Thank you! RaceKraft recently finished setting up the VNM DD onto one of their rigs so I should organise for some seat time with it. Truth be told, the Simagic lineup is so well filled out and time-proven it's very easy to recommend them. VNM is very new here, no roadmap has been announced for new steering wheels etc - but they are a passionate group of racers who really listen to their customers so I'm confident they will grow and support it well.
Thank you for the information and excellent video. I just purchased the V1 pedal set but have not installed it because I am waiting for the dampers before I do so I can finally move away from the csl pedals. I am looking forward to your review of the new wheelbase.
Nice one! The V1s are really nice, I'm surprised you haven't been tempted to put them on and use them in stock configuration first. I'm also really curious about the VNM DD driving experience, I'm impressed with what VNM has done with all of their products so far, and how quickly they implement changes based on feedback.
Nice. I think you should try them in stock form first before doing the damper mod. Then you can judge the difference. You might just end up liking the stock feel
Hey Alan. On Racing Beyond Matters video on the VNM lite pedals he mentioned about VNM making haptics in the future for pedals however I cant find any more info on this. Do you know anything?
Hi there, I have no official word on product development. The topic did come up in one of my conversations with VNM, so it's something that they've thought about - that's as much as I know so far. The Simagic HPRs have been mounted on my P1000s for a few months now and I still haven't turned them on 😂 I've been driving for 19 years without pedal haptics so I just never think to turn them on hahaha
Thanks Alec, this was very much a first impression as I only had 24 hours with them before I had to move the studio. But the first impressions are very good! I'll post an update video when I have more time with them :)
I'll have to look into it. Knowing VNM I expect it is an original design, but the mechanical concept is probably a well established one among other sequential designs out there.
Lo más importante es saber , los datos de encoder , mhz , Nm , velocidad m/s , cosas técnicas , si la base y software no van bien será una pieza más en el simracing😅
Hi Luis, I agree there's a lot about the wheelbase that I don't know yet. I personally don't care for the specification sheet - I just want to know how well it drives and I'll let you know as soon as I can!
You mentioned in the video a link to the unboxing of the V2 shifter but it is not on the details section of the video. Could you please share the link. Can't seem to find on the internet. Thanks!
Yeah I made the same observation too. One key difference is the backlit buttons on the VNM which make the wheel look much more deserving of a high price tag than the VRS But yes let's see where the price is set one it's official
@@DrAlanQuan The other thing is that the VNM has thumb encoders. It is beyond me how VRS didn't include those at this price point. Then there is the all metal construction. The VRS has a plastic housing, which actually makes noises when you twist the wheel.

Hi Willmar, I don't have price or release date information at the moment but it feels 100% ready. Shouldn't be long now. I don't think the Fanatec McLaren wheel is a good comparison.
