As others have said, thank you for pointing the flaws of the blueprint renovation system. Delay after tick is indeed a big no go, and it makes me wonder why the dev chose to do that. Probably inexperience with good coding practices.
It is indeed a very...interesting....choice.
You would get surprised if you knew that 90% of UE Marketplace assets are from dudes that watched an UA-cam tutorial, made some tweeks and are selling it. And the worst part is: those who buy it.
Rule of thumb: DO NOT buy Blueprints from Marketplace. Use marketplace only for artistic assets (3D models, animations, 2D assets etc.)

Wow I don't know if it's intentional but that rennovation simulator looks like a 1:1 rip off of House Flipper.
It was probably inspired by games like that for sure.

The 4k textures are burning my computer to the ground please help. I have no idea how to enable LODs on textures.
I would look into downscaling textures if they are too big for your needs.
You can downscale in the import section (If I'm not mistaken)
@@andrewsneacker1256 I tried that, but Textures don't seem to have reimport settings like that. I did manage to set the LODBias to something that doesn't give my computer a heart attack though!

No problem! Some assets were not as impressive as first glance would sugegst for sure.
