  • Well after 4 days I've stopped using the Apple Vision Pro for work. Ever since I was in high school I've had dual monitors and although you can have Vison OS apps and Mac OS mirroring at the same time it's just not the same. I really had the idea in my head that I'd have my actual Macbook screen and then two or three screens floating around it while at a coffee shop but that isn't the reality, virtual, augmented or otherwise.
For me, not being able to easily see my phone is an issue. Primarily because a lot of my work is testing Cheerful, the iPhone app that I co-founded.
If you have any questions, let me know via a comment.

Thank you! I’ve been curious what the long term effects are on eyes and curious what it can do to the brain too.
      Glad you’re saving your eyes!

Not so dumb. I can't have my Mac Finder on the Vision Pro or Photoshop and I typically have Final Cut Pro X on one Mac screen and then Photoshop on another while I edit.
If I just used Safari or Messages/Music/Slack on the other screen then this wouldn't be an issue for me Juan.
But thanks for calling this dumb!

@@Shouldigetit2 Files App can help you with Finder. You can have Photoshop and Final Cut in full screen on your Mac in separate full screens so you can swipe with yout trackpad back and forth.
Sorry for the dumb, but the way you oversimplify the issue knowing how many possibilities you have to overcome not having two screens seemed to me dumb specially spending 3500$!

@@Shouldigetit2 Its OK he's a cult member they go crazy if you leave the cult for any reason ! Just for the record I am an Apple user, I'm just not a fully paid up cult member. VR sucks BTW even with Apple magic pixie dust sprinkled on top.
