I can hear Angelina's jazz coming through and it grabs your heart.
This is not just a new young singer breaking into the industry, this is a performance and delivery on a higher level than almost anything we’ve ever heard or seen before. She is a phenomenon of our time. Her range , breath control, vibrato
, rasp , control of her vocal runs and timing without fault. And most of these performances that affects so many of her listeners are not done in a studio with multiple takes and professional mixing. I’ve been a music lover for 50 years of my life and I’ve never encountered anything like this talent.
This actually went out live from the studio on UA-cam I was sat for 7 hours watching the clock ⏰ tick down I wasn’t going to miss Angelina actually singing live to us she said she had something special coming up for us but I honestly didn’t think I would be watching her live it was just an amazing feeling seeing her live right in front of my eyes my heart was beating so fast and when it got down to 10 seconds it was so emotional then one second ☝️ and there Angelina was in the studio singing live too us I’ll never forget it she was absolutely amazing I just can’t wait to see her live in concert I know when I do I’ll probably cry all the way through Love 💕 from Denise in Yorkshire England 🏴👼👸🏻⏰⏰⏰😢👏👏👏👏👏🥰👋

I am not ashame to say that I am 67 years old and music is been a very important part of my life because I love it.
I am not a musician or a singer, but I have some knowledge because I really enjoy music and is a very interesting topic. With that said, it is the first time that an artist move me so deeply and it happens when I listen to her with songs when she was seven years old, up to know. I tried to find an explanation, but I gave up. It is not necessary. I just have one heart and one soul and when it refers to music, they belong to Angelina. Let me enjoy the ride while it last because with her art, this little girl takes me to a place where I had never been before and I love it. MrLboyd, thank you for going to that place with me this time. I could have gone alone, but it is always nice to share it with somebody else besides Angelina and me. Visitors are welcome.

Respect Mr. Boyd, first time hearing our Angelina cover Adele's new release. She never lets me down, what a joy it's been watching her grow. First discovered her on Britain's got talent, her Bohemian rhapsody cover, became hooked. Have viewed many from a little girl, the youngest video I love is Fly me to the Moon ( frank Sinatra), she's walking with a white horse by the sea. Really worth checking out, and I'm talking child. She's grown into her teeth, adorable.

And she's only 15. Her vocals have been going leaps & bounds in this past year. When I think about how at the age of 3, she wanted to make singing her choice in life. I find that equally amazing as her vocal growth. How many 3yr olds have any idea what they want to do in life & actually follow through. To have that determination & discipline at that age, has given us such a phenomenal talent. I'm just happy to live long enough to watch & listen to her continued growth. She will turn the music industry on its ear.
We fans are fortunate to have the pleasure of watching a very rare, talented and beautiful flower blossoming before our eyes. I applaud the working relationship between Angelia and Republic Records. IMO, their marketing strategy of slowly bring Angelina along as she is still finishing her schooling is brilliant. I think all of Angelina’s fans can agree that we love the simple, intimate and uncluttered studio performances. With Angelina, less distractions are most certainly better. The B&W videos showcasing Angelina with just a piano, guitar and or cello demonstrates to the world that a vocal talent this special and extraordinary needs no digitally enhanced assistance or massaging.

Some have said that this is just a simple song but I think it's friggin hard to do right. One bad note or run and it all falls down... what I mean by bad is that Angelina had choices and in my opinion she picked well. Queen gave a huge praise with the words "WOW what a rendition". And Alan Walker said in an interview about Angelina "Nobody sings my songs as beautifully as Angelina". Republic Records should hire a songwriter for Angelina. So far I have seen over 20 negative comments saying that anybody can be a copycat, that she needs to come out with her own songs to prove she has talent. This is the first time this has happened that I can recall.

There is no way a non-jazz singer, even one has great as Adele,
can match the passionate responses of the current Queen of Jazz.
Using bits/inflections she has absorbed from jazz greats like
Billie Holiday (old school), and Amy Winehouse, the most unique
sounding jazz singer of all time, just allows her masterful singing
ability to pierce the human soul like no other ballad singer I have
ever heard in my life and I'm 75, having sung myself in a doo wop
group when I was young.
I was so amazed when I heard her on AGT.....she has an amazing voice.
I don't understand how perfect can become so much better yet here you have it! Angelina's way of musically maneuvering through the song phrases and adding her own to the lyrics is just so lovely and masterful add to that her heart of gold and I think we are experiencing the workings of a world talent that will be the best we have ever heard.

I really enjoy your reviews and your commentary and Angelina Jordan has been nothing short of absolutely incredible. I love listening to her and what she does with her voice. She seems like a very old soul but for me I really enjoy how she makes every song she sings her own and often times I have found I enjoy listening to those more then the originals. I am always on the look out for new talent and found another individual that in my opinion is very talented. I would love to see you review one of his videos like Marcin - Moonlight Sonata on One Guitar (Official Video) or his rendition of Fur Elise. Anyway keep up the awesome reviews, love watching them.

I'm a huge fan of Angelina's talents and abilities. But my 1st reaction when I heard that anyone already covered this song by Adele was allowed.
This comment will not go over well I'm guessing. I'm curious to know how this cover by Angelina will sit with the inner circle of Adele's people. Being it has only been a short time since it's release for one thing. Knowing that copyright issues have really strengthened the past few years on UA-cam. I'm surprised it's been OK to upload Adele's newest release in like 6 years. I don't know enough about how permissions work with labels or artists, but I assume Angelina's people must have gone through the process of getting them. It just surprises me that a cover so quickly would be either given permission to release or allowed if no permissions were sought after. The music industry is all about the money and if even a few dollars are shifted because of this cover, I'd be shocked if a label or even an Artist like Adele would be OK with it. But I guess I'm completely wrong in that thinking.
Edit: I just found another cover of this song by another great singer. So I guess it's OK to cover Adele's song. I still wonder how permissions work.

your comments are really always on point imho. as far as I could see in your playlist there are two songs still missing from her recent releases which are “ 7th heaven” great own song and the second is a cover of Billie Jean which is just amazing. so if you wish for your very welcome to give it a look.
There has not been enough time since Adele dropped the song for her to make any significant changes... but i truly believe this meant a lot for Angelina who normally does not rush to cover a new song. I think this touched her profoundly because of her scare with her grandma recently. And I think she is channeling that pain (different than the original pain that inspired Adele) to sing this song. I am speculating, mind you... but how else do you explain the pain that comes through in Angelina's verison?
My opinion.. Angelina has mastered so much vocal technique that she is able to convey the feeling in a song through her voice, breathy voice, vocal fry, vibrato, etc, she controls it all to perfection. It's not about personal life experience.

I believe that music, especially great music, evokes emotion, and the better the artist the more the emotion in the music is evoked. So Angelina draws the emotion out of the music, feels it, and communicates it to the listener. She may have never had the actual life experience the composer of the song had, the feeling is in the song. Angelina sang with soul at age six, before she could have had any life experience to base it on. Her own song Million Miles is about the loss of a family member and while it communicates great feeling, so does her other music. How she can do it so well may remain a mystery.😀

Nice reaction, thanks for that. If I can, I would suggest you look at the "Jazzy (Michael Jackson) Billie Jean" cover - for me one of the greatest examples of her musical genius. It displays her ability to not just "cover" a song, but make it her own, very personal version, and a completely new experience altogether.
