June 28..2023. Making some for my great grand daughter. Their mom is out of the army now, so they are going to go live with her in Arizona. We are going to miss them. They have lived with their grandparents and spent a lot of time with me and their auntie and uncle.😥

Definitely doing these, they’re great. I’ve made several of the pockets with a side tie, I’m just loving using some of the beautiful books I’ve been getting from boot fairs. A couple of weeks ago, as the fair was packing up, the stall holder didn’t want to take everything home, so said everything was free and I got some most beautiful large flower books and bird books. Thankyou for the brilliant inspiration.xx

Just yesterday I recieved the stamps I'd ordered that would be absolutely perfect (perfect I tell ya') for stamping like you've done here. I can't draw worth a hill of beans but I can color stuff in as good as any 3rd grade I know. I love these envelopes Joie, really I do, and I can see hours flying by this afternoon when I have the house to myself and don't need to be accountable to anyone! ...daily chores already done, of course! I love using that kraft packing as wrapping...I also tear it up and add under bows as it adds interest. Stamp a name on it and it really shines in all it's humbleness 🤩

These are wonderful. I have made quite a few from free magazines whose pages I didn’t think were pretty, only to find that when folded and collaged, they were very nice. Making them in all sizes is great fun-I put some graduated sizes into a larger one, to give away to a friend. These are also great for storing and giving away ephemera.

Thank for for including the layout of your supplies. I'm always fumbling through stacks and containers (mostly smaller amazon boxes - LOL) and jars here and there and can't seem to place tools in a functional arrangement.

Thanks for these unique envelopes, Joie. I did something wrong that I haven't figured out yet and the corner points extend past the bottom and the inside of the flap. I was going to trim it, then realized it would make a great contrast just to fold them back over, which created a lovely little triangle design element. I don't like the white page border that shows on the outside of one of the flaps so I glued a lovely sisal rope decoration along it. The illustration on the pages I used were so busy, that the only element I added to the back was a light-colored bordered paper square that could be used to write an address. Now to figure out how to do this correctly :D
