Proud of you Grayson. Keep exploring this rabbit hole. There is much wisdom buried within. You can see how people secum to division and "better than" instead of aligning themselves and allowing their fruit and life to be the example that walks before them. I have been learning and growing for 30odd years, and I am thankful for that knowledge. May you continue on your path free from prying eyes.
Exactly. Action is based solely on intentions.... Try and assess your shortcomings why... I believe you have very little will to do it... Primarily because you have no intentions of being sober yourself.... Change your paradigm... You don't do it for yourself alone. You actually do it for the pleasure of your Creator, then things will be easy...
You can't keep your fast unless your mind is aware that you are accountable if you break it and that you will be rewarded greatly if you get through it. Being sober for the rest of your life is easy if you have your intentions clean and do it for the sake of pleasing your Creator...
A bit of a side note, but 3:59 why would the devil try to tempt Jesus (peace be upon him) if Jesus is God? Isn't he supposed to be the Lord of the world already? Does this not imply that the devil is more powerful than God? (والعياذ بالله). What do Christians think of this? I find it so bizarre.
Grayson already believe Jesus is not God! He truly believe that Quran is the word of God. Thus he believe everything in the Quran. Thus he believes that Muhammad SAW is the final prophet. That makes him a Muslim already. What he is questioning now is the current practise of Muslim that are different from what is said in the Quran. This is the investigative journey he is at right now.
@@diahiskandarbinmohamadjani7674I'm aware of that. I've followed Grayson's journey too. My question was directed to Christians.. out of genuine curiosity.
It's okay, you are human and you may make mistakes or not succeed in everything or even not succeed the first time. God does not ask us for perfection, but He asks us to strive for perfection even if we do not reach it. The important thing is to try and continue and do not allow negative thoughts to control you. may i ask (Allah) to guide you and protect you.💟
Grayson, you're right, one should do good deeds for the sake of God not for publicity, but your initiative was so that the public can get inspired for the sake of God. You've inspired both Muslims and non-Muslims, so when you make videos at this stage, it's for educational purposes, and your deeds are witnessed by God, so slowly have them private between you and God. Also nothing wrong with breaking the fast, no one can be perfect, Satan exist, he'll find a way, it's our duty to realise our mistake and repent and try not to repeat (though as humans we may even repeat, but God is the Most Merciful, he forgives whenever you seek forgiveness). Lastly, Prophets demonstrated their good deeds so the people could learn. If Jesus hid his 40 days 40 nights of fast, you won't be talking about it today, people won't be inspired. So Grayson. I hope you keep inspiring others, and keep reflecting upon the Qur'an, and keep preaching monotheism to both Muslims and non-Muslims!
This is not a fast as fast are meant to be broken. You didn't break a fast you broke a commandment. I'm not sure if you consider yourself a Muslim but it's a major sin. Alhamdulillah, Allah is the all forgiving and the most merciful so just make a sincere repentance. May Allah bless you with the steadfastness and guidance, amin. Much Salam from your Bosnian brother.
Hi Grayson, please continue your project to study the Quran word by word. But don't share it online. It is your personal journey. It is possible that at end of it, your conclusion of it is not in agreement with 99% of the muslim. But it is all between you and Allah SWT. Stay humble. Stay sincere.
Grayson you’ll get em next time. Keep studying Islam focus on one thing slow and steady because just like the shaytan making you break your fast he can push you away from Islam too. And 5:36 that’s why Islam is so tough brutal boring for you to study now. All this is shaytan stay strong.

Come on brother. You're stronger than that brother. Do it for the sake of Allah ta'ala and you'll be good inshallah.
It’s best you don’t reveal your sins in Islam, you should have remained quiet on this issue and repented.
It's okay....keep trying....May Allah guide you ..but you must seek the truth wholeheartedly
Informing people you are fasting doesn't break your fast.

You made a commitment to staying sober and you couldn't live up to the commitment. Ask for forgiveness from Allah and start again.......
