you've never killed them by yourself like Varian did though. You've had to have others help you whereas Varian didn't.

Varian gets take down only after killing an upgraded giant stealth insta-killer and a bunch of trash mobs whereas Vol'jin got 90% of his health taken by a trash mob and died on a chair.
Updated Fel Reavers.. must be even more sneakier than before too.
can you knock it off, Varian got taken down by two trash mobs. Sure he got killed by guldan but the same fucking thing took him down lol. At least Voljin got to appoint someone leader. His poor son didnt even get to say bye
Dude wtf is your problem.. "VICTORY OR DEATH!" Or in this case, run away.. Varian literally sacrificed himself for his people, he could have chosen another path but he decided to sacrifice himself for everyone all on the Skyfire.. he took down a fel reaver that is probably going to be a boss or world boss. :/ at least he went out fighting till the end.. LIKE AN ORC OR ANY OTHER HORDE MEMBER SHOULD.. unlike Vol'jin, Varian was stabbed twice and didn't fucking faint.. he died fighting for what he loved. So stop complaining lol, I play both factions btw so don't even try bitch about anything, Vol'jin was always my favorite Horde leader and I'm pissed off at the way he was killed too but you seriously need to calm the fuck down. MANY more deaths are to come so prepare your feels or in this case, clench your butt cheeks because it's going to get even more butt hurt.
Lol you should probably stop playing WoW. That is an orc and strictly an orc saying. It has no "horde" ties, it has orcs tie. Voljin was being a strategist. as the smart ones say time and time again we cant beat the legion by ourselves we need each other. So if the horde died so would have the alliance. Its called strategy, learn it as I have.
But Horde and Alliance basically had little to no communication.. so Alliance wasn't aware that they had to retreat, THANKS FORT LETTING THEM KNOW HORDE.. also this has nothing to do with playing the game, it's new lore.. quit being an ass over a cinematic. Orcs founded the Horde, they always all shout "Lok'tar O'gar" buddy.. it's not strictly for orcs, that's like saying cuss words are only for adults ages 21 and over.

You have got to play Horde side to see why they pulled out.

Hey Swifty! I'm unsure if anyone else has tweeted or left you a comment on this, but as a beta tester I can certify that in Stormheim there will be an area dedicated to mounted combat (which may I add, depending on what you mount, you will receive a special ability from the mount, and there's goats, bears and what not) on a cliff, where - to my knowledge - the main goal is to push the enemy off the cliff. It's gonna be awesome in my opinion! And I just thought of writing this since you stated that one of the funniest thing you could do in PvP was kicking people off mountains and cliffs. Anyhow, great video! Really enjoyed it, and no prob about the mic settings :P. See you in Legion!

Knocking people off cliffs is fun.
Knocking 40 man raids on the thunder bluff elevators with one blast wave as a mage was even more fun though
the week it came out and i did event and saw vol.jin and tirion and varrion die i couldent stop thinking about it for 2 days
Hey swifty, with the tank PVP talents, protts will be very competitive in an arena gameplay environment.
The african turtle cleeve (Prott warrior- Hunter- Healer) can definitely shine in this expansion.
It is such a surprise. Saddening for sure......and I play horde mostly. U need the do the horde QST line tho, it fills in some blanks.

I fucking cried during the cinematic.
So after reading comments i must say that those who write "Horde weaklings had to retreat fckin noobs!!!" or something like this, those ppl would be really bad leaders since they can't see bigger picture. Let's just assume that horde wouldn't retreat. Gul'dan would just send that fel reaver right on top on aliance heads and NOTHING would save them then there would be only horde on top of that hill completly surrounded by demons and aganist giant fel reaver. Take a wild guess what would happpen everyone but Sylvanas would die since she have some Val'kir and as you know they revived Sylvanas 2 times already. Result? Preety much same just with much bigger causalities. Conclusion? Without Sylvanas as great strategist everybody would die on Broken Shore.

Tirion Fordring is a way to much important character to just die "so simple" with out his own cinematic like King Varian got. He will be back! Maybe fel infused a bit, but you just wait and see. He will pop up when you kill last boss :D

The Horde had to retreat because the warchief got stabbed, was bleeding to death and he had to choose a new warchief.
Vol'jin=biggest PUG in the group. He gets taken down by a trash mob. If he weren't the warchief he'd of got an insta-kick.

Both leaders were attacked by a trash mob...but only voljin succumbed to the wounds of said trash mob. Varian got the short end of the stick and was blown to bits by Guldans fel juice.
Varian went full badass and killed a fel reaver by himself....Vol'jin died from a trash mob and died sitting on a chair.

how does fury have more survivability in pvp, when you take THIRTY percent more damage from everything during enrage (which fury has nearly full uptime of?). With a talent it gets reduced to 20%, still that's huge. From other players I've heard the opposite of what was said in this video: they said fury will be pvp unplayable but arms is mostly ok.

Wait isn't Swifty wrong about Arms being more dependant on Healers than Fury? I think that's bs cuz Fury will receive 30% more damage when enraged which makes them unplayable in rated PvP. Even Bajheera says so.
