Thank you for touching on it solving the RS weight issues! As soon as I saw this wheel base I knew I wanted to ask you if the R12 solved that problem, and it does!
@@LaurenceDusoswa Awesome! As soon as some US partners have it on their store I’m going to order an R12 + RS! For me, a big selling point is the software. I know my dad won’t want to deal with any software that’s too tedious or unintuitive. The iOS integration is also a big appeal, since that’s a big barrier reduction to just take out his phone and tinker. Plus, the Acelith Simracing GT rim for the RS (Forged F30 RS mod) is cheap and seems like a great hold over before buying a GS (or future revision) later! I’m also a fan of how easy Moza makes enabling and disabling their hands-off protection. I think that’ll be particularly valuable as he learns to use the rig! Edit: It’s too bad you don’t do more cockpit reviews! No one has a good review on the TrakRacer R6 in its current edition up. But I imagine that routine cockpit reviews would stress storage space.

Great video! Moza is making some nice strides in hardware and software. I'm currently running a Simagic wheelbase with Fanatec pedals, shifter and handbrake. The ease of updating firmware for devices that Moza is displaying has me reconsidering my upgrade path. Seems Fanatec is being overtaken by all these other brands hitting the market. Great to have more options in hardware. Simagic's software has given me headaches too many times. Same with Fanatec's software/firmware updates. Both need massive improvement. Moza is coming with some bang for buck hardware! Other manufacturers will need to keep up. Fanatec...👀 Thanks again for the review LD!
Picked up my Moza R12 the other day & while in store I had a quick go on one of their R5 mounted rigs (having never tried a DD setup before) and yep......I was blown away by how good the R5 was vs my old logitech G25. I tell ya man that R12 sure give ya arms a work out, had to turn it down on a few occasions lol
The KS wheel being compatible with other wheelbases via the "Universal Hub" is huge. For $329 + shipping... sheesh. Considering Buying the VRS DFP or the Moza R12.
I moved from a logitech DFP to an R9 a few months ago, and have only been running it at 60-70%. I'm not sure I'll need to use 100% of the R9, especially for longer races, but an R12 would cover everything. I'm also glad to see a GT rim on the same level as the CS wheel I use. I've been really happy with my moza setup, and their community engagement on their discord feels like they want to make products that we want to buy (common sense, right?)
and women :D All of the people I have dealt with at Moza have been women. Besides that, I do think it's easy for us to sit here and judge when we actually don't know anything about the structures of these companies.
@@LaurenceDusoswa Good deal. I’m not bagging on anyone personally it’s just that it seems all of the sim equipment come with Ferrari prices. It would be nice to see some reasonable pricing across the board. Didn’t mean to offend you
Completely agree. There's this feeling of "egomaniacal circlejerk" I just can't shake with a lot of these guys - Moza just listen to their users, release good shit, and get on with it. I don't need to know the CEO's life story.
i just upgraded my whole sim rig from a tspc and t3pa pro pedals on a cheap gt omega ART cockpit. i didnt want to start buying into a brands ecosystem then have to switch half way through. i prefer everything to match. IMO mozas wheels all look cheap and ugly. once you are buying their best pedals and the r12 youre spending a good amount of money. so simagic is really in the same budget give or take. the simagic ecosystem is probably the best out there. the wheel selection is amazing. the quality and craftsmanship is amazing. i went with alpha 15nm wheelbase, fx pro wheel, p2000 pedals with haptics, q1 sequential shifter, ds8x shifter and hydro handbrake. top notch stuff
I have both the R12, FSR, KS and RS V2. And i think I've reached the point where i have everything covered from drifting to hardcore prototype racing in iracing. The R12 is an incredible wheelbase, it absolutely hits the sweet spot, i always use it on 100% ffb intensity in the pithouse software but i do dial down the settings in the game, this thing is actually a workout! Especially in tracks where you are turning the wheel a lot like Daytona. You absolutely don't need more than the R12, unless you are worried about ffb clipping which does happen in the R12, but its quite rare, as matter of fact i actually don't remember when was the last time it clipped, it also clips just a tiny bit, to the point where its not a problem in the slightest. It does get pretty toasty but you really have to push it hard and play in a poorly air conditioned room to get it to become quite warm to the touch, but even if you do all of that, it will never overheat. So far i am extremely happy with this purchase, more so than the R9 which wasn't great at 100% because it lost ffb due to overheating. As for the KS it is a thing of beauty, the rubber grips feel fantastic and all of those buttons and dials feel incredible, i don't see any compromises made in the KS. But its not my main wheel, i mostly use the FSR because it is eye-pleasing, even though i am mainly a VR user i do tend to pick it up and admire it. I know some people will think its crazy that i bought a wheel with a screen just to play in VR, but i need an 280mm wheel which is perfect for me. Anyways Moza is killing it and i don't think they are done impressing us, I'm sure fanatec are salty rn because of the progress that Moza made jn less than two years
The KS Wheel is great, but factoring the CRP pedals' reputation and the fact the RS-D (which was the D-Shaped version of the RS V1) was discontinued, I'd rather go with Simagic.
Here in the U.S the alpha mini is $540 while the r12 is $590. My r9 v1 just encountered an issue so I pulled the trigger on the alpha mini. Gonna be using an nrg rim on it with the moza quick release.
This looks really good, and would probably be an obvious option for most going forward. I've already pulled the trigger on an Alpha mini since I got a good deal second hand, but this would've probably been what I'd pick instead if it had been available at the time. Though saying that, it likely wouldn't even be up for sale without importing, which is stupid expensive...
Oh man. This is phenomenal news. Just as I was looking through Moza stuff to finally upgrade from TM and on the back of your TM review, this seems a no brainer. Best priced open wheel rim on the market?
Moza makes amazing stuff i just bought a R5 bundle 2 weeks ago to replace my Logitech g29 and shifter i just got the cs wheel i can't believe how well it is made and don't get me started on the hgp shifter it feels the best outta every shifter ive ever used even the fanatec one i did get the th8a shifter not knowing microcenter had the hgp in stock when i went to buy this setup so ended up with the th8a but found out and quickly returned it for the hgp and I'm very glad i did good if it good best feeling shifts ever in sim racing especially at that price point it punches well above it's weight it makes the thrustmaster th8a feel like a child toy the fanatec is there only one ive used that comes close but at $100 more than the hgp i couldn't bring myself to pay that for just sequential and the degradation in shift quality from buying the fanatec off we ring over the moza hgp its so work the $150 Moza stuff is made so so well if your on the fence over getting into Moza don't think just buy it it's incredible ill eventually get a R12 and crp pedals in the future and who knows what else they'll l have out at that point when i am ready to upgrade again Oh and the pit house software is amazing to you have control of everything
The only thing I don't like about this review is that you are putting the Moza Hardware directly on concrete while talking about how well packaged they are when shipping. I understand you have a lot of products here and you may be dealing with limited space. The natural lighting of the sun definitely helps highlight the details of the products. But maybe there's another way you could have displayed them? Otherwise, great review with good detail and fantastic punctuation.
Hahaha it’s part of what makes this channel different. People recognise my content for it and it’s not going to change any time soon. And I don’t scratch it along the concrete. It does get minor marking but nothing major. This hardware is just tools for the job. I usually give it to my community :) I never resell it. It cannot have value to me directly as it might be seen to impact the review. Thanks for the kind words.
Yooooooo, that wheel is what i´ve been waiting for, i didn´t want to burn 500 euros on the formula ones and wanted one for GT, awesome pricing. Can´t wait for it to reach my country.
Simagic already released quite a few wheels earlier.. Moza was actually already late.. the funny thing is both Moza and Simagic copied something from cube controls.. the buttons in Moza KS and the Knobs from Simagic FX-Pro. What annoys me with this wheel tho that it doesnt rotate at the center so it looks a bit wobbly when you spin the wheel..
@@LaurenceDusoswa I barely touch anything in the software tho.. and its not something you would fiddle while playing in-game its a set once and forget. So the physical hardware and electronics still play a big part. I also almost went for the Moza but due to logistics problem I had to go Simagic and am quite happy..
@@LaurenceDusoswa Agreed. I haven't had any issues with my Simagic setup so far, the hardware is a joy to use, but the software leaves a bit to be desired. Hopefully the full release of the new 2.0 software improves things
I've seen a few comments on Moza R9 overheating when used for long periods to the point of being dangerous. I'm hoping for some reviews on the heat issues of R9, R12, etc. I guess we need someone to use these for long periods and measure the heat.
I was thinking about getting a new round rim... Those Moza rims are tempting me. I'll have to get the hub to work with the Alpha U but the price is super nice. Great review as always LD.
The alpha mini has been tested and puts out a peak torque of 13.5nm of torque consistently... Its advertised as 10nm for some odd reason but i'm assuming thats due to marketing; the upper alpha (15nm) base is advertised as 15nm so im assuming thats why the mini is advertised as 10nm to make a difference in pricing.. But Simagic definitely is still above moza :)
I cannot say anything bad about Moza. They make very attractive gear. Too bad I hitched my wagon to the large slow moving horse. If the wheelbase I have craps out, I'm replacing it with an R12 and the round mid priced wheel.
Moza is making it increasingly more difficult not to buy their wheelbases and rims. This one is on my wish list for sure. Any thoughts on when or if they will release some new pedals? Surely they wont rest until they have a stranglehold on this segment of the market.
I would love to see a kickass set of pedals from them. It’s one area they’re lacking in. Taking Simagic as an example, Simagic is kicking MOZA’s ass in the pedals sector of the market
Simagic is really napping by not releasing a cheap 150€-200€ wheel. Wheels cost almost as much as the base. Might be their way of compensating for the price of the bases but it's just a dealbreaker for me.
I'd love to use the KS with my Cammus base, I was excited to hear the QR is compatible, do you still have the Cammus base to verify the fit? Unclear on the Moza site is whether you need the universal adapter. Did the KS come with some kind of USB adapter? I only see an RJ45 type connector in the pictures of the wheel.
@@LaurenceDusoswa I ended up getting the KS with the universal hub from Moza. The KS did not fit the Cammus base as is so I swapped in the Moza hub adapter, the Cammus wheel fit's it just fine. A little hot glue to hold the Cammus power contact for the Cammus wheel and bingo! Both wheels work on the Cammus base. I did remove the pins from the KS to be safe, as the KS is getting power from the universal hub. The KS feels great, much lighter than the Cammus wheel, so feeling more detail from the base. Love it!
Very cool to see such offerings coming on the market. This would be something I'd jump on from my CSW Fanatec with Porsche RSR wheel, but I am just in love with the wheel too much to let it go and switch to another 'eco-system' ;]
Both great options! I think the alpha mini has a little more power. But the moza wheels are super nice. So go with the one with the nicest wheels for your needs
Simagic napping? The R12 is slightly better than the R9. But it's an unecessary middleground, when you can go for the R16 and actually make a bit more difference. Or R21 if you really want a workout.
@@LaurenceDusoswa Fair enough, in that case I understand better! I've never used any other wheel than Logitech and Moza, but I do love the Moza. So easy/fast to test settings, but more importantly to get them good.
Don’t worry too much. It’s SUPER close :) the alpha mini is awesome too. The gt4 rim is one of my favourites. Lovely buttons, great 7 way hats. The new moza KS is unreal value. It’s very good value. But it’s not at the quality of the GT4 rim.
This is what i wanted when i bought my DD2. Yea it seems intelated but had this been available it would have been my choice. I do like my dd2 though :)
@@LaurenceDusoswa it is am absolute beast, love it. Using the Mc Laren GT3. Is all right but i do want something more worthy of the Dd2. This Moza KS looks legit given that the adapter works well and is not flimsy or something like that

Laurence, you misread your measurement of the mounting bolts 😂 they're 15mm not 150mm. Bringing out a bag of 150mm bolts to mount a wheelbase would sure be interesting😂

@@JuniorSwingmanI got the R5 bundle and it works perfectly on the PS5 with the Ras1ution2 adapter. But I'm also upgrading my PC so I can get back on PC racing. Best of both worlds with only 1 shared rig setup needed. Thinking of just getting a pre-built and be done with it, but building pc is fun too. Sounds like you're having same thoughts as I have.
@@JuniorSwingman feels amazing, zero input lag. Feel all the bumps and road textures, curbs, grass, sand etc. I think the reason why there's no input lag is because the adapter doesn't actually process input data but just tricks the PS5 into thinking it's a logitech to accept it. I don't know the actual inner workings of the adapter, I'm just guessing. It just works. You do have to go into Moza pithouse software and tweak some settings to get the most out of it though, you can't just turn everything to max and clip the signal. Once it's dialed in it's awesome.
I don't know about Simagic being "caught napping". Simagic already have great offerings and IMO a little better quality by the look of it. Great to see the competition though. And great vid as usual Laurence!
It's mainly the software that I'm referring to really. And people need to see that there's more out there than just Simagic too. It's great to have the competition. Thanks for the comment.
Hi Laurence. I currently own a Simagic Alpha Mini and i was wondering if i can buy the Moza KS wheel and connect the Moza KS with the Moza QR on the Simagic base without damaging the pins in the Simagic base?
The cs wheel is great mine just arrived today the quality of its build is next level its entirely made off aluminum and forged carbon fiber paddles this wheel is understand at this price point nothing competes with it at $249 US fanatec has e club sport rs wheel but again its $349 these other companies should be scared really scared Moza is going to do big big things im sure of that
Hi Laurence, can you compare KS vs GS V2? I wish to buy R12 and need to make such decision. What will I lost if I choice to save money to choose KS over GS? Need your help! Thanks a lot!
If both were the same price, it would be the GS without a doubt. It's a glorious steering wheel. However, the only major difference is the quality of materials used and it has more functionality than the KS. If that's worth the money for you, then definitely the GS. You will not be unhappy with either one but if you buy the KS you will always wonder about the GS :D
Great video, i am seriously considering selling my Fanatec set up. Just a couple of questions if i may. Are the Moza line up compatible with PS5 and GT7, also, do Moza sell pedal sets, cheers.
Moza is not console compatible :( they co have pedal sets. I only reviewed their cheapest pedals and they were functional but absolutely nothing special
I'm looking at the 12-15nm ballpark with a formula rim and loadcell pedals and the race between Simagic and Asetek just got a bit more competitive with Moza joining. The La Prima bundle suddenly doesn't look as cheap anymore, €309 for this wheel looks crazy. How would you compare the FFB detail between the Asetek Forte, Simagic Alpha and a Moza equivalent (R16 or R12)?
Great question. The FFB is similar to be honest. What we get from current sims is very well conveyed by each of them. The higher you go with Nm of torque, the less difference I can feel between products. So go for the one with the best wheels for your preference, mounting options, quick release, software, etc.
Asetek just lowered their prices again. You can now go to microcenter and get both the moza r12 or Asetek LaPrima for the same price. Aseteks higher end wheel is also now $299 at micro center
@@katanamd most likely just your local Microcenter getting rid of stocks because prices are unchanged on their website and on the local resellers in Europe
Got a question regarding FFB. Everybody says that Alpha Mini has 12.5nm, even if it's marketed as 10nm. However, I heard that the initial products had a different PSU with higher wattage. Is it possible that the first shipped Alpha Minis had a more powerful motor and the latest ones are actually only 10nm, making the R12 actually a winner here? I'm currently on T300 looking to upgrade to Alpha Mini, but this gave me some mixed feelings.
My alpha mini has shat itself from the internals a while ago (after the base has been heat soaked it produces a very loud audible click every 5mm you turn the wheel. The noise is pretty much the exact same as what you hear when you spin those lucky draw wheels), I'll drive this alpha mini until it completely stops working but my next upgrade will probably be from Moza. From a value standpoint they're far above simagic, the GT4 wheel I got from simagic is $699 (without a hand clutch) and the ks wheel from Moza is just $400 for me, and it has just as many buttons (if not more with the hand clutches). Also simagic's 1 year warranty and the push to have the distributor take care of your problems is pretty big con. btw my alpha mini started showing its defect right after the 1 year mark which is just great lol
Hey I got a t300 so if I were to upgrade to the R12 should I get the GS or KS wheel? I mainly race F1 and working on getting into gt3 and gt4 in iRacing
hi there i recently purchased my SRP pedals and have come across an issue where my pedals would disconnect from the pithouse software while in use and would stick my inputs momentarily and its been cuasing me allot of headaches trying to solve this issue, can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this
Man I was going to save up for a GRID MPX, but this may be too good of a value to pass up. Would there be any need (or benefit) to using the Moza software if using the adapter with a SC2 pro? I’m guessing button mapping and advanced lighting?
The ks or gs wheel might happen soon i gotta decide or get the formula mod for my es wheel which will honestly happen even if i get the ks or gs because it's so cheap ill do my GT racing stuff with the ks or gs when i get it and drift and really with the cs build quality is superb fanatec equivalent wheel the club sports rs cost $349 which is $100 more than the moza cs you might pay a little more to enter the Moza family at first but mods wheels and accessories cost a good deal less than the completion it more than evens out in the end
Asetek La Prima - 12NM, noticeably better FFB, only *750eur, bundled with 300eur wheel (1050eur) + option to jump to 16NM via upgrade (it is not about NM, but about speed aka NM/sec aka slew rate).
@@LaurenceDusoswa In the big comparison video you say that the La Prima is very similar to the Alpha Mini, and in here you say that the Alpha Mini is very similar to the R12. So how can the La Prima be A LOT better than the R12?

I'm thinking either r9v2 or simagic alpha mini, Thinking r9v2 because of the price is arround 415usd, power consumption, and because i still have no proper rig only aliex 1 (idk if it'll hold up or wobbly mess) and for alpha mini around 561usd But many rumors about moza is overheating issues and some headache issues "not the worth" they said. But now seeing rumors about simagic with their software is less than moza. which should i buy? Help.. My current sim: G29 steer, moza h shifter, simjackpro pedals, hb aliex, aliex rig (copy cat cheapest lineup from NLR). (and for the next base i'm using some cheap steer from car and i already bought moza qr and moza seq shifter because it's on promo.) (I don't mind if i need to use 2 software or anything, if i need to use simagic or moza base but which is better?)
How is the the power vs the Alpha Mini? The R12 is 12NM while the Mini is 10 but people have tested it to be 13NM. The KS Wheel is insanely valuable, I've been looking for a Formula wheel for my Mini for such a long time.
Not necessarily, high end wheels still of amazing quality/customization/durability and power overhead. This brings along the thought process of buy once and never bother with upgrades. But for most people, low end is a good option. Moza r12 has a good amount of power and perfect for many but its a new product so we don't know how long it will last with durability. For many 12nm is still a bit to low, personally after using a simagic mini for a few years and 10nm is fine but I would like more around 20nm. Having overhead for clipping has been a big issue for me because I like to run high force feedback. I'm not knocking Moza but its early days and it looks like they have been moving in a good direction.
I'm desperate for a reason not to invest in the Moza ecosystem at this point. I'm ready for the move into DD and just need to finalize a loan from the bank. I can't find a reason not to get the R12 and the KS and ES wheels. Between the rig I'm looking at (ASR1) and the desktop PC, I'm looking at $3500 CAD all in on a full setup upgrade from my TMX and NLR GT-Lite. And for what I'm planning on doing with it, I can't see needing to upgrade anything at any point in the future besides a couple PC parts as games improve.
I would have a good hard think about how much you currently enjoy sim racing before taking out a loan for a couple of thousand dollars. Going into debt for a hobby is really not a good idea generally.

Simagic Alpha Mini is far better 🤷♂️
i just upgraded my whole sim rig from a tspc and t3pa pro pedals on a cheap gt omega ART cockpit. i didnt want to start buying into a brands ecosystem then have to switch half way through. i prefer everything to match.
I think you made a good choice. That's generally my recommendation for people in your position.
Anyways Moza is killing it and i don't think they are done impressing us, I'm sure fanatec are salty rn because of the progress that Moza made jn less than two years
What pedals do you use?
The KS Wheel is great, but factoring the CRP pedals' reputation and the fact the RS-D (which was the D-Shaped version of the RS V1) was discontinued, I'd rather go with Simagic.
Understandable for sure
Here in the U.S the alpha mini is $540 while the r12 is $590. My r9 v1 just encountered an issue so I pulled the trigger on the alpha mini. Gonna be using an nrg rim on it with the moza quick release.
Nice! Good value!
This looks really good, and would probably be an obvious option for most going forward. I've already pulled the trigger on an Alpha mini since I got a good deal second hand, but this would've probably been what I'd pick instead if it had been available at the time. Though saying that, it likely wouldn't even be up for sale without importing, which is stupid expensive...
the alpha mini is amazing. The software will get better. I think that if simagic had the moza software, they'd regain the lead
Oh man. This is phenomenal news. Just as I was looking through Moza stuff to finally upgrade from TM and on the back of your TM review, this seems a no brainer. Best priced open wheel rim on the market?
Yep best value for sure!
I hope they make a PODIUM HUB style mounting system for this. Opens a lot of wheelrim options :)
you mean to add other wheel rims to the moza base? or to use the moza wheels on other bases?
@@LaurenceDusoswa Add other wheelrims. Technically the ES wheelrim can do this but a more simplified version would be nice :)

Yep it’s a proper deal ❤️
Amazing! Love Moza!
They’re killing it!
Yep! I have them all here and have reviewed them too. My point here is that simagic’s software isn’t up to par. But I love Simagic as a brand
In Canada the R12 is 15% more expensive than the Simagic Alpha Mini. The R9 is 8% cheaper than the Alpha Mini.
Then it’s a pretty easy choice :)
@@LaurenceDusoswa Which would you go for given the Canadian pricing? I'm starting to get decision fatigue 😂

I've seen a few comments on Moza R9 overheating when used for long periods to the point of being dangerous. I'm hoping for some reviews on the heat issues of R9, R12, etc. I guess we need someone to use these for long periods and measure the heat.
I haven’t had any issues
I have my moza r9 for 6 months now and i drive daily 3 - 5 hours. I had never issues with the wheel base.
Simagic alpha is 15nm, which has better overhead power for sitting in the normal window without much clipping 10-13nm
the same argument can be made for any wheelbase with more power
@@LaurenceDusoswais moza R12 FB with the upgraded hardware at the quality level of simagic? R12 vs Alpha?
I was thinking about getting a new round rim... Those Moza rims are tempting me. I'll have to get the hub to work with the Alpha U but the price is super nice. Great review as always LD.
Yep I wanna try the hub at some stage too. Very handy being able to use wheels from moza on another wheelbase!
Nice way of waking up the competition. Guess some need to cut down their massive profits on every sale.
Maybe. Or else moza has figured out how to make things super cheap 😅
10nm is the holding torque figure. They’re conservative about it which is very welcome. The mini is a beast.
i've ordered a ks wheel and universal hub to go on my simucube, hopefully they'll come out with some round wheels compatible with the UH soon
yep I wish they had some that were compatible
I cannot say anything bad about Moza. They make very attractive gear. Too bad I hitched my wagon to the large slow moving horse. If the wheelbase I have craps out, I'm replacing it with an R12 and the round mid priced wheel.
Fanatec?
Moza is making it increasingly more difficult not to buy their wheelbases and rims. This one is on my wish list for sure. Any thoughts on when or if they will release some new pedals? Surely they wont rest until they have a stranglehold on this segment of the market.
I would love to see a kickass set of pedals from them. It’s one area they’re lacking in. Taking Simagic as an example, Simagic is kicking MOZA’s ass in the pedals sector of the market
I was just thinking about having the moza base and steering.. plus the simagic p2000 with two pedals and 200kg sensor for 671 USD
Simagic is really napping by not releasing a cheap 150€-200€ wheel. Wheels cost almost as much as the base. Might be their way of compensating for the price of the bases but it's just a dealbreaker for me.
The GT Neo is as close as we're gonna get, but it's AMAZING
I'd love to use the KS with my Cammus base, I was excited to hear the QR is compatible, do you still have the Cammus base to verify the fit? Unclear on the Moza site is whether you need the universal adapter. Did the KS come with some kind of USB adapter? I only see an RJ45 type connector in the pictures of the wheel.
Cammus has a weird extra ring on the shaft. But it’s possible to make it fit
Love it!
I was also just wandering, Do I need the Third-Party Wheel Base Mount to connect to my Alpha Mini? Or can I use my Simagic one?
Simagic one bolts right up
Very cool to see such offerings coming on the market. This would be something I'd jump on from my CSW Fanatec with Porsche RSR wheel, but I am just in love with the wheel too much to let it go and switch to another 'eco-system' ;]
I know what you mean! It’s a tough one to justify
Hey! I was wondering if you would recommend the Moza R12 over something like the Simagic Alpha Mini as both seem like really good option.
Both great options! I think the alpha mini has a little more power. But the moza wheels are super nice. So go with the one with the nicest wheels for your needs
@@LaurenceDusoswa Thanks for the reply!
Simagic napping? The R12 is slightly better than the R9. But it's an unecessary middleground, when you can go for the R16 and actually make a bit more difference. Or R21 if you really want a workout.
for many 12Nm is the sweetspot. And the main reason simagic are caught napping is because their software is nowhere near as good as Moza's
@@LaurenceDusoswa Fair enough, in that case I understand better! I've never used any other wheel than Logitech and Moza, but I do love the Moza. So easy/fast to test settings, but more importantly to get them good.
I feel like, I made too quick of a decision buying the Simagic Alpha mini. I wonder how their new rim compares to the SIMAGIC GT4 at ($499)
Don’t worry too much. It’s SUPER close :) the alpha mini is awesome too. The gt4 rim is one of my favourites. Lovely buttons, great 7 way hats. The new moza KS is unreal value. It’s very good value. But it’s not at the quality of the GT4 rim.
Yeah why? The simagic alpha mini is a great wheel base.

@@voongnz How smooth does the gameplay and wheel feel with the Ras1ution 2 adapter?
@@JuniorSwingman feels amazing, zero input lag. I don't know the actual inner workings of the adapter, I'm just guessing. It just works.
You do have to go into Moza pithouse software and tweak some settings to get the most out of it though, you can't just turn everything to max and clip the signal. Once it's dialed in it's awesome.

Hi Laurence. I currently own a Simagic Alpha Mini and i was wondering if i can buy the Moza KS wheel and connect the Moza KS with the Moza QR on the Simagic base without damaging the pins in the Simagic base?
I recommend for anyone doing this to put some electrical tape over the connections on the simagic base to prevent any potential short circuiting.

If both were the same price, it would be the GS without a doubt. It's a glorious steering wheel. However, the only major difference is the quality of materials used and it has more functionality than the KS. If that's worth the money for you, then definitely the GS.

I'm currently on T300 looking to upgrade to Alpha Mini, but this gave me some mixed feelings.
entirely possible. But they did make their motors more efficient. Honestly I can't answer that question/concern
All alpha mini 13 nm ....in peak

I haven’t used the la prima yet unfortunately

Yep!
Man I was going to save up for a GRID MPX, but this may be too good of a value to pass up. Would there be any need (or benefit) to using the Moza software if using the adapter with a SC2 pro? I’m guessing button mapping and advanced lighting?

Higher end brands are seriously in trouble.
I think it's great for everyone, including the competition. It actually highlights to them what they're missing.
What pedals are you going with
I bought a simagic alpha mini two weeks ago. You think the r12 is better? I can still send my simagic back im not sure now
No. You’ll barely notice those 2nm difference anyway.

Alpha mini 13 nm in peak
Nah you'll be fine with the Alpha Mini
Thanks all
Lmao I would never trust taking any of my sim racing kit outside of my house and laying them on the ground like that.
Bahahaha it’s good to be different 😂😅
