My family has owned one since brand new in 2012. Great car and has never let us down once
I love my 2012 Mazda3. I have 300,000+ miles and it's still going. Hoping it keeps going for a couple more years.
Im at 200k now. I hope to get to where you are !
Good to hear! I'm looking at picking one up, if there's anything to look out for let me know
How has maintenance and repair costs been like in your recent years? How much per year?
I'm about to buy one at 300000km , did you recommend it In terme of engine life ? Its 1.6 mzr
@@BrianJohnson-kh7mgdid you get the car? If so how does it drive? And would you recommend it as a first car?
I don’t have a 2012 Mazda three but I have a 2010 and it’s one of the best vehicles I have driven
I have a 2010 as well absolutely love it
got a low mileage 2012 this august. love this car.
I've got one just like this. I need my headlights cleaned up. It's so fun with a manual transmission!
Same here 🙏... Only problem is that put $3500 of repairs 1 month after buying 😭
Ive had a 08 mazda 3 until 230k miles (it got Totaled) 11 mazda 3 @195K Miles and now i have a 12 mazda 3 i love it
It is so cute and happy! Look at that big smile!
It’s actually a great car🔥
are those security lugs or is that poor thing missing two lug nuts?
I can imagine this guy popping a champagne bottle and blasting
T I 🎶 "You can have whatever you want"
wow,skyactiv😮
I own a 2012 with a 6 speed manual that i bought new. Has 165k miles on it and I love it!
I've got the 2011 3s 6-speed hatchback. 215k on it so far and drives like a dream. Good road trip car. Never let me down.
I love my 2010 Mazda3 Hatch, but the reliability note has one big caveat. Mazda Automatic transmissions have a nasty tendency to have seals go bad... I bought mine with no codes and no symptoms and 90000 miles on it, and the transmission seals went within a month. So, if you can drive stick, get the manual. Other than that, it's a fantastic little car. I'm more fond of the styling for the harchback version though
Real
It's a pretty good car.i had a 2010.
The only complaints I have is the dash board was melting and the 5 speed automatic transmission module went bad but i had it fixed but I didn't trust it anymore so I traded it in for a 2024 Mazda 3 sedan.
Picking up a 2012 Mazdaspeed 3 hatchback Grand touring has the 2.3l dohc 16 valve turbo think gots some pep in its step especially for making 15 pounds of boost on stock internals crazy
6. Top speed is high
It’s like 132 which isn’t bad I’ve topped my manual 2012 Mazda 3 at 120
@@trevorcito 260 kmh/160 mph for full speed I meant
@@freakbob_419just cuz its on the dash dont mean it can do it
@@baboosethegreat9245trust me it can lol
@@s3ct0rxf0ur9I can’t seem to get past 180 kmh 😅
Im gonna pick this up by febuary im looking at this car has been attracting me since i was 9 and i really liked it since i sat inside my uncles 2011 model.
Got my 2011 in February haha
As long as you don't buy hatchback or a manual as they both had problems your good
That not what I've heard. Aside from a hatch recall, the manual is preferred to the automatic.
From what i understand the 5 speed manual is fine but the 6 speed manual is garbage and very unreliable plus idk why you would want the manual when the 6 speed automatic is more fuel efficient and more practical unless all you do is race around i guess@094340

You sound very ignorant.
Is a 2012 Mazda 3 Touring with 150k miles for $5k worth it?
Read the description ppl say mazda 3s are reliable as soon as they hit 120k miles you running into engine and transmission problems. I wa a looking at one 4k with 156k miles and the cel was on and it was misfiring and that by itself the mechanic wanted about a grand
It's all about maintenance and these cars are very well built and reliable
I prefer my 1st gen. Looks cuter to me. I've got 280k on mine with 50k on the 2.5 swap. It's everything I need in a car. I've already promised myself I'd drop 20k into someday. Gonna have a speed swapped sedan someday.
Can we talk about that missing lug nut for a second…. 😂
Nope, ignorance is bliss 😅
You're Eagle eyed man.
Just get a speed3 it’s worth it
Conseguí hoy un mazda 3 taurina 6 2012 velocidades a ver qué tan bueno sale ya que nunca eh comprado uno
Can the steering wheel be adjusted on this?
Yes bro, up, down, and deep👍👍
I can at least mention 3 reason not buy one: 1: Very bad original rust protection. 2. The nudge electric is vey annoying. Literally it beebs anytime. 3. The start-stop is unreliable, don't use it. Not to mention that Start- stop Systems are generally nonsense. Greetings from Germany.
Hmm 🤔😏 Let me buy 1 first then I'll make my decision 😁
Here's another reason to buy it: its not some piece of junk made in Mexico unlike some other cars
Had one. A tree fell on it :/
More reliable than Toyota!!
The 2012 literally has nothing but issues. Had it for 2 years and sunk 7k worth of work into it. And god forbid your tcm goes cause good luck finding one under $400
Is it a good idea to buy 2011 mazda 3.. it's 12 years old and driven upto 146 K kilometres
It should last over 400k km if taken care of. Take it from me - I bought an 18 year old car with 62k km on it and I love it!
yep
I got myself a 2013 with 123K drives like new.
@@javidmirza4584 lol I bought a 2012 with 123k kilometres on it this morning
Personally I waited until I found a 2012 skyactiv. It has much better fuel economy.
