He was so right! My dad always said he would just like to go to Dignitas and end it all when he got old and doddery. He's 82 now and old and doddery and I see no sign of him wanting to make that trip, just a strong need to find out what condition he has (prob diabetes, which is odd as he's slim and cycled 100 miles a week the last 30 years!) and how to fix it!

Okay James, I'm with you! Im 79 and even though I have had asthma since a baby I do no meds and I don't eat until late afternoon. I do use a lot of herbs, vegetables and fruits. Distilled water, Himalayan salt, raw honey, gee and wild salmon. Occasional pizza, chilli and enchaladas on weekends. I hope to live and teach till I'm 120. I and my son are building a (somewhat compromised) Tiny House off-grid in Texas right now. Hope you'll visit me when I'm finished.

Ed, I would ask him what options do I have for my 2 year old boy with osteogenesis imperfecta, (brittle bone disease)
He’s missing the gene entirely that creates collagen. I’m on a mission to make his life the best I can.
It sounds like he’s had experience with genes etc. I get changing them via epigenetics, but is it possible to add a gene that is missing? Or have his body produce it in another way?

This is one of the most inspirational interviews i’ve heard with Dr Sinclair! I feel the joy and passion of his mission in this interview ! His information has given me the hope i had lost in the past few years. I’m 57 years old and started seeing aging in my 40s that i’ve gone to many doctors for, and they would all just say “ it’s part of getting older there’s nothing we can do about it” 🤯😓
I am hopeful and feel I have more inspiration to take my physiology, my mind, and purpose to being here to another level than I have in a long time. I had lost hope before. 🥺
I’m so grateful to find Dr. Sinclair’s messages and the pyrenees of his hearts mission is felt when he shares.
This is the first time i’ve seen your podcast Mr Mylett, Thank you for the interview!!! Thank you for being a bright light to bring information forward to the rest of us!! God bless you🙏🏻💖✨✨✨ Juhl Valecourt

Great interview and very informative. I would add another component to extending your life and that is in the area of the psychological. Most of us come from dysfunctional families and as a result we carry emotional wounds from childhood that affect the quality of our lives in a negative way. In my view, we are PavlovIan creatures who have little free choice because what we choose is based upon prior input. This programming must be changed in order to find real freedom from the past. I am almost 89 and have discovered secrets about relationship, misplaced anger and deep emotional wounds that drag us down. We all carry baggage from the past. I emptied my bag over 40 years ago, and life has been great. It also has an affect on how well I have aged. Self perception is essential.

Bringing up the problems family members might have and the applications for his research. I feel you could have made four other interviews about the subjects you covered. There was just so much. Dr Sinclair seemed so comfortable with you, talking to you like a brother. It made us all feel like family, you cared about of course and just wanted to inspire to be better and correct our mistakes. The most important thing I felt you spoke about was the results of these changes being living a pain free active old age. The misery I see older people go through was what made me draw the line on an undisciplined life. I’m ready to start a new chapter to my life and I want to thank you Ed for the encouragement your offering.

Your enthusiasm is infectious Ed, and of course I’m a huge listener to Dr Sinclair.
I’ve been on the same trajectory since my mid fourties, about 3 and a half decades ago.
I’m a former pro ski racer from back in the seventies when dual courses where the rage, did the endless winter thing, with winters in Vermont, racing and coaching at a private ski academy helping to cultivate young Olympic quality ski racers. Then summers in Chile racing on the South American circuit and coaching the Chilean national woman’s team in the early 70s, this also happened to coincide with the fall of Allende and the rise of the dictator Pinochet, and I was a front row witness of Allende’s supposed suicide by rockets launched from jet fighters.
Yes specific explosive strength with a focus on eccentric to isometric contraction in the right energy system and part of the ROM was paramount to power generation and specificity so I became obsessed with moment arms, force angles and myofibril enhancement systems, to maintain the ability of sliding filaments to cross-bridge and stay stronger for longer at the lengthened state. “ we must admit to the weakest before we can commit to the strongest”.So right away the focus was not on bodybuilding, although it did create some hypertrophy, but only enough to be sport specific, and ski racers are some of the strongest athletes on the planet dealing regularly with multiple G forces while traveling in excess of 70 mph.
Then came to the realization that yes the type of exercise was important but nowhere near as important as nutrition, remember this was in the 70s and up, so the whole focus back then was anti- oxidants.
Recently I’ve transitioned to a neurological approach with learning to train the brain and nervous system with fantastic results as far as regaining lost ranges of motion. Thanks Dr Eric Cobb and Z health.
Also now I’ve learned about the power of intermittent fasting and working out in a fasted state to accommodate a more efficient state of autophagy.
Grasping the concept of increasing brain plasticity, I started work as a pedicab operator on the Embarcadero in SanFrancisco about 6 years ago at the age of 67 and what a challenge that has been, you can only imagine.
So here we are, I’m feeling great at 73 and getting really excited about what Dr Sinclair is doing, but more important the reason he’s doing it.
There are so many scam artists including big pharma that this research in more valued to me, because the purpose isn’t instant capital gratification, although success will surely follow.
Ive never heard your podcast before but love your focus and enthusiasm.
I will subscribe to your channel.
    Thanks.
    Live long love strong,
    Karel.

And that motivates Sinclair to really lay it out and go down multiple pathways. I've learned shit here that isn't even mentioned in his book!

If you don't have acsess to NMN or NR, is it still a good idea to supplement directly with NADH?
It says it should be taken on an empty stomack in the morning, and perhaps I can fast as well for a few hours after consuming it.. And then break fast with a little meal, and add reservatrol and quercetin etc. to enhance the effects? Will that still be good? (Using NAD supplement, instead of NMN or NR, is basically what im asking). And if so, how can I best enhance the effects?

I just turned 70 and listening to that interview made me feel hopeful of all the advances in science that can be of help to mankind. Let’s just not forget that we have a God above who made man in his image and likeness thus equipping man to come up with these discoveries. God is the source of all knowledge and man must always acknowledge Him. That is also the answer to being happy on this earth and into the next life FOREVER.
Ed, you gave an excellent interview ! You intuitively asked all the questions your audience would like to know.
Dr. Sinclaire looked like such a humble man who is mainly interested in contributing something to the world. The world definitely needs more people like him. @CARINA I like your outlook. I think we would have such a better experience if we were more involved in our biology than just depending on scientists that are either under assisted, underqualified, or over ambitious to sell snake oil. When we follow these folks we have a better understanding than the lay person on this science. We need to add more value ourselves by providing some intellectual creativity that they may not possess. That is if we want to get more out of this existence other than obeying this natural law and the law of sociopathic man. Tell me what you think.
