    I grew up around artists and I have to say, it never gets old watching someone I respect/like as an artist, create. Fascinating.

    Yes! Yes! Yes! After 19:30 is when it really started to emerge!
    Some people don't realize there is a method and a process for creating effective abstract art. I enjoyed observing your method and process!
    It looks like your feline supervisor is keeping a watchful eye on the situation.

      Hahaha yesss that’s Lincoln. He was my side kick for 11 wonderful years. I lost him a few months ago. The studio is a little less bright without him. Sucks they don’t live longer.
      You are correct many people really don’t understand what goes into creating a painting.

I thought your painting on the left was finished when it was at the l incredible tapestry stage when it was all the glorious oranges, blacks, yellows and reds but onwards the paint flowed developing, extracting and blooming. @@lorimirabelliabstractartist I did that in this video too. It does get a bit frenetic watching at a faster pace, though I sometimes speed up watching on some channels so I don't spend all day. It makes the music go crazy. But mostly I don't like the music on UA-cam videos, and I absolutely can't stand when people play music over someone talking! So I turn the sound off and turn on Closed Captioning. If it's just someone talking I want to watch them, not read the script.

    I think you stopped at about 9:30 in this video with the left painting. It's really great at that point and to me personally better then at the end..but that's a thin line (: Love to see your work. Keep it up.

      Thanks so much Marc! The end of this video was not the end of the painting. I wish I could paint a 6x7 foot piece in one sitting. This was me laying done colour, and getting this this started. I have only finished two this these huge pieces. One sold and the other is in a gallery in Denmark. At some point I'll get the other two finished. :) thanks so much for watching and commenting.

    • @lorimirabelliabstractartist
      @lorimirabelliabstractartist  4 роки тому +2

      No ink I would only use on a little spot and probably never in a painting this large. Inks are super expensive and only come in a teeny tiny bottle. It was high flow golden paint.

    Both were awesome at 3:50 in.
    Artist's repeatedly say they go too far and overwork a piece, I agree, I see it time and again.

    • @lorimirabelliabstractartist
      @lorimirabelliabstractartist  3 роки тому +2

      My process is about layering. so at 3:50 it's it's nice But I would feel incredibly guilty to sell that with only 30 minutes effort into the painting.

  • @schnuppcatfish7777
    @schnuppcatfish7777 3 роки тому

    i like the depth you create....do you do anything that requires the grasp of the realistic world and its shape and beauty, expl, portraits, landscapes , ect

    • @lorimirabelliabstractartist
      @lorimirabelliabstractartist  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks I started out as a realism you can see a few examples in my video titled 50k Instagram followers etc. But I soon realized that it didn’t interest me because I already knew what the end painting was going to look like. A tree is a tree no matter how you paint. 🤣 abstract art allows me to create something that doesn’t exist until I put it onto canvas. There is no photo or image to reference so the challenge to me is greater.
