The Watson trade was almost a parody of Cleveland's ineptitude. It was not football-sound, financially irresponsible, and the most tone-deaf public relations disaster ever! Yet the Cleveland "bro" crowd tried to defend it: "Hey, he's not been convicted of a felony yet. All 28 of the accusers were probably lying," etc.
i dont see how that should be on that list. titans didnt have a QB to take advantage of a great Wide reciever. so they traded a 1st round WR for a 1st round WR and they didnt have to pay 100 milly for a 4 year contract

The thumbnail is a lie. The texans did not get Stroud as a result of the Watson trade. They used the browns draft pick that they got in 2023 on Will Anderson. Stroud was picked with the Texan's own #2 pick that they got for sucking in 2022.

Drafting is not trading. You get draft picks in many trades, but what you do with the picks is called drafting. A trade does not become better or worse if you draft well or poorly. It is all about drafting.
