and Tom.
Clint Emerson, Mike Glover and Jack Carr also have amazing book's and of course the Eddie Gallagher book will blow you away too!
Assuming you've read unF#ck America?
Tom is a good man. His honesty and openness about his life journey is remarkable. He’s an open book and does a lot for his brotherhood - very good dude.
The way you get people to talk and how you just get to listen to some of the most hardened war stories uninterrupted is unbelievable.
Tom's words about perspectives regarding joining a militia, who to trust, etc., are wise words. Stay frosty legit patriots.
Man, a truly powerful story. I sure hope you can convince Tom to return for another interview in the near future, Mike!
My PTS, is not from combat. But from the first video I found of Tom and Jen and couple years back. I have learned so much about pts, why I am like I am. Their way of explaining it just slapped me up side the head, and I was like oh shit I get it. Tom and Jen Thank you !❤❤

Now helping others find their path to peace ? Amazing Kudos

Thank you from an old army vet. Just really good stuff.
Just watched Tom's podcast here and on SRS. Both are pretty amazing. I was riveted to my TV. Thank you for sharing this hero's story🇺🇸
Amazing interview, with all that Tom's done the thing that comes across so genuinely is that we're all human.
Last segment was rad.
Thoughts - It's about becoming a complete human. In other words; all you can and ought to be.
