They are beautiful bikes. They look big. I have the medium 2022 Mondraker Super Foxy carbon 29" wheels 170 front and 160 rear. Its a medium bike but it looks like a large. For me it was like night and day because I use to ride the Santa Cruz superlight 26" tires. I am very happy with my Mondraker it feels just right.
Mondraker are making beautiful bikes. ❤️ I only seen one once in real life 2 years ago. It was a summum and a 15 year old kid was riding it. I was pretty jealous 😅
I own Monraker Chrono carbon for over 3 years now, and you are right, that blade top tube is amazing, everyone looks at it saying that it must break under load, but the frame is performing flawlessly, and im not being gentle with it, as i have bad habits from owning a full sus trail bike for 7 years before. I still keep eyeing the transition spur, that is one beautifully designed bike, but f-podium and raze are in play too as a replacement. I just miss the rear travel of full sus, but the weight of good HT feels amazing going uphill (mine is 9.5kg now)
Mondraker builds the best looking full suspension bikes. They might not be the lightest or ride the most efficient however they look downright gorgeous.
Don't see many reviews and info on Modraker's in the states. I enjoyed the video, tons of background information on the bike and design concepts without it being a commercial. Good work.
Love the yellow and silver. Unfortunately it’s quite hard to find reviews of Mondraker bikes and I rely on reviews when buying bikes since I usually can’t get test rides where I live. Also it seems that most of the Mondraker bikes don’t come with the MIND system anymore. Is this still available as an add on?
Beautiful bike and from the terrain shown, it‘s clear why they invented modern geometry. The description sounded like a description of my beloved Ibis Ripmo. A bike that can do more than the travel numbers suggest. Put a 35mm wheelset with thick casing Assegais on it and you have fun in the bike park, put a 30mm light wheelset with XC tires on and you almost have an XC bike (one where you don‘t have to look after the lockout)
I think that having more travel in front with bigger fork is what more bike brands should do plus that it just looks so good I wish I had the money to buy a Mondraker.
I’ve tested this bike at our LBS and it’s an absolute rocket. It also bunny hops amazingly! I ended up ordering the new Foxy Carbon R after testing Raze Carbon R and Alloy Foxy R. I will need the rear travel, but testing the Raze R confirmed that I want the Carbon Foxy R instead of older design Alloy Foxy R.
I am guessing that it being a rocket you mean it climbs really well? Also, did you not think the raze has enough rear travel? I want a raze but am a little concerned about only 135 rear travel. And even more so now that you said you are going with the foxy.
it's more about compliance than just 'flex'. If the bike is too stiff then it will not absorb any vibrations, trail buzz or impacts creating a bike which is just too stiff and bounces off ever bump shacking the rider to bits. A bit like carbon bars do, they designed to help reduce the 'buzz' from the road or trail as well. There's also a lot of forces to think about not just vertically as well but also load from cornering, sprinting etc.
Guys (and Anna of course). Please please please check the subtitles. They are full of foults. For the regular english speaking People no problemen, but if you are depending on it its really confusin to me. But for the rest great video. Greatings from the Netherlands.
Puzzled by comment about reduction of stem length and moving everything forwards and there being more weight on front wheel. Does the rider go forwards else there will be less on front wheel won’t it ?
Wait, putting the wheel further in front while massively reducing the stem length puts MORE weight on the front wheel? That's just not right though is it..? Driver gets put further back, wheel gets put further in front. Or is it perhaps a leverging effect where increasing the wheelbase means your weight being in front of the rear wheel will push a longer leverage down to the ground, thus increasing downward force on the front wheel? For sure the rider's weight bias is further back relative to the front wheel.
You’re somehow right, but they maybe forgot to mention that seattube angles get steeper. That way your body and weight moves forward and more in the center of the bike and wheels.
Ok, one serious comment and one not so... Firstly, when you comment on how wonderfully green Mondraker are for using cardboard packaging, it comes across as a tad lame when the bike you're looking at is made from an non-recyclable material. Yup, it's carbon and it does make brilliant looking, light bikes, but I think you'd have been better off not mentioning how environmentally friendly they are for using cardboard packaging. Secondly, would you please explain what a gentle poo tool is? 😆hint turn the subs on.
18:15 very cool bike, the only thing that makes me worry about quality is that these people have screens with step by step instructions of what to do... how is that considered an expert assembly? More logical way would be to dedicate one person who would assemble one section only and that person will be able to do it blindfolded in a month normally. Those screen instructions just make me think that they are possibly either using interns or some cheap labor and compensating that with step by step on screen instructions.
I cant even pre order one here in Australia , no stock or eta for the model Im after. Its killing me. Might have to fly to europe to get my hands on one !
A trail bike you say? I don't care about telemetry, set the bike up quick and dirty and just send it. Too much focus on marginal adjustments for something that likely won't be raced.
Man, Mondraker builds some truly beautiful machines.
They really do! The classic Mondraker frame design is great!
Definitely! Bought a 2018 Mondraker Dune frame for a song. Building it up now. Can't wait to shred it.

Nice work! I hope to see more bike brands covered like this in the future.
Thanks for the support!
Work of art in every aspect.. if it looks good it works good
Absolutely amazing leap into an incredible brand! Excellent video! 🤘
Glad you enjoyed! Thank you for the support!
That bike is so sick! Love the thought precess behind the design. And it's gorgeous!
It does look amazing! 👍
Mondraker are making beautiful bikes. ❤️
I only seen one once in real life 2 years ago.

Wow love the lines on that bike so sick and wow what a production line really like these bikes 👍🏼

A year on and he’s now working for them world works in funny ways
Amazing presentation. And Such a beautiful frame , i fell in love !!!
Great video! 🙌🏼
Absolutely love The HQ building, the style of the frames and the company’s ethos… Think i’m looking at my 1st full sussy! 🔥
I’m a fan! That bike is so well thought out. Can’t wait to see one in the wild.
Feckin love mondraker bikes 😍
Man, that aluminum one is my dream bike.
Same! 😍
Mondraker builds the best looking full suspension bikes. They might not be the lightest or ride the most efficient however they look downright gorgeous.
Wait, theres lighter bikes out there?? Their enduros are like 14kg
Anyone have a link for the open sourced bike box file? I'm super interested in seeing all the pieces.
That alloy proto is beautiful!
It really is beautiful! 🙌
Don't they sell an aluminum version of this bike?
Great work Doddy!! Mondraker are really kool 👌💯💯

Glad you enjoyed it!
I got a mondraker summum 10th anniversary edition downhill bike what a bike that is love mondraker bikes

absolutely stunning design. just built up my f-podium, need to dial it in and tear up the east bay hills.
Really think the aluminum prototype bike looks a lot better than carbon. Absolute stunner of a bike so friggin sexy
I think that having more travel in front with bigger fork is what more bike brands should do plus that it just looks so good I wish I had the money to buy a Mondraker.
Hey Erick! Long travel bikes certainly look more intimidating out on the trails, but, this does come with a weight penalty.

That shot at 0:51 is amazing!
Really enjoyed the video, great work, to you and the team.
owning a mondraker is my next goal i guess
Excellent! I'm still confused as to why a frame needs flex, to be rideable, on a full suspension bike?
Harshness

Hey Curtis! Pete below has summed it up quite well. 👍
Excellent info, thanks!
Nice video! May ask you… in your opinion the foxy alloy 29 2022 are the design and specs similar to the raze rr and super foxy models? Ty
Did I get it right? That Mondraker trail MTB is sold with that telemetry system. Thanks in advance!
This is the kind of videos i really love to watch 👍❤️
Thats great, Daniel! Thank you for the support!
How tall are you?
And is this Race a good climber?? From 1-10
Those bikes look so good!
Nice bikes and nice people 💪
Thats what MTB is all about! 🙌
Where are the frames produced? I own a Podium and I am really curious.

So, how did this Raze climb?
I'm stuck between a raze or a more chunky ransom enduro

Open source bike packaging? Where do I find it?
Love my Foxy Carbon R
I'm. 5 foot 10, what size would you recommend I get? I
I adore Mondraker…absolute trailblazers. Would never ever part from my 2017 alloy summum
Sweet front fender
Beautiful
those scalpel top tubes on Mondrakers always look so damn sexy
They really do!
Doddy, that’s not a small bike. But you make it look rather tiny
But what were your impressions of the bike Doddy? How did it ride and did it fit your style?
I think we are accidentally ddosing the Mondraker website. They're down right now 😅 I really like their design!
Mondraker, give Doddy a 32 inches bike please. He looks like on a 26" on that 29er...
Is this a bike review? When do you get to prototyping and production???
Ok, one serious comment and one not so... It's a tool you use when a poo won't flush. Sometimes you have to chop one up to make it go down the hole.

Nice, make a video on unno bikes
have to sell a body part to be able to buy one
I cant even pre order one here in Australia , no stock or eta for the model Im after. Its killing me. Might have to fly to europe to get my hands on one !
👍
Built-in ShockWiz.
Jay-zus they actually used 100% recyclable packaging as a selling point wtf
how did Doddy manage to say "things like electric motors balance bikes" without shaking his head in disgust?
Haha! We will never know, Peter! 😅
Aluminum for life..carbon im not sold on..
Cro Mo Bro 😎
the only thing that is not recyclable....is the bike!
secondd
#BringBackTheHunchBack
Doddy's new employer? 🤔
Guess I called that one then.
7th
Strong effort! 🙌 😂
Hä?1 For what?
Back end looks very inactive
A trail bike you say? I don't care about telemetry, set the bike up quick and dirty and just send it. Too much focus on marginal adjustments for something that likely won't be raced.
First!
Uh- huh; they call Taiwan- the rest is marketing.
Please stop calling anything above 65° "slack". Yeah, even for a trail bike. It's 2022!
Screw carbon.
I think we are accidentally ddosing the Mondraker website. They're down right now 😅 I really like their design!
