Yes! Yes! Yes! After 19:30 is when it really started to emerge! Some people don't realize there is a method and a process for creating effective abstract art. I enjoyed observing your method and process! It looks like your feline supervisor is keeping a watchful eye on the situation.

Bravo, massive energy flowing creating extraordinary shapes and colours. I thought your painting on the left was finished when it was at the l incredible tapestry stage when it was all the glorious oranges, blacks, yellows and reds but onwards the paint flowed developing, extracting and blooming. @@lorimirabelliabstractartist I did that in this video too. It does get a bit frenetic watching at a faster pace, though I sometimes speed up watching on some channels so I don't spend all day. It makes the music go crazy. But mostly I don't like the music on UA-cam videos, and I absolutely can't stand when people play music over someone talking! So I turn the sound off and turn on Closed Captioning. If it's just someone talking I want to watch them, not read the script.
What a great video to kick start your first channel. I love the music, with the speed of your time lapse it almost appears your movements and brush strokes are keeping sync with the rhythm of the music, very fun to watch. What a process and I think your cat really approves. lol
haha thanks you for all the comments I hope it's ok that I just answer all of them in this one post 😂. There were 5 of these large canvases, I have only finished 2 of them. One is in a gallery in Denmark and the other one sold. At the end of these videos, the pieces weren't finished. I appreciate that you are taking the time to watch them 😊😊😊
I think you stopped at about 9:30 in this video with the left painting. It's really great at that point and to me personally better then at the end..but that's a thin line (: Love to see your work. Keep it up.
Thanks so much Marc! The end of this video was not the end of the painting. I wish I could paint a 6x7 foot piece in one sitting. This was me laying done colour, and getting this this started. I have only finished two this these huge pieces. One sold and the other is in a gallery in Denmark. At some point I'll get the other two finished. :) thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Hi Wendy! Sorry for the late reply. Yes trying out the youtube thing. It's a lot of work lol but I must get better at trying to remember to film the work. Miss you too.

Hi Lori, did you started the left painting with ink or was it with flow acrylic? Love your work , your dance and above all your spirit. Thanks for sharing your work 🌹
No ink I would only use on a little spot and probably never in a painting this large. Inks are super expensive and only come in a teeny tiny bottle. It was high flow golden paint.
i like the depth you create....do you do anything that requires the grasp of the realistic world and its shape and beauty, expl, portraits, landscapes , ect
Thanks I started out as a realism you can see a few examples in my video titled 50k Instagram followers etc. But I soon realized that it didn’t interest me because I already knew what the end painting was going to look like. A tree is a tree no matter how you paint. 🤣 abstract art allows me to create something that doesn’t exist until I put it onto canvas. There is no photo or image to reference so the challenge to me is greater.
Thanks lori! I did see that video. I guess I was wondering if you could use soft pastels in between layers or would pencils be the better choice? Thank you!
Wow! That’s huge and beautiful abstract painting. ☺️💕 Hello, I saw you at Art of Joy channel. By the way, I’m #82. God bless and please keep safe always.🙏🏻
Hi Andreas I don’t won’t wet on wet through a whole painting. It depends on how what effect of going for. Many times I will use hair dryer to dry my layers. Hey Lori.. Just spoke to you on IG... I always enjoy your videos... This was really fun too... But these aren't nearly as big as that one I commented about... Just assuming that you used a larger ladder... Love your work.

Both were awesome at 3:50 in.
Artist's repeatedly say they go too far and overwork a piece, I agree, I see it time and again.
My process is about layering. so at 3:50 it's it's nice But I would feel incredibly guilty to sell that with only 30 minutes effort into the painting.

Satin. I don't like shiny art. lol

How do you know when it is finished?
I think over time, it gets easier to tell. For me it's when my eye moves around the canvas and isn't annoyed by any parts.
That is true . A sense of peace when that occurs. I will try that Approach Thanks very much .
